I stopped by this place because it was in walking distance from a property i was working at and was pleasantly suprised, some of the best pizza i’ve ever had. I dont normally like crust but this was outstanding, i got a pizza called good paulies. Malika the server was great. The place deserves to make it by the quality of the food and service. Stop by there.

We were so excited when the Atlanta location of Emmy Squared opened in our neighborhood. We've been 3 times now and were just not impressed. The first time was carry out and the pizza was SO greasy -- I mean, I do not have a fear of fat, but it was so greasy that the bottom of the box got grease all over my pants (in the car), on the counter. Ick! Second time, we dined on the patio -- great service, GREAT pizza, nice ambiance. But, the Huge Hot Chicken Salad was horrible. It's just not a good menu item and should be reworked -- too much lettuce, not enough toppings. Although, the piece of hot chicken was amazing! This final time we went to Emmy with friends was sort of the last straw for us. It was our first time dining in. The music was SO loud, you couldn't even hear yourself think. The restaurant was pretty much empty and we asked if they could turn it down just a bit and the server said they couldn't because they liked it to be "energetic". WTF? So, they did move us to a quieter table...right next to the bathroom. Our server was odd (may have just been having an "off" night?) -- he kept coming to the table to make weird conversation. He got our order wrong twice and wouldn't write anything down (this is totally a pet peeve of mine). And, the food was, again, very average. Pizza was good, but not great for the price. The kale salad was super simple and something I could easily make at home ($13?!?). The brussels sprouts salad was really good and inventive ingredients, but, again, pricey. The Caesar salad was very average. There are so many great restaurants, I think we've given this one a fair shake and won't be back.

We ordered the Garlic Bread Sticks with Marinara. Absolutely delicious! We expected the normal pizza dough topped with garlic. Nope! Description was not accurate. It was much, much more! Could've been a meatless meal. Flavorful and filling. There were 5 slices. The pizza arrives in squares atop a racked pan so it does not get soggy. The crust is on the thick side, crispy on the outside but soft on the inside. A good marriage! There are set named combos but you can add ingredients. A full bar is available with a variety of choices- impressive! Our server Jazmin was attentive and interactive but did not hover- I hope she stays. At 6 p.m. on a Wed it was not busy; but for those crowded nights, they do take reservations! There is indoor and patio seating. By nature of the preparation in pans at high heat, there is a little oil that escapes. If you have gastro issues, take a Nexium before you go- sometimes it's just worth it! Of course, there are other options for your dining pleasure also.
