Good choice
This place is located in the 4 Seasons. I was solo so I was able to find a quiet corner there, away from the bar. Their wine and liquor menu was excellent. The food menu was a little smaller than I would have liked, but the 1/2 chicken was truly outstanding.

I've had dinner here a couple of times, NV been disappointed. I've had th Wagyu (wow) n Branzino (yummy) - both were excellent. Mac n Chesse was chessy n w a crust, just th way I like it. Brussel sprouts were very good. Worth goin!

Dine there early, Damien guided me to its location. Lizzy (hostess), Cesar, and Lourdes. Gave me excellent service. I order “An American breakfast” my apologies if I got it wrong. The chorizo was spicy good, eggs fine texture, the square potato (that I thought was bread) tasted good. Chai tea latte (my ex German-American would drink that) brings back memories. I asked for permission to take pics. I don’t know when I will step foot there again. But I’m thankful for it. Nice Waterfalls, a waterfall in the pool area does look good. This visit is promise kept to my ex German-American gf. That I shall forever uphold.

Best food in Miami. We tried both fish and meat with a side of vegetables and Mac n cheese and were enthusiastic of every single dish brought to the table. Service is impeccable. You won’t get anything better than this in the city. Dining on the terrace is lovely.

The brunch at Edge on Sundays is amazing. Really tops. The set up, service, inside or outside, all very well done. The pics speak for themselves.
Be the first to ReplyTerrible food, and the service is even worse!
Don't eat here. The food awful, and the service is far worse. I'm not being hyperbolic. Reservation for 7pm. Ordered food with the appetizer, and while the appetizer came on time, the rest of the food arrived an hour and 40 minutes after we were sat. Our waiter vanished halfway through the meal. I had to flag him down to find out where it was. He said something happened in the kitchen but was vague about it. The manager arrived and explained the food was "a little" late - when we told her how long we'd be waiting she didn't seem to believe us, which was odd. She offered to bring us a glass of wine. We were billed for water (regular water with your meal runs you $11 at this restaurant... good thing we did not get a refill!) despite that was not disclosed on the menu. The food finally came out very poorly cooked and was clearly rushed. When I asked the waiter why, after such a long time, we had to pay full price and that we were billed for of all things, water, he quickly closed the cover on the bill with my card inside and said "he would take care of it" and ran off immediately. He took the price of the water off and ran my card for everything else without telling me - knocking the bill from $211 to $200. Really terrible experience and honestly a bit fraudulent. I think the worst part of the disinterested attitude from the manager about the whole situation. If you took the time to read this review, note that this restaurant was so exceptionally bad that I took the time to write the novel of a review instead of partying in Miami. I do this to warn you, lest my fate become yours - stay away from EDGE!
Be the first to ReplyGood choice if you are staying at the Four Seasons
I've been staying at the Four Seasons for years, and I always eat at EDGE at least once, so that tells you that this is a reliable and enjoyable place. The service is great, even if you are only sitting in the bar area. The hostess is nice, the waitstaff is awesome. The decor is nice enough. If you aren't staying at the hotel, I don't think it's worth a special visit, so I'll say that. My main quibble here is the cuts of steak are pretty limited. Most steakhouses offer a lot of choices. At Edge, they feature very expensive Wagyu cuts, which is fine, but I feel like they should have prime cuts of strip and ribeye and filet mignon, then offer Wagyu as an upgrade on some of those. That being said, I had eaten at steakhouses the past 2 nights, so I was sick of steak, and I ordered the fish here. The fish was excellent! The wine list is pretty good too. A decent selection, and not too outrageously priced. Our server was fantastic, really nice, friendly, professional, and made the entire dinner relaxing and enjoyable. So again, two thumbs up for EDGE, but please broaden your steak options! Also, please get rid of the battery powered candles, and use real wax candles. Thanks!

I was at the Beautiful Edgemiami restaurant @ The Four Seasons Miami with my wife. Ambiance & Food was AmaZing!!! What I did understand was how is possible on Saturday night at 9:20pm with only 3 tables seating inside of the restaurant, the waitress starting to remove all wine glasses from the table creating a lot of noise and all wine bottles which by the way give a beautiful and cozy decorations to the restaurant!! I asked very surprised why are you are removing the beautiful decorations of this restaurant and the answer was, we are getting ready for breakfast and I asked again but are you closing? I am feeling you’re pushing me out of the restaurant and Of course after that nobody come back to the table to check if we need anything else or a glass of wine or something else. Just at the very end my waitress asked me if I need anything else or just the check 😳 Hopefully the Four Seasons FB managers take serious my review
Be the first to ReplyMiami's premier steakhouse
The Edge, Steak & Bar, a deluxe steakhouse with a posh patio situated within the Four Seasons Hotel at 1435 Brickell Avenue in downtown Miami, Florida, is an indoor/outdoor venue in an art deco setting that lives up to its reputation as the city's premier steakhouse. During our three-day stay at the Four Seasons, my wife and I had an opportunity to enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner in the restaurant, which is open from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily. For breakfast, we had homestyle oatmeal with brown sugar, raisins, almonds and chilled milk, Eggs Benedict with Canadian bacon, potatoes, marinated tomatoes and hollandaise sauce and French toast with thick-cut brioche, honey nut granola, sausage and berries. For lunch, we had bowls of tomato and roasted eggplant soup, grills shrimp salad with quinoa and roasted corn salad, shaved fennel, tomato, greens and Meyer lemon dressing and an Edge burger with American beef, aged cheddar, house pickles and French fries. For dinner, we indulged in lobster bisque, shrimp cocktail, Caesar salad with little gem lettuce, crispy egg, fried capers and parmesan, a 6-ounce filet mignon with bearnaise sauce, truffle mashed potatoes and roasted carrots, a 10-ounce Wagyu New York strip steak with peppercorn sauce, truffle mashed potatoes and asparagus with shallot butter. For dessert, we shared pineapple jasmine sorbet and Miami cheesecake with strawberries, alfalfa ice cream and caramelized phyllo. We couldn't walk past the door without stopping to eat.

My husband and I recently went here for dinner while in Miami. Everyone was very friendly and our server, Trey, was fantastic. My mushroom tortellini appetizer was out of this world, and the grilled snapper and surf and turf were also delicious. Not to mention the best dessert menu I've seen in a long time. I would absolutely go back.
Be the first to ReplyNice long lunch on a rainy day
Enjoyed a long lunch here on a Monday so it was quiet which also meant decent and attentive service. We shared the half dozen roasted oysters and the four grass and truffle bon bons - the oysters were excellent - the bon bons nice but were more like simple deep fried pate. We also shared a Caesar salad which was average. For the mains the wagging churrasco was excellent and the cauliflower steak was a generous portion. The ice cream for dessert was also good. All in all a little pricey (but expected in a Four Seasons). The salad should really be more traditional and the bon bons could become perhaps foie grasp on toast instead.

My experience at Edge is so bad - if you have money burning a hole in your pocket - consider going to another place and making a donation to your favorite charity. We chose to have bunch here to celebrate a special occasion. For those not aware - this is a more expensive brunch option compared to other places. So we expected a relative good experience with food to match. We were promptly seated - the hostess was nice. We were placed in an overflow section of a private room with a large party - it was ok, sans the curtain retainer sticking into my back. While the initial drink order was promptly offered - it only went down hill from there. QUESTIONABLE HYGIENE- I ordered a Diet Coke, it was mistakenly brought to another table and put down. A few moments later - the same can of Coke and glass was offered to me. Really? This is acceptable at a Four Seasons? This is not the first - my mother ordered a turmeric and ginger shot - again, put down at another table and brought back over. At the very least - get a new glass. Once something is put down - don’t pick it back up again and give it to someone. Who know if the other guest has an ailment or sneezed on it? Who is managing this place to allow this to happen? We had to send these back - yuck! AWFUL SUB PAR service - I’m being nice. We complained a couple of times about the lack of service. We waited a long time to reorder drinks, have plates cleared, and even struggled to get utensils. I can’t believe I had to ask the hostess to get plates cleared. At best, the staff was disorganized and inattentive. It doesn’t seem like it was any one individual - rather, I believe it is a management issue as the people who tried to accommodate us did their best. We spent 3.5 hours at Edge - mainly awaiting drinks and basic tools to eat. Seriously - again, who is managing this place? I ended up eating my dessert with a knife as getting new utensils was a challenge. Current labor shortages is not an excuse that this location, and at the price point, can use as a crutch. Feels like the accountable people are asleep or have a lack of understanding of the hospitality industry. Add to that language barriers with customer facing staff. No guest should feel ignored. FOOD - the name is Edge Steak. They offered two types of steaks. The tomahawk was eagerly anticipated. But OMG - it sucks. Language barriers made it difficult to get the right temperature. And running out of sauce? Really? Both cuts lacked flavor and character - though finished on charcoal. I had a chat with the head chef from Sydney (a Four Seasons alum) who is nice enough - but he seemed to struggle with his coworkers doing the basics. The next thing is that the selection of foods was not robust - my favorite was the Caesar gems with real anchovies. We also had options to order a few things from a menu - the blue crab avocado toast was great. But good luck ordering with such poor service. However- the part I found disgusting is under cooked shrimps? WTF? The paella was served with under cooked shrimp - see pic. This shrimp does NOT appear to be sushi grade sweet shrimps. This can get people sick. How can any manager let this happen? This was an important celebration for us, while we made it work - I cannot justify this experience in any way and CANNOT - recommend this place by any stretch of the imagination. For those not familiar - Brunch cost $110, $145, or $245 depending on your beverage options. There is no way, at this price level, that any establishment can allow this type of experience. Where are the people in charge? Who is maintaining the standards? Worse - is this the standard? Is this the ‘Florida Man Four Seasons Experience?’ If my organization ran this way - I’d be embarrassed and on the warpath to make it right. I am flabbergasted that then Four Seasons would choose to operate this way. Stay away - there are better options without a curtain stay stabbing you in the back, staff ignoring you, or eating chewy steak and undercooked seafood whilst questioning if the establishment understands basic hygienic standards.

We were denied service by the bartender an hour before closing time. We were actually asked to leave by the bartender. The excuse was the bar was no longer serving even though other patrons were. We are a gay couple.
Be the first to ReplyVery good but could be better
I should say that we stay at the Four Seasons every time we go to Miami, and we always eat at EDGE once or twice. I always like the restaurant. The staff is 10/10, fantastic. The decor is modern, comparable for hotel restaurants. The food was excellent. The reasons I don't give it 5 stars are: First, they no longer offer a "regular" strip or ribeye steak option. Strip and ribeye are the most common cuts of steaks in steakhouses. Edge's new menu offers a filet mignon and a churrasco (skirt steak) for like $40-50, and the only options for strip or ribeye are "wagyu" from Australia, at prices around $100 for one steak. I mean, c'mon. They should have a regular strip and/or ribeye, and then a wagyu order if you are into that. As it stands, you have no option but to pay around $100 for a single steak if you want a strip or ribeye cut. I go to steakhouses all the time, and I've never been to a place that doesn't have a regular strip/ribeye option. It's crazy. Also...Australia? There are plenty of sources in the US, that I question why they need to import a $100 steak from the other side of the world. That being said, the steaks I had were delicious. Second, minor quibble...All the lights on the tables are those battery powered fake candles. That's the equivalent of having plastic ferns for decor in what is supposed to be a high end restaurant. For god's sake, I'll pay the extra 50 cents for a real wax candle on the table. Or, skip the fake candles altogether. They're so tacky. Use a battery powered LED lamp or something. Please ditch the faux flickering candles already. I'll close by saying that your staff is off the charts excellent. Everyone I interacted with was friendly, helpful, and charming. Thanks!

The food was excellent. Started with the Edge Wedge and the bacon was crazy good. Dinner was Wagyu Churrassco…..was excellent. Medium rare is the way to go. We ate outside, which I would recommend. I will definitely be back.

Be the first to ReplyA friend is in Miami for business
A friend is in Miami for business so I came down to meet him for dinner.
We went to Edge steakhouse in the Brickell area where he was staying.
Lately I have been bringing my own wine to restaurants. I have a nice collection and don’t drink at home so it just makes sense.
We sat down and the waiter seeing the bottles quickly brought us glasses. But we where left on out own to open. I like champagne so I brought a nice bottle. Easy to open. But more importantly since we where all wrestling fans I brought an Undertaker Cabernet. Each bottle is numbered on the back.
When you bring your own it shouldn’t be on the restaurant wine list and I don’t think any restaurant carries Undertaker wine.
I don’t mind paying the $35 corkage fee but the restaurant should know how to serve. Service was a little off but it’s Monday and we brought our own so the waiter kind of left us alone.
After 45 minutes I asked the waiter for a menu. They had QR code’s on the menu. So it looked so anti-social we where all on our phones trying to order.
The waiter did not do a good job telling us about the restaurant or the choices so we ordered the charcuterie and the oysters to get started.
The oysters where amazing. So good. The charcuterie was good, if you can appreciate that stuff. It’s all made in house.
I ordered the rib eye. Cause I like dry aged. It was delicious. Didn’t even need the $3 chimichuri sauce. I don’t get sauces on high end steaks.
Besides wine I like Diet Coke. I was actually wondering about the Diet Coke service earlier today. I like fountain soda with refills. I hate the little bottles. They used cans. I don’t know how I feel about that.
The restaurant was excellent. Didn’t have a miami vibe. But under covid and on a Monday
I don’t know if I expected any thing else.
Will be back.
Pleasant
Breakfast allowed for a team meeting and food was excellent.
Staff well trained
Dinner menu compact. Salads are well prepared and refreshing.
Excellent food and service
Excellent food and service in a beautiful setting. Went for the 3 course lunch special. Had the shrimp/corn croquettes, thechurassco and a delicate panacotta. Well worth it!
Be the first to ReplyExtremely Disappointing
We waited over 1 hour for our food. The steaks were of poor quality. They were all over cooked. Two had to be sent back TWICE and they still were not up to snuff. The other two were burnt instead of well done. Truly burned.
The service was awful. We had to ask for water 4 times. The food awful, of poor quality and I have been to steak houses all over the world.
It was a celebration and a special desert was asked for. The congratulations on the desert was forgotten. SO we reminded the waiter and so another desert was brought with congratulations on it. This occasion was supposed to be an engagement celebration. It was not a celebration at all, quite the opposite because of this restaurant!
so business like, yet casual and efficient!
Visited with colleagues and a client as a work-lunch meeting. Service was excellent. we were placed, upon request, in a quiet, private part of the restaurant. we were never once neglected. the wait staff was on par, on schedule and was just awesome. in addition, that is safely one of the best Delmonico steaks i have had in quite some it... if not ever. Done to my perfection!
kudos to you all!
