If this food was a person I would never let her go, I would cherish each moment I spent with her and never let her forget her worth. The whole restaurant feels like a warm hug and the service was amazing. Jazz is a phenomenal waiter and met my every request. I will be back!
Be the first to ReplyI went to Double Zero for a vegan friend's birthday.
The restaurant is quite small but my friend had made a reservation so we were seated pretty quickly. However, the people in our party all arrived at different times but the staff was very accommodating. A+ in regards to service. There were 11 of us so we just ordered a bunch of pizzas and pasta. To be completely honest I don't remember everything we ordered but I tried it all and it was all quite good. My favorite thing of the night was certainly the Spicy Arabiata pie. The shiitake bacon and cauliflower added some great texture and flavor to the pie and a nice helping of basil on top was refreshing. The crust on all of the pies was nice and crisp with the right amount of char. Another pie I really enjoyed was the Basil Sunflower Pesto. It's definitely a more exotic type of pizza, but as a fan of pesto I was very pleased. My favorite of the pastas was the Cacio e Pepe. It wasn't too heavy and the flavor was simple and clean (in a good way). The pasta was cooked well with a nice chew to it. For a return visit I'd probably get this again. The food is a little pricey but it was very good. I wouldn't mind coming back.
Be the first to ReplyFood was absolutely delicious.
The best mushrooms I have ever had. I highly recommend this restaurant.

The crust is the best part of this Michelin star eatery! We have tried a bunch of different flavors and keep going back to try them all. I'd recommend asking for a side of agave to drizzle on top, it adds a nice sweetness to the pie. The waitstaff is very knowledgeable and makes great recommendations if you are having trouble deciding. Prefect place for a date night!

On my first visit I shared the antipasto salad, truffle pizza and cheesecake with my gf. Each item was was flavorful, delicious and beautifully plated. The service was warm and friendly. We ate the pizza so quickly, I forgot to snap a pic. Looking forward to my next visit!!

Came here on a Friday night around 6:30 with a friend for girls night! We had a reservation but when I came in, it was empty. Don't be fooled, it packs up quickly! We ordered passion fruit gin & tonic and blood orange margarita for drinks! For food, we got the linguini and truffle pizza to share. It was a lottt of food but we agreed that we'd ditch the pasta next time and opt for the pizza! If you love mushrooms and truffle, that pizza is the way to go. Otherwise, plenty of other pizzas to try - I'd try another pie next time! One down side about service is that our waiter didn't mark down our order correctly and came out with two pizzas instead of a pizza & pasta. We weren't in a rush or rushed out to leave, so it was fine. Ambience is nice but if you're looking for a place to have a lottt of conversation, it's a bit loud.
Be the first to ReplyAbsolutely appalling experience.
We purchased money from their website to dine there on Xmas Eve. Servers and food were lovely btw. When bill came they said they had had problems with this before and we couldn't use the money purchased through their website! The waiter suggested we walk out on bill and that he would handle it. I asked to speak to a manager. Waited 35 minutes for that, while my wife and 3 year old boy waited in sub zero winter temps. Manager came in over a half hour later today, was rude, and said it wasn't his fault. I even showed him the link when he challenged me, and he then walked away rudely and said too bad and nothing he could do. So we had to charge it to my CC, I have useless money their website swindled us for, and on top of that another manager calls me to tell me he would fix this and apologized profusely and said he had had this issue before. But then no fix and they've ignored my messages. HORRIBLE. It's a scam. Do not dine here or any of their restaurants. Bring cash if you do and don't purchase or give them anything through their website.

I have a milk allergy so i've been looking into different places in the city where i can get my pizza fix. double zero has all vegan options! we tried their sunflower basil pesto and margherita pizza. both were really delicious and the cashew cheese paired really well with the different ingredients. the margherita pizza had really fresh and tart sauce. i would have preferred if the pizza was thicker but i'd still come back here.
Be the first to ReplyWow guys.
Second time here and I wish I could go more often than I'm able. The setting is beautiful, the service is attentive, and the menu is A+. We had the Caesar Salad, the Cacio e Pepe, and the Garden Pizza. All amazing. I actually forced myself to finish because it was a lot of food for 2 people but the thought of leaving a slice behind was too difficult to imagine. Wish I had room for dessert, but alas - next time.

I got three things: the artichoke pizza, cacio e pepe, and eggplant parmesan. ย Only the cacio e pepe was alright. The eggplant parmesan was just not it. The service was nice but the food was definitely not worth the price. Spent over 70 and was very unsatisfied with the flavors.
Be the first to ReplyMy first time coming here and they were amazing.
I ordered the wrong pizza by accident and they were kind enough to replace it for me for free. The pizza was one of the best I've had, the lemon spritzer was very refreshing and the decor is very warm and inviting.
Be the first to ReplyEverything was SO good.
You could order anything on the menu and you'd be so happy with it. My non vegan friends still say how delicious everything was. The truffle pizza & pasta dishes and the potato pizza were
Be the first to ReplyDouble Zero is my go to comfort food.
I always get the Cacio e Pepe that's absolutely amazing and try different pizzas every time I go. The spicy Arrabbiata was really good, I love that everything is vegan so my tummy won't hurt afterwards. They also have gluten free options
Be the first to ReplyWithout a doubt one of my favorite restaurants in Manhattan.
Pizza is a love language for me. As a vegan it can be difficult to find good pizza that doesn't taste like processed vegan cheese. At Double Zero, you feel like you're eating pizza in Italy. Seriously. It's that good. Their combination of attention to flavor and texture is out of this world. My favorites are the Truffle Cream Pizza, Pepperoni Pizza, and the Margherita Pizza. I also love the Caesar salad, Olives, and the cheesecake. It's also a beautiful space with an elevated ambiance of friendship. Who doesn't love sharing a pizza with people they love? In this case it's a bit more upscale. Im also really grateful that have hired more people of color in the restaurant. Veganism began culturally in communities of color, and it is so sad to see how those cultures are excluded from the vegan scene today.

Some of the best pizza I've eaten in ages, solid flavors and reasonable prices. Winner!
Be the first to ReplyFood is fantastic my friends took me here for my birthday
Food is fantastic my friends took me here for my birthday dinner. however in the age of omicron, I was so surprised to be seated so close to other patrons. the business had no intention of protecting its patrons from omicron because we were seated on top of each other. You can't move an elbow without hitting a stranger. So cramped! I have never been so uncomfortable dining out. The food is delicious but unfortunately due to safety reasons, I cannot recommend this place.

It's a lovely space, with excellent service and friendly staff. Free water served immediately which I appreciated. Rows of wine bottles on one wall, dim lighting and a ย cosy temperature all lend a very inviting atmosphere. Yes, it's expensive, at pizza pies for 20something dollars. There are lots of pizza option to choose from. Nonpizza options are slightly less. I got the truffle cream pizza, loaded with mushrooms. Despite the impressive appearance, the pizza flavour was just.... OK. Yes I ate it all bc I was hungry and paid for it. But sadly it was just fine. I've had much better nonvegan and vegan pizzas.
Be the first to ReplyGreat pizza and great environment.
Double Zero is one of my favorite restaurants in NY, not only because of the food, but because of the whole experience. First off, I highly recommend getting a reservation to ensure you can get your desired type of seating (indoor or outdoor) and to avoid a wait. Your experience starts the moment you walk in. ย The restaurant has a cozy feeling, with music playing at a appropriate level, and communal seating which makes it a bit unique. ย But the real highlight is the food. ย We only tried the pizzas during our visit, but all the ones we tried were made to perfection. Tasty dough, delicious sauce, and varied toppings and combinations. ย Additionally, the size of the pizza is relatively large, so it is easy to share one pizza and a appetizer for two (~$15-20 per person). All in all, if you want good pizza and a great experience, Double Zero is hands down an excellent alternative. My Criteria5 stars: The best food I have ever had, or an excellent option given the price.4 stars: Good food, a restaurant I look forward to trying again. 3 stars: Good food, a restaurant that I am indifferent to. 2 stars: Below average experience, will not go again.1 stars: This restaurant should be closed.
Be the first to ReplySo glad I finally tried this place.
I had the spicy arrabbiata and the chopped salad. It did not disappoint! Definitely satiated my incessant l-since-going-vegan pizza craving! Service was only okay but the pizza is amazing!!! Salad was good too
Be the first to ReplyDelicious and consistently good.
Bottomless mimosas for $20 on the weekend is amazing. The drinks actually taste good and aren't diluted with orange juice. My favorite dishes are the Cacio e Pepe, margarita pizza, linguini, and their panna cotta.
Be the first to ReplyOh super super good.
This is coming from a devout meat and cheese eater. The pizza is divine, the pasta superb, and the service wonderful. Really enjoyed the outdoor dining (great heaters) and would love to come again.
