I like that there's a Din Tai Fung in the middle of Vegas, there's a great convenience for this kind of food here for this scenery. The part that it misses is the quality in food. The dumplings were not hot and was about lukewarm. No steam coming from the baskets when they were placed down. Just a thin steam, barely noticed unless you're paying close close close attention. My server was Fenfen, she was definitely busy and didn't have the time to give the regular service I normally receive from Din Tai Fung in other locations. She was friendly and checked on me a couple times, which is enough for me. The ambience is cold, it doesn't feel like other Din Tai Fungs, it feels like I'm having a meal in an airport, the big windows around and the color scheme is quite basic to what a hotel would have like the Patisserie right around the corner. So it did not feel like I was in a dumpling house. So don't expect that, expect DTF food in a huge gigantic window hotel.Service from all staff was friendly and inviting, front desk was friendly and welcoming, management was friendly and open to help as needed. Food is what fell short. I would give a 2-2.5 star for this location. In comparison to other DTFs in the US, this place needs to make sure the dumplings come out steaming hot. Also the xlbs didn't look nicely folded as I've seen before, so texture felt off too. Fresh Orange Green tea with boba was actually good, I liked it. The cups are nice too in comparison to Washington DTFs. Overall the price isn't worth the food since the food fell short in Temperature, no one likes a lukewarm XLB. Especially when it's the Truffle and Pork XLB, and for that price point. It should definitely be meeting the standards.
😍
Do NOT miss Din Tai Fung
Took a group of 10 to Din Tai Fun to celebrate a birthday. It came very highly recommended and it DID NOT DISAPPOINT. The service. The food. Absolute perfection... We ordered a whole slew of food, and everything was divine. There is simply no reason not to go... Price is also insanely reasonable.

I've been to many DTF locations around the world and this
I've been to many DTF locations around the world and this one is probably the most disappointing of them all. I gave it two stars for the various vegan selections that was very accommodating for myself. However, all three people in group were very displeased with the quality, especially the $42USD truffle dumpling that should be removed from the menu. We laughed about it afterwards after posting it on our social media as many have responded to our posts saying the same thing for the truffle dumpling. There was a lack of soup and the texture was just not right. My vegan selections (cucumber salad, vegan dumplings and green beans) were okay. My favourite was probably the cucumber salad which isn't hard to mess up. Light flavours and crunchy, just the way I like it. The venue is enormous but still make a reservation ahead of time on Open Table. When you walk into the restaurant, you're welcomed by a bunch of staff inside a glass room assembling dumplings. It's truly incredible to watch and see them weigh each dumpling before wrapping. The staff were very friendly and a little forgetful when we requested certain items to be packaged. I'd love to visit the California location as my friends have all said it is much better than this LV location.
🙂
Always a stop for us when we're in Vegas.
Gotta have one of the Soup-er dumplings and we always choose the XLB. The short ribs appetizer is delicious and pairs well with the shrimp fried rice. The drinks this time around didn't taste so well. May be an off night because in the past we had no issues and we always order the same drinks. The old fashioned was waaaay too sweet couldn't taste the alcohol over the sweetness. The Lychee Martini was also too sweet and again couldn't taste the alcohol. Our server was amazing, Cesar was his name! He was funny, friendly, efficient and while it was a fairly busy night (4/2/22) he was hustling baaaaby!

This is the first time we tried Din Tai Fung and based on
This is the first time we tried Din Tai Fung and based on the lines out front and a friend's recommendation, I had high expectations. They did not live up. This is located in the old Aria Cafe, which was a nice place for breakfast and lunch in a quick & easy way. The new place is exactly the same. No remodeling or changing of decor at all. They just slapped a new name on the front. The food is meh. Not bad. Not good. Just food. The fried rice had no flavor at all although the pork chop was tasty. The rest of the meal was the same. It was quite disappointing based on the lines out front. Not sure why everyone seems to be going crazy about this place when Javier's is right across the casino floor and 20 times better. There is no menu. You get a slip of paper to choose your items. Having never been there, we had no idea what we were doing and explanations were few & far between. Of course you could scan the QR code and get it on your phone (I won't go into my rant about that here but NO). Overall, not terrible but there are much better places within less than a minute walking distance and no where near an upgrade from Aria Cafe (which they could bring back easily by changing the sign out front).
😍
If you love dumplings, this is a must try.
Loved the spicy wontons! Service was fantastic and the vibe was great.
Alway a must visit when in Vegas. Only downside is it's very popular. Better have a reservation and patience.
🤮
Check-in experience was super bad and rude.
We had to wait for a long time even through we made a reservation!
🤮
Service today was terrible.
20 minutes between dishes. Our server only came to our table the one time to get our order and never checked on us again. The lengthy time between orders caused us to be late for an event. When we politely let them know we were running late and needed to pay for the check quickly they took another 10 minutes to bring us out the card reader. Service has been downhill since opening.
😍
Like many people here, I heard about Din Tai Fung on TV and
Like many people here, I heard about Din Tai Fung on TV and all over social media. It was a no brainer that we had to check it out on our last trip to Vegas. It is located in the beautiful Aria Hotel and Casino. We stayed at the Cosmopolitan which was a short walk over. Just follow the signs and the crowds and you will find it. I booked in advance which I would highly recommend if you plan on coming here. They are punctual with the reservations. We arrived about 10 minutes early and we had to wait till the exact time to go to the next line. As soon as the clock hit our appointed time, they had us go to another line with the host. This line was cool as we got to watch the expert dumpling makers at work through an observation glass. I made eye contact with one and I swear she made my dumplings extra special! Now on to the food, the oh so glorious food. I've had dim sum. I've had dumplings. None as good as the food here. The ordering process is similar to most dim sum places. They give you a paper menu and you check the items you want and how many. We went a little crazy ordering and ordered quite a bit of food. For appetizers we got the Fried Pork Chop, Cucumber Salad, Sweet and Sour Baby Back Ribs, and Wood Ear Mushrooms. The surprise favorite was the Fried Pork Chop. It was so tender and juicy and full of flavor. I would get the entrée portion next time. The baby back ribs were outstanding as well. We went in on the entrees as well. When you come here, you have to get the Pork Xiao Long Bao. I believe it is a right of passage. It is their famous soup dumpling. I'll be honest, I have never had a soup dumpling in my life until here. I guess I can't say its the best I ever had, but the bar is set high for the next time I have one. Our amazing waiter told us to scan a link on the menu which showed us how to eat it properly. I did as instructed and that dumpling was so so good. The broth poured out and it was so rich in flavor. the filling was just as good. We also tried the Bok Choy, Jidori Chicken Dumplings, Jidori Chicken Buns, Kurobuta Pork Buns, Noodles w/ Diced Beef and Jidori Spicy Wontons. Again, everything was tasty. Drinks all around were just ok, I would skip those next time.Overall, this was one of my best Vegas dining experiences to date. Considering the hotel, the ambience and popularity, it wasn't super over priced like most high end Vegas establishments. I would come back without hesitation!
The soup dumplings were fantastic but the Jidori chicken dumplings were our favorite. Pork and vegetable won tons also do not disappoint. The only thing we got that we would pass on next time was the Diced beef noodles. Great texture but the flavor wasn't there.
😍

Food, service, and the ambience was amazing!! such a great experience, cannot wait to come back again!!

I actually stumbled upon Din Tai Fung by accident.
As I was checking into my hotel room I asked the girl who was checking me in as to what I should do for dinner tonight. She mentioned that she just ate at Din Tai Fung and it was really good. So I went with her recommendation. I got to my hotel room and started checking them out and found out they are a Taiwanese restaurant and I've never had Taiwanese food before, so I thought here is my chance to try it out! I logged into their website and made dinner reservations for one at 7pm later that night. MAJOR KEY ALERT! If you are planning on dinning here, heed my warning! You will need to make reservations at least two days in advance. I just got really lucky and it helped that I was dinning by myself. I arrived at 6:55 pm and I wanted to check out the restaurant for a bit to see how it was. Once you check-in with the front hostess then you're allowed to step back into another waiting area and it's really cool because you get to see them make the fresh dumplings! If you post to social media, make sure you get there a few minutes early so you can see the process of how they make the dumplings. I made my way to my table and I knew I wanted to start off with the fresh jasmine tea as well as the string beans with garlic. After scanning the menu I went with Kurobuta Pork: Xiao Long Bao, Shrimp & Pork Dumplings, and the Shrimp & Kurobuta Pork Spicy Wontons. After placing my order, I sat back and waited for bit just people watching. This place is buzzing with people and gives off a good vibe and you just know that you're about to eat some good food. First to arrive were my string beans and Xiao Long Bao. I saw they had some chili sauce on the table as a condiment, so I took a little scoop and put it on my plate and dunked my Long Bao into a nice little chili bath. I popped it into my mouth and I was pleasantly surprised to find out that the Long Bao was filled with some soup broth! WHAT in the world was this magical pouch filled liquid that I just put into my mouth???? I was not expecting the long bao to be filled with soup broth! Oh my what an experience, what a sensation, what an eye opener, what a jaw dropper! Totally unexpected but boy I tell you what, it's an addicting dish. The way the long bao just pops into my mouth and when I go in for the first bite and it explodes in my mouth was like adding another 'sense' to your eating experience. We eat with our eyes, nose, and tongue. The long bao just adds another level of depth to the eating experience. Next came the Shrimp & Pork dumplings and they were good and I don't think I could go back to eating any other random dumpling again. The way the fresh dough is used to cradle the ingredients and gently transport the fillings to your mouth is outstanding. Lastly, the shrimp and pork spicy wontons arrived in a chili sauce. This chili sauce is extremely addicting and I started to dunk the long bao and dumplings into this sauce. Ok look this is how good this sauce is... After I got back into my room I tried looking up a copy cat recipe for this sauce and chili oil and I was so determined to bring this sauce back home and I actually found it both on eBay and ordered a jar of each the chili sauce and chili oil for $70. Din Tai Fung is great Taiwanese food and their food quality is 5 stars. I've been eating foods for almost 4 decades now and this is going to be my first 6 star review of any restaurant I've ever written a review for on Yelp. Yes, it's really and truly that good. Anytime I see Din Tai Fung in the area I will make it my mission to go out of my way to eat here. Can't wait to go back!

On a recent visit to Las Vegas we went to several restaurants but this restaurant was by far the best! Everything we ordered was superb. We went there for a brunch! The line was long but we had a reservation! Follow the staff advice on what to order. Soup dumplings (pork) is essential. The potstickers were divine. Fried rice was excellent. I can go on and one. DO NOT MISS THIS RESTAURANT! The prices are reasonable for Vegas.
😍
This is my new favorite spot in Vegas.
Everything we had was wonderful and I can't wait to go back next visit. Of course you need to order the Soup Dumplings, and they are very tasty. The other dishes that stood out where the chicken wontons in the spicy sauce, the sweet & sour soup, and I really enjoyed the rice cakes dish we chose.
🤢
Over price for plain foods.
If you like the atmosphere, then enjoy them. If you like good tasty dim sum, try ping pang pong!
😍
This place is wonderful.
Even though they have a huge venue you're going to need reservations way ahead of time. Lots of folks love this place too. Lines begin as they open the doors. They have 3-4 hostesses seating you. At the front they showcase their chefs making their fresh dumplings and noodles. I've been here multiple times and the food does not disappoint. My faves are the soupy dumplings, ribs, green beans, and anything spicy on the menu. There are no carts that come around. You'll need to order from the menu and the fresh food will be brought out. Don't just limit yourself to the tea. They have pretty incredible smoothies too. I'm partial to the lychee one. Can't wait to get back soon
😍
Place is awesome! Such a big space and clean.
We sat at bar and had great service. Ordered Pork Xlb and Cucumber Salad. Both were the best! It was a great culinary adventure and experience. Price may seem high for the amount you get but definitely not for the quality! We'll be back to try more.
🤮
Rude customer service treatYou like you don't belong there
Rude customer service treatYou like you don't belong there if you don't look like you have money never available for reservations
Everyone love Din Tai fung , Specially, I'll always order Jasmine Boba tea, tea is good, boba is perfect. Today I came to Las Vegas, knowing there is Dim Tai Fung , we went there ordering a Boba tea ( there was a long wait , just order Togo) and it cost $8 for a Jasmine tea with boba. when tea came I was so happy , but when I taste it, I think they forgot to add sugar at all, My husband and I went back and politely tell them ,maybe they can add some sugar for our tea. He call his Manager, 3 of them whispering each other , manager came to us saying they want to remake it for us. We told her it's not necessary. But she still want to remake it for us. Asking how sweet we want , I said just the regular sweet they make. She came back telling us double check the sweetness and let her know, but she left before we can respond to her. . We really appreciate it. But when We try it, I almost couldn't believe it. It was WAY TOO sweet for a tea. I can't said anything to them anymore because they make us feel like we are Trouble customer. In Los Angeles, any location of Din Tai Fung , I would never need to adjust tea sugar level , it came perfect. The service was superb too. Din Tai Fung is great restaurant, it need a consistency , even just for a tea. Quite disappointed by their customer service. Will not go back for sure.

Best Asian restaurant in the US
Best Asian restaurant. This is our 4th time eating here and have never been disappointed with the food, service, and taste.
😍
I wasn't expecting much because I've heard some people
I wasn't expecting much because I've heard some people claim this place is "overhyped". However, everything was delicious and I was pleasantly surprised! As an avid asian foodie who's eaten many dumplings in her lifetime, I highly recommend going here. The service was impeccable. I'd also do unspeakable things to have the peach black tea again. Will be back asap
😒
I've eaten at many din Thai fungs.
This one was okay. It's more expensive than other locations and portions are smaller. I was surprised that it didn't taste as good as others. Something was off.
😍

Might have been the best food I had on the trip! Everything was exceptional. Our drinks and food took an extremely long time to come out, but the food was so good and the service was so nice that it didn't even matter.Absolutely go for the experience. This is not a place to have a time limit on. It's worth it
😍
Love this DTF location! Huge, floor to ceiling windows
Love this DTF location! Huge, floor to ceiling windows along the edge of the building. The entrance is on the 1st floor amongst the slots (right of the escalators and Patisserie). I avtsusllt ordered a bit too much for the 3 of us thus of course we couldn't finish all of it, especially the green beans and fried noodles because it was served last. Most Chinese restaurants serve the rice and noodles last. I didn't remember that DTF did it that way too. It seems they actually serve the food like the order it's listed in the menu. I ordered Jidori chicken dumplings, 2 Sweet and Sour Baby Back Ribs, 2 Kurobuta pork XLB, Crab and Kurobuta Pork XLB, Veg and Pork Spicy won tons, Cucumber Salad, Jidori chicken fried noodles, String beans with garlic, and Passion fruit green tea. Repeat order each time I dine at DTF- String beans with garlic (always incredibly crispy!), Sweet and Sour Baby Back Ribs (2 orders for 3 people is the minimum you need or someone will be disappointed), Cucumber Salad, any Spicy Won Ton, and Crab XLB. I will get the veg fried noodles and Shanghai rice cakes with shrimp next time. The waiter recommended the chocolate XLB for dessert, maybe next time.
🙂
Had to check out this dim sum place located in the Aria
Had to check out this dim sum place located in the Aria hotel . We made reservations ahead of time and I highly recommend it because the line to get in for lunch was long . It's typically family style so you can order various type of entree and share or you can order their noodles soup for individual with maybe a side dumpling. There famous for their Xiao long bao uts dumplings filled with a little soup base inside it was ok you needed to be careful if you make a hole while picking it up it will leak. My favorite was their garlic butter green beans it was real crispy and fresh with lots of flavor. Their cucumber salad is basically cucumber kimchi lol. The Kurabota pork bun is like our Manapua back home but the inside is not shredded pork it's like a round ball inside the bun . The parking @ Aria I would recommend not to valet because the restaurant do not validate and for 2 hours it's $21 so I recommend self parking. While entering the restaurant there's a room with glass and you can see there employees making all the dumplings which it was pretty neat . Overall - 4 Stars Food - 4 Star Service - 3.5 Star Parking - 3 StarIt's different and you need to experience it one time but actually next time I'm in Vegas I wouldn't go out of my way to go again
..you can't go wrong! One perk about the Vegas one is that you can actually make reservations. I seem to recall the ones in Cali are all FCFS resulting in long lines out the door.Din Tai Fung has definitely stepped it up for vegans. They used to always have good options, but now they have clearly marked menu items that you can definitely make a full meal out of. The prices here are pretty exorbitant, but that's Vegas for you. The service was top notch. We went for a Sunday brunch and it was surprisingly not very crowded but we made a reservation for right when they opened. Our server even packed up dessert for us (taro xlb) which was a well deserved snack as we explored the rest of the strip. Recommended, but there are probably more unique vegas dining options.
🙂
The best dim sum I've ever had! cucumber salad and green
The best dim sum I've ever had! cucumber salad and green beans were so good! And of course for dessert we had the chocolate and taro XLB. Staff was welcoming and friendly as well.

Delicious! Everything we had! It came highly recommended
Delicious! Everything we had! It came highly recommended and it did not disappoint. Definitely make a reservation (which goes for anywhere on the strip if you can). You can see kitchen staff working on dumplings and wontons as you walk in. We had the Cucumber Salad, Kurobuta Pork Xiao Long Bao, Jidori Chicken Dumplings, Shrimp & Kurobuta Pork Spicy Wontons, Shrimp Fried Noodles and Chocolate & Mochi Xiao Long Bao for dessert. Our waiter(s) were very helpful as far as questions and recommendations and they were also very attentive even though they were in the middle of a shift change. Pricey but worth every penny!
😍
Din Tai Fung is incredible.
Zhao Long Bao made by hand. Try the dessert XLB - sesame and red bean. Amazing. Veggies are wonderful. Nothing on that menu is bad.
This place open at 11am. Lady in the front told me because we didn't have a reservation we would have to wait for an hr. So we decided to wait. Upon check Google reservation this place was open at 1130 for reservation so we made it and we came to the same lady and she told me wait over there and you will be seated. As we came in there were few people on the phone browsing and it was 90% empty. I think you have a wrong people working in the front who's too lazy and just don't care about the revenue. We were sat immediately and didn't have to wait for an hour. What kind of business are you running here? Find good employee who cares for you. I really don't understand how customer has to wait for an hr when it's 90% empty for absolutely no reason. May be it only happens in dumb Vegas
😍
This is probably one of my favorite restaurants for dim sum.
I love the sweet and sour pork baby back ribs. The green beans are PHENOMENAL. The Kurobuta Pork Xiao Long Bao is a must! The Jidori Chicken Dumplings in spicy sauce are yummy too. I love eating at this place and I always get a side of white rice to go with my food too.

As a longtime fan of the Arcadia CA restaurant I was excited to see a Las Vegas location. I made a 1:45 reservation for the day of our arrival. Unfortunately our flight was delayed and after waiting in line for 5 minutes, we checked in at 2:02. The hostess Kalina in a "I don't care attitude" informed us our table for two was given away after 15 minutes. This despite my trying to call to let them know we would be minutes late. No one answered my call. Kalina then informed me in her "I hate my job" attitude she could seat us at 5:00. Stay as far away from this place as possible
🙂
Great food and service.

Not sure what to expect on our first visit but was pleasantly surprised to the point of definitely wanting to return next time in Vegas. Choices are varied and well presented. The drinks are pricey but the menu items reasonable.

What can I say that others already haven't.
If you haven't you got to hit this place up.

Service was a bit slow so I am giving the restaurant a 4, food was fantastic! I give the food a 10!Came hot, evenly paced, I am a foodie and go to find the most delicious food and this would be on the top!I've been to the one in Orange County, now in Vegas- would go again with each visit!
🙂
4 stars all the way!Great dumplings and really fun drinks.
Menu has a great variety of hot and cold items.4 people over $400 is a tad pricy for the fair but none the less i recommend coming with a few friends to share the menu.
Great atmosphere, service and food. We will definitely visit again.
🤢
This is the most disappointed I've been with a DTF.
They are overpriced at the Aria and the XLB was bland. The Spicy Wonton didn't have the consistent flavor as the other locations. Mind you, I've been to locations in Hong Kong, Shanghai, Chengdu, LA, Seattle, Portland.... In LV, there are other options for great Asian cuisine.

Every time we come to Vegas we look forward to eating here, even if we are not staying at the Aria.
Menu is big, prices are not bad and the food is delicious. Make sure to share and try multiple soups, dumplings and buns.
This place is AMAZING!
😍
Food was AMAZING!!! 10/10 for sure.
The food took a little way to come out but that's my only complaint. Everything was delicious
.. bomb! I wish I would have taken more pictures but we were Too busy devouring our food. We ordered the cucumber salad, spicy wontons , Kurobuta Pork Xiao Long Bao, Sautéed String Beans with Garlic which are a must !! & Shredded Kurobuta Pork Fried Noodles. 10/10 experience from start to finish everything is 100 fresh and house made. This place is a must try ! It's located inside of the Aria. We showed up on a Friday and waited about 10 minutes tops. Staff was awesome the are very informative. Honestly you just have to appreciate the fact that there are people hand making the amazingly delicious wontons. I would defiantly come back. Specially for those green beans.
😍

Addicting!!! This place has the best dumplings I've ever had! SO GOOD:) Can't stop eating these... can't stop...
I will definitely come back every time I come to Vegas. Make reservations ahead of time. They are always packed. You will not get in without advanced planning.Everything lives up to the hype. Definitely try the wonton in spicy sauce. The chocolate mochi Xiao Long Bao was amazing. Next time I want to try the chocolate buns

It’s alright, Interesting menu
Looked forward to trying Din Tai Fung, it looked interesting. Arrived on time for our 5:30pm reservation on Saturday evening. Not impressed with the check in process. Check in line at a counter outside the restaurant, then told to line up on the right side with a lot of other dinner guests to wait for the hostess to yell out your name. Not very speedy, efficient or enjoyable to wait like this. We almost left, it was not a great first impression.
Ordered the famous Xiao Long Bao along with Shrimp fried noodles and Jidori Chicken fried rice. The noodles and rice arrived before the Xiao Long Bao which we expected would be served as a starter. Far too much egg in the fried rice. The shrimp fried noodles were the best.
Happy we tried it, but won’t be on our Vegas restaurants favourites list.
🙂
Really good dim sum, excellent service, atmosphere relax
The restaurant is located within Aria hotel. The decor is modern with a hint of Asian imprints. The dim sum selections is abundance and all that we tried was delicious, and authentic in flavors. The beef stew soups was excellent. The service was excellent. Every staffemeber we encountered were polite and delivered excellent service.
😍
Excellent food and service!
We loved our meal and wish we could have dined there a second time. The service was wonderful and our many questions about food choices were answered thoroughly. It was a pleasure dining there!
🤢
Very bland for chinese food.
We made reservations at Din Tai Fung with great expectations. The service was excellent, and the ambience was great, however the food was very bland. Having lived in Taiwan for two years I was excited to eat authentic Chinese dumplings. I was expecting flavorful dumplings, with the tastes of ginger, and sesame oil. Their dumplings were so bland. We comment afterwards that the frozen dumpling that can be bought from Walmart are more flavorful.
Very disappointed. Next time we are in Las Vegas we will try a different Chinese restaurant.
😍
Great food, excellent service
Everything about this place was awesome. We arrived early for our reservation on Sunday and were seated quickly. Very well-staffed place and the place was very busy! Monica was our server and she was well-versed on the food and we loved that she went through the menu and drew hearts next to her favorite items! Great idea, we ended up ordering a few things that we weren't planning on because of this. AND they were so good! The green beans with garlic and the wontons in house spicy sauce were two of the unexpected items that turned out to be our favorites. And gotta love a place that takes a nut allergy seriously.
