Duryea's Montauk Reviews from The Last Year
I will start with my party of 4 women arriving at 7 pm and
I will start with my party of 4 women arriving at 7 pm and the wait was an hour, totally fine... we loved the vibe, atmosphere, weren't starving, so went to bar and ordered an $85 bottle of wine....perfect start to our night. After 30 minutes our table was ready, great... an employee was gracious enough to snap some super cute pics of us with the sunset, and we were sat at our table...our server greeted us and explained that we just check off items in the clipboard menu and bring it up to the counter window to pay....hmmmm 2 of our group go up to said window and order is put into a IPad with a "forced tip" option. Being that 2 of us happen to be in the service industry, they tip 20% on a $400 check They come back, tell us this..seems weird, but whatever.... Food comes sporadically, literally dropped on the table.....our "server" that greeted us is not to be seen again...the menu states that we are charged $2/person for sparking and still water, but they do not even refill our glasses, just leave bottles on the table along with second bottle of $85 wine Now we are all confused at the end of our 3 course meal, because not one person has cleared our table, asked how anything was....but, somehow we were forced to "leave a tip" Had we have known this (which btw, should be stated somewhere) we would have just left some cash on the table for whoever management deems deserving of a gratuity. That being said.....extremely poor way of running an establishment. Beautiful location, atmosphere, vibe, food very good, not great....forgot to mention all kind of family style, which is fine....but a tad over priced. We live in NYC so have lots to compare this experience with. We probably would return, but knowing how things are run, would do things differently. All in all, pretty disappointed.... Did not like the entitled aspect of how things were managed
My favorite spot out east.
Come for the vibes. Get transported to the French Rivera. Food is pretty good but you are there for the music, setting and rose. We always get the lobster salad and the crudités along with a handful of other things. It never disappoints. Highlight of my summer year after year
A disgrace to the restaurant’s former self, the Hamptons’ East End and to restaurants in general. Limited ripoff menu.
A disgrace to the restaurant’s former self, the Hamptons’ East End and to restaurants in general. The ultra limited menu centered around “daily” fish that were not all local along with the hilarious joke poser clientele ruined this once great restaurant. Look at the menu before heading to the self proclaimed place where, allegedly now, “We’re all famous.”
LOVE it here! Awesome view and great concept.
Everything we ate was amazing and the service was good! Pricey but so worth it!

Duryeas, Montauk Follow me on insta for more reviews: @yourfavoritefoodguide Duryeas is a famous spot in Montauk or you can frequently catch celebrities dining during the summer it arguably has one of the best views of any restaurant in Montauk! The best time to go is definitely sunset where you can watch the beautiful views over the water when you sit down, you will fill out a piece of paper checking off everything that you would like to order. Then you bring it to the register and pay for everything at once and they will bring your food to your table We felt the portions were pretty big and the food was delicious overall. Definitely worth a try if you're coming into the area! Of course we love their lobster roll, It's a Montauk classic ! The portion was a great size and we felt they did give you a lot of lobster meat. There's nothing better than some lobster with butter on a toasted bun Their fries were another thing we loved and you definitely can't have a meal without them What we ordered: Calamari Lobster Roll Cheeseburger Have you been here?! #longisland #longislandeats #longislandfoodie #lifoodie #lifood #eeeeeats #foodandwine #foodies #tryitordiet #devourpower #eatfamous #brunch #lunch #dinner #dailyfoodfeed #eattheworld #cheatdayeats #cheatday #cheatmeal #delicious #foodieztm #foodiesinternationalchat #eatwithfoodiez#foodieexplorertribe #foodandbeverageonly

This is a five star establishment with outstanding food and classic outdoor ambience on a beautiful pier. We sat at the bar on the pier. There are very few restaurants in the USA that have this kind of venue, it is a special place. Go early, you will not be disappointed it's a short drive out of town with plenty of parking. We shared the Lobster Cobb salad. It's spendy at $97. Yes that's an eye popping price but it is worth every penny. The lettuce tasted like you just picked it out of the garden and look at the mountain of lobster!! This is lobster country, but it's also billionaire hedge fund country. Prices are high for everything, but you do "get what you pay for" at Duryeas. It's worth it and "as good as it gets", it's outstanding. Hard to believe, but two of us made it through this entire monster bowl. It's enough for 4 if you are having other dishes and having this as the side salad. The restaurant reminded us of great places we had dined in in Greece or Italy. You will be very happy you came to Duryeas. Next time we are in Montauk, we will be back!!
My girlfriend and I had a late night dinner at Duryea.
Many people recommended the restaurant and yes it was amazing. Also. The manager on his own came over to us and changed our table to face the water. The food was outstanding and the ambiance was amazing. We are definitely going back next time in the Hamptons.
The best water view restaurant in Montauk.
Excellent lobster rolls. Addictively good bread (ask for olive oil, salt and pepper. Easy ordering and quick service. Not a ton of shaded seating on a sunny late afternoon/early evening but if you arrive early enough (by 530) there are usually options. No reservations for groups of any size but if you arrive early (5-530) you can probably get 2 tables together. The only food disappointment is the clam chowder which is far too salty.
Amazing place to eat and enjoy the water and Montauk
Amazing place to eat and enjoy the water and Montauk scenery. Lobster salad and lobster rolls and the Tuna sandwich was amazing! Come hungry ...
I don't understand the complaints on price here.
Several of the appetizers are labeled that they are for 2-3 people and still the portions are absolutely massive. If you are coming here for a date you can easily split 1 salad and a side if you're still hungry for less than $100 total. We ordered the crudite as an app and ended up bringing back like 2 lbs of vegetables in leftovers that we snacked on for the next 2 days. We also got the lobster roll and baked clams which were all fantastic. I found the service to be great. We had Shea / Shay serve us and she was attentive and explained the ordering system. The $2 service charge is also labeled clearly on the menu and says that it is meant to serve the local community. Also Duryea's is an upscale and beautiful restaurant with a cute market, and has hospitality associated with it as well. The sticker shock of the pricing comes with the ambience and expectations of the food and quality, along with how many guests are with you. This isn't a crab shack in the middle of the high way. The views are phenomenal around sunset as well. I thought it was probably one of the better experiences dining out in the Hamptons.
Love Duryea's location, atmosphere food and staff.
Stays consistently good after years in business. Went with a large group on a Saturday night and had the best time. We sat right next to the water at a long table and had the wonderful salt breeze blowing cooling what would have been an incredibly hot evening. Drinks were good but it's the food that's the real hit. Mix it up and try everything not just the yummy Lobster roll !!
Such a cute place! I visited the hamptons this past summer
Such a cute place! I visited the hamptons this past summer and it was recommended for me to try this place. I absolutely loved it. I tried a couple different oysters and the Beausoleil were truly the best! Easily the best oysters I've ever had. The view is really nice as the restaurant is right on the dock. The service was also nice. Everyone was so friendly. Would definitely recommend to anyone in the area!
25th July 2023 we are here With Dr.
Hank Schmidt Definitely coming back Highly recommend
Friendly greeting and wonderful outside table.
Food was delicious and service was perfect. Great long lunch!

Thank you for the question, if a seller is working on answering your bid, you cannot cancel it until their time is up and the bid is released back to you. The full amount of funds then go back into your AT account. Typically a seller has 48-72 hours to complete the bid.
