El Pastor Soho London Reviews from The Last Year
Food fine, service poor
Food and cocktails were enjoyable. However, service was poor. The waiter seemed to have no real understanding of the menu and did not engage with us and made our experience super awkward.
Great Mexican
We were looking for somewhere for a pre theatre meal, gong to see Moulin Rouge, came across this lovely Mexican. Great atmosphere, lovely decor. I chose steak quesadillas, my daughter chose the tacos, we also ordered the guacamole and nachos. The meal was lovely and we really enjoyed it, we had a drink as well. Not too expensive considering your in London, cost £57 for the two of us including tip. Would highly recommend, the staff were brilliant, very attentive.
Mexican Delight
We had a great Saturday lunch with friends. Service was excellent. Food was very special and would go again.. it’s pricy but worth it.
Sadly very disappointed
Really disappointed by our experience. Expensive, small portions and most of food was tepid and a couple of dishes were just plain boring. Waiting staff were impossible to hear as music too loud for their voices. Venue is aesthetically pleasing and great location but in our opinion not worth the £££z
Nice place for early evening Soho dinner
Came here for an early tea with friends on a Thursday evening, was pretty full early on so nice atmosphere although the ground floor room has high ceilings so felt a bit cavernous. Enjoyed the food, I took the quesadilla which was good and guacamole excellent. Margarita’s nice but at over £10 each and not that big, 6 later added to the bill quickly! Wine was nice too.
Ok but portions are small
Booked online and restaurant were accommodating about request for highchair and space for buggy. Warm friendly reception at the door and general atmosphere of the place has a good vibe. The food itself was tasty enough but all felt the portion sizes felt a bit small for the price, so didn’t feel like we were getting good value for money. But we were in Soho so is to be expected I guess!
Nice visit
Nice venue, outstanding service. Food and drink was good but could have been served hotter. Gringo enchiladas and chicken tacos.
A piece of Mexico in London
Good food and very close to Mexican, the sauces are well made, the pastor tacos and the guacamole taste good, we feel like we are in Mexico, the michelada is a little spicy but delicious, the margaritas are very delicious, the place is nice even though it is far away. half light, the attention and service was excellent, I recommend it
Delicious food and drink & great service
Excellent! We were lucky to be seated from a walk in, eat, drink and pay while still having 10 minutes to walk around the corner to the theatre - delicious Mexican food and an amazing virgin pina colada! Will definitely return.
los precios del menú son engañosos tengan cuidado.
. la comida no esta fresca, mis tacos estaban fríos y nada que ver con tacos al pastor de mexico, no volvería a comer en este lugar
I am Mexican from Mexico City, I have had tacos all my life.
I was warned that I may be disappointed for craving Mexican food in London, but I went to eat here anyway. In short, it was not a good experience. Salsas had vinegar in them (a red flag), Agua Fresca? tasted sour and the pineapple came from a can. The only Mexican flavor I tasted in my tacos came from chopped cilantro. Salsas tasted weird, and tortillas were not good quality, despite the fact that they were supposedly made with blue corn. Maybe it will take a while to get good ingredients in London for Mexican food. If you are craving spicy food, Indian food elsewhere is a better option than this. It was also overpriced.
Mexican excellent food!
I had a very good and fun time. I love the mexican food, knowing i live next door to a mexican restaurant at home. :) A very swift and efficient service and very friendly. I'm going back in september! greetings, Yves, Belgium
had the al pastor quesadilla which had a strange flavor.
the host wasn't overly kind and reminded us of our time limit even before seating us. wouldn't go back.

The site doesn't have resources to properly execute a reservation transfer. Some places allow it however the best bet is to open a chat on the listing from the seller and communicate there

Transferring reservations is not supported in AT. Why not just use the name in the AT screenshot?
