The people that work here are so incredibly rude.
No wonder the place is empty. Also, the food was cold and the vegetables were burned. Not going back.

I have been going to Dig for 7+ years and take no pleasure in writing this review. While the food quality and service has been going down for years, I've never experienced anything like I just did. I arrived at my neighborhood Dig at 8:05pm (they close at 9:00pm) and they were out of rice, quinoa, and ALL vegetable sides. All they had left was chicken and Mac and cheese. I understand running low on food within 10-20 minutes of closing time, but not an hour before closing time. If you're going to run out of food at 8:05pm, close at 8:00pm. Sad to see this brand fall apart like this.Update - I've reached out to the email address DIG responded with and have heard nothing back.

I've ordered from here maybe 4 times and it was great the first time. The next 2 times, I had a stomach ache maybe a half hour after. The last time I had food from here was last week and it will be the last time ever. I nearly shit myself on my drive back home and I was hugging the toilet until the next day with food poisoning.

I originally really liked this place - great menu and seemingly healthy fast options. However, I was wondering why I wasn't feeling great after a "healthy" meal, and after reading their nutrition facts and ingredients it is obvious. One bowl has the ENTIRE days recommendation of sodium!! The recommended daily amount is 2,300mg. The hot honey bowl has 2210 mg and the roast chicken bowl has 2290 mg.Not to mention the number one ingredient in all the dressings is Canola Oil.Please do better dig inn and do not market yourself as healthy food.

Ordered two custom bowls at this Dig location and was very impressed. I love Dig's selection of protein and veggies! It is such a healthy mix. This location was very clean and bright. Like all the other Dig locations, this holds to the same high standards! Ordered the charred chicken with cauliflower and carrots. Delicious and lightly seasoned. Also ordered the meatballs bowl with cucumber and tomatoes salad and butternut slaw. Loved the seasonal butternut squash slaw! Definitely get this! Only in season now! Overall, loved the choices and how healthy these options are!

My wife and I go out and eat all the time! Especially in NYC. BUT today I was very impressed! Well...both of us were! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with smiles and welcomes! The manager, Wilson, offered us menus! And as we were readings the menu and deciding on what we were getting, we were "pleasantly" interuppted with....."I'm sorry, but give me a few minutes so I can replenish all the foods in the case!" We were like.....wow! Ok! Do your thing! Of course! And we were in awe with what he and his staff delivered in the next few minutes! As soon as the case was filled, Tina, with the help of George and Corrine got our order perfect and right the first time! Tina was like a machine and computer all at the same time, as efficient as possible! Definitely would go back and do it again! Such a pleasant experience! Totally love the food too! Everything was deeeeelicious!
Be the first to ReplyFrom the shop's concept, it doesn't sound like much.
But what sets them apart is honestly how seasoned each protein and veggie was. My friend from Boston came to visit and we stopped by Dig on a whim. She got salmon, roasted cauliflower, and cherry tomatoes over brown rice. I got blackened chicken, sweet potato and caesar kale over brown rice. Terrific 10/10 meal, everything paired so well together, no complaints!
Be the first to ReplyDig offers customizable food bowls with locally sourced
Dig offers customizable food bowls with locally sourced ingredients. This fast casual restaurant with over 26 locations is a good option for fresh food. After taking a look at the different choices, I placed my order at the counter for a custom bowl with greens, corn, carrots and salmon. It was delicious.
Be the first to ReplyOrdered through the app and had a hassle free pick up.
When I got to the store I did notice that it was quite empty for busy lunch time in a popular area. I bought two of the same bowls, one for me and the other for a coworker. The meal was completely cold. Steak was flavorless and chewy. The mushrooms and burnt broccoli were just as flavorless. The jammy egg was overwhelmed with black pepper. The farro was hard. Overall, I was extremely underwhelmed with the meal, as was my coworker. Won't order again.
Be the first to ReplyGreat option if your find yourself by the hospitals.
Complete customization of the order was done accurately, order was quick and packaged well for takeout. Great flavor, fairly healthy choices and convenient.
Be the first to ReplyGreat, casual, healthy lunch place.
Better deal than Sweetgreen which is right next door. I usually get the spicy lime leaf salmon and I am happy with it. I like that they automatically put the sauce on the side.
Be the first to ReplyI was happy this place opened right near me but the food
I was happy this place opened right near me but the food has severely declined over the years (used to go to one downtown). I got the salmon with a farro base and two sides. The farro and broccoli were ok but the sweet potatoes was burnt. The portions are TINY. But the worst part was the salmon. It was awful. I've tried it now three times and it is always dry, over cooked and tastes like it's from three days prior. I'm honestly shocked that this is what is going out of this place. Called the store and was met with attitude on the phone which is a real shame especially when I'm trying to support local businesses. What an overall horrible experience.

I absolutely adore dig inn so imagine how thrilled I was to find one conveniently located a brisk walk away from my job. I speedwalked there and luckily there was only a short line.Dig inn is known for serving fast casual farm to table meals. They take basic ingredients and season them to absolute perfection. The result is a delicious, healthy, and nutritious meal. I feel like I could eat it every day. Your meal starts with choosing a base, followed by 2 sides, a main protein, and 2 sauces. That gets you the cheapest option at ~$10, the farmer's bowl. I chose a fiber rich grain called farro, mixed with their roasted chicken, cauliflower and Mac and cheese. The chicken is so moist, smooth, and mouthwateringly delicious. The cauliflower was a close second. I did choose a pesto sauce on the side but everything tastes delicious even without it.One small hiccup was that I was overcharged for my bowl because they thought I got 3 sides. I told the cashier and she immediately offered me another side which I happily accepted.I definitely will be returning here next time I'm too tired to cook lunch.
Be the first to ReplyFirst time ordering from here.
Got Alaskan Salmon Kale Ceasar Salad from Grubhub. Salad itself was good, but salmon was still completely raw on the inside.
Be the first to ReplyFood is consistently great.
However, staff was very unorganized. My order was 20 minutes late even though I got there early and was the only person there for awhile. There's people we're expecting orders while at least another 5 we're hanging out in the back.

I feel awkward every time I come here the portions get smaller and smaller. Place is stingy on food, not worth the price!
Be the first to ReplyFood was good.
It's set up like Chipotle, you can either order off the menu or go down the line and say what you want in your bowl. I had farro, chicken thighs, roasted spicy cauliflower and roasted sweet potato wedges, my bf had brown rice (unseasoned), sweet potatoes, chicken thighs and their version of mac and cheese. The only reason I give it 4 stars is because the rice and farro bases need to be seasoned and that mac and cheese was horrible. I'm sure it's healthy, but even Kraft tastes better.
Be the first to ReplySo much potential, but the delivery was just lacking.
.. literally... I ordered two bowls off Uber Eats for scheduled delivery. They arrived on time, which was great! However, the food itself was very much lacking in several aspects. For one bowl, I ordered a base of greens- but found only a few leaves of spring mix and cabbage under the rest of the "sides." The avocado I added (for a whole $2.45!) was half bruised and brown (see pic). I must add though, the roasted sweet potatoes, Brussels sprouts, kale and citrus salad, and herb roasted squash were amazing in their own right (and wonderfully vegan), but the portion sizes were also very small. I feel like my experience would have been better ordering in person, which I may do one day, but considering the price and portions, I think I would prefer a hearty noodle bowl from next door.
Be the first to ReplyOne of the worst meals I've had in a while.
All of the vegetables were undercooked. Huge chunks of sweet potato that were hard in the middle, broccoli that was charred but essentially raw in terms of texture and hard eggplant with an unpleasant, bitter flavor. Very disappointing, definitely won't be back.
