Extremely expensive
I paid $14,37 for a small coffe and a regular smoked salmon toast that was so small (see picture) that it took me 4 seconds to eat it. We all know that NYC is very expensive but you guy are well beyond. When I paid the machine asked me if I wanted to add tip: for what? In a fast food service?
I can fortunately well afford a $15 breakfast but I want food in change, not a little creaker with just a vision of salmon and avocado.
Once again: is a matter of quantity.
Now I go somewhere else: Iโm hungry!!!
Poor service
Be prepared to wait 20 mins to get a simple sandwich and the attitude is pretty terrible. They really donโt care.
Be the first to ReplyFar too expensive, ridiculously small portions although good quality
I order a toast with avocado and salmon, and was expecting something of reasonable size. I paid almost 11$ at breakfast time but was badly surprised by the size extremely small. I was starving after !
Also, it is not acceptable that such a chain does not accept legal US currency
I complained to the company and got the only message 'sorry' !.
Sorry but I Recommend to avoid.
TOO EXPENSIVE!!!
First time here. Latte size is not big enough. Itโs just too expensive and small sizes. NEVER COMING AGAIN!
Be the first to ReplyCoffee should be served HOT
Went here for breakfast on our first morning in NYC. Mistake. It looked great from the outside, and the people were friendly enough. The avocado toast was tasty, but very expensive for what it was.
The biggest issue was with the coffee. It was not hot. Other customers complained and were met with a shrug of the shoulders and told thatโs how it is. Not good enough Iโm afraid. And there was no normal dairy milk on offer. If itโs a vegan place we missed that, but my husbandโs coffee with some nut โmilkโ was tepid and average and my black coffee was poor. Would not go back here. Too expensive for poor quality coffee.
I do not recommend this place.
Coffee?
I went here on Monday with a client. We ordered two coffees. HIs with a coconut extract, mine with cashew milk. I really just wanted skim milk, but went along with the limited odd choices of coffee enhancement offerings. After ten minutes or so of preparation in an advanced chemistry lab-type coffee machine, what came out was a lukewarm mud-like beverage. Cashew residue floated in suspension. I showed this to the cashier and said I thought the milk had curdled. Her answer, "What does curdle mean?" Dr Smood is the latest differentiator in a crowded healthy fast food industry. Avoid the coffee, it did not taste, smell, or look like the real thing. At almost $8.00 for two cups, it was completely disappointing. Add on another 20% for the minimum suggested tip, then it's a real steal...from you. Although we were the only people ordering, service was surly. No thank you, no smile. My suggestion, no return.
Be the first to ReplyNice big layout but pricey
Do order their allday breakfast combo which does not break the bank. Their coffee choices allows you to select different kind of alternative choices such as almond milk, oatmilk etc. super expensive coffee with slow service is the only reason earning three stars.
Be the first to ReplyFinally a healthy, fresh, organic, and delicious breakfast option
Healthy and delicious. No nonsense food, worth every dollar. I have to admit that personally I prefer regular dairy milk, but the decaf americano I went for instead was well made and tasted as it should.
