This restaurant was an absolute delight.
Walking in the feeling of it just gives elegance. You walk over and there's a fresh seafood bar that you can pick what you want to eat for the night. Our server was amazing and so attentive to all of our needs. We ordered everything fresh. At the end of the night they even gave us a free dessert. This experience was nothing less than perfect. Can't wait to go back. It is a bit on the pricier side, so be aware. But the Milo special is a must must have!

Our dinner experience at Milos Restaurant with a party of five was nothing short of spectacular. We indulged in a seafood feast that left us all in awe, starting with the succulent langoustines and the perfectly prepared crab claws, each dish showcasing the freshness and quality of the ingredients. The highlight of our meal was a beautifully prepared Greek fish, cooked to perfection, embodying the essence of Mediterranean cuisine. The atmosphere at Milos provided the perfect backdrop for our intimate gathering, complemented by attentive and professional service that made us feel genuinely cared for. It's rare to find a place that combines such exquisite culinary offerings with an inviting ambiance and flawless service, but Milos manages to do just that. For those seeking an exceptional dining experience, Milos is a must-visit. It's not just a meal; it's a culinary journey that leaves you longing for your next visit.

From the moment we stepped into Milos Restaurant, we knew we were in for a treat. Our table for nine, encompassing both family and friends, was beautifully prepared, setting the stage for the incredible lunch that was to come. The ambiance at Milos is unparalleled; it strikes the perfect balance between elegance and comfort, making it an ideal setting for gatherings of all kinds. The attentive and courteous staff only enhanced this atmosphere, ensuring every detail was to our liking and that our experience was seamless from start to finish. As for the food, it was nothing short of exceptional. Each dish we ordered was a testament to the chef's expertise and commitment to quality. The ingredients were fresh, the flavors were rich and authentic, and the presentation was exquisite. It's clear that Milos takes pride in their culinary creations, and it certainly shows in every bite. What truly set this experience apart, however, was the overall perfection in every aspect of our visit. It's rare to find a place that exceeds expectations in ambiance, service, and culinary excellence, but Milos did just that. It was a lunch that none of us will soon forget, and we're already looking forward to our next visit. For anyone considering dining at Milos, expect nothing but the best. Whether for a family gathering, a lunch with friends, or any special occasion, this restaurant is sure to impress. We can't recommend it highly enough!
Be the first to ReplyHad brunch before a matinee at adjacent City Center.
(Actually Estatorio Milos no longer offers a price fixe brunch, so be prepared to pay full fare from the a-la-carte dinner menu). Nice open feel to the dining room, with high ceilings and judiciously placed dramatic floral arrangements. I had never tried Greek chardonnay before, so enjoyed a glass of Gerovassilou Epanomi which was a lovely golden fruit forward wine. Dips were yummy but accompanying pita bread was sparse, so we made do with the toasted bread that came gratis. We shared the lobster pasta for two, a large platter of perfectly cooked linguine bathed in a rich tomatoey, lobster-laden sauce. If you like lobster this dish is highly recommended, in fact it was among the best meals I've enjoyed over my long gluttonous culinary history. We were thinking of ordering dessert but the place was getting crowded and our server was MIA so we skipped it. Loved the food but given their "foodflation" pricing I probably won't be back for a little bit.

Last night I went to dinner here, sat at table 3, and waiter "Dimitri " took care of us. After my daughter landed at JFK after an 8 hr flight she was looking forward to eating a HOT MEAL. She is VEGAN . On the menu there aren't really a lot of options that are a HOT MEAL for someone to eat as a VEGAN. She proceeded to order food from a vegan restaurant. At that time , when our server saw her with a Vegan pizza , he in not a very kind way told her she couldn't eat . NOT a pleasant experience when you cannot provide a vegan option other than fries as a hot meal
Be the first to ReplyThe food is always excellent here.
The service is also great. I love the greek salad and I usually get the catch of the day. I think the lunch menu here is great and they give large portions. The ambiance is always good filled with locals. There are so many greak greek med. spots now that its hard to compete. I think this is the best you will get in the city but its more pricey then most greek spots.

Open space, elegant, bunch of stuffy power suits but the hospitality is pleasant and the food is delicious, clean and feels healthy. Server dropped a greased knife on my jacket annoying me very much but has nothing to do with the food. I only mentioned this to get an extra sentence in. Bye.
Be the first to ReplyWow! Great food and the atmosphere is top-notch.
Had a large group downstairs. Only issue is noise. Every time someone came into the room, we were next to the kitchen hallway. Really loud and had to keep closing the door. Not sure I would recommend using that room again. But the dining experience was terrific.
Be the first to ReplyIt's beautiful.
Fish was amazing! The sides were lacking. I have had better over in astoria, queens.

We arrived on a Saturday for an early lunch, The restaurant was not crowded. We asked for a quiet table. The hostess took us to a table next to one of the few occupied tables in the room. WTF. I know there is a shortage of help, but how about training the ones you have, The concept of a quiet table should not be difficult. I work across the street and have been coming here for years, I have watched the portions get smaller and prices get higher.
Be the first to ReplyMilos has become my favorite restaurant ever.
We have gotten to the point where we are now stopping by once a week due to how delicious everything is on their menu. Our favorite appetizers are the zucchini chips as well as the salmon and tuna sashimi. The scallops are to die for so they are definitely my favorite entree. My hubby loves the lobster and spaghetti and our daughter loves eating the salt crusted Bronzino. We have to invite a fourth to the dinner to order the Bronzino though because it requires a party of four to order. Nice part of picking out the entree is that you get to walk to the ice section by the cooks to choose your seafood. Hubby always has fun walking to the ice to pick out what we are eating. Not sure if he's more excited about that or actually the cheesecake at the end of the meal though because he scarfs that down. Our daughter has to get her own too because she loves it just as much. We have also ordered fruit plate and noticed how their fruit tastes exquisitely better than the fruit we get at the supermarket somehow. I asked why as wasn't surprised when they informed me that many items including the fruit is imported from Greece. HIGHLY recommend this location to anyone looking for quality over quantity.

I want to start by clearing my name and saying first that it was not my choice to dine at a four dollar sign, white table cloth, seafood restaurant in Midtown West. The person who chose it is kind, and chose it with my pescatarian diet in mind, but it's giving expense account in a way that I do not give expense account. That being said, I still approached the meal with some excitement, as I do love fresh seafood and the $$$$ entrees are well above the threshold for what I usually spend on my entrees, so I was hoping for special treatment and expert chefing. They have the day's catch laid out on ice in the back, and we got up to choose a rather large white dish that was then grilled with a bit of lemon and seasoning. My dish came out so dry and flavorless that no amount of butter and lemon could save.Their extensive wine and champagne list saved the day, as I enjoyed a dry riesling and a glass of champagne to celebrate a milestone at work. I'm grateful to have had the opportunity to dine here but I found the experience wholly forgettable.

We had an 8:00 pm reservation we arrive at 7:55 pm stood in a crowded lobby for over 40 minutes waiting waiting and more waiting. Why make a reservation if you are not going to be seated. Buyer beware I will never go BACK. Choose another restaurant if you want to be seated timely.
Be the first to ReplyLove this place!!!! Belgian oesetra with blinis to start.
Small fish sashimi ( I don't know which one) but could'nt grill or it would dry out.....omg. So good. Just olive oil and salt on one side. The other lime and Fresno peppers and tobiko.... Dinner of a lifetime
Be the first to ReplyThe place was packed but we had reservations.
It went smoothly! We ordered the grilled octopus the tomato salad the salt baked fish and wine of course. The food was fantastic! I don't know how I won't order the octopus every time I'm there! The service impecable. Always water and wine in our glasses, always! It's expensive but expected this is NYC!

Tomato cucumber salad, zucchini chips , saganaki, grilled octopus followed by red snapper and broccoli. YUM!Bam! That's my review. Not to mention the waiter walked me to pick my fish from the ice display. So unique experience. Midtown. Great location.

Be the first to ReplyPerfect ambiance for a group dinner in one of NY's fanciest
Perfect ambiance for a group dinner in one of NY's fanciest Greek restaurants. The food is perfect for sharing, so come with a large appetite with a number of people and you'll be a happy camper. We shared a bunch of appetizers, which I will order from best to worst:- Octopus: charcoal broiled to perfection, perfectly meaty on the inside and has no rubbery texture. This dish is amazing and is a must if you come here- Salmon Sashimi: buttery texture, thinly sliced, just melts in your mouth without any effort- Tuna Sashimi: meaty texture and hearty flavor, has a wasabi garnish on top, delicious- Milos Special: these thinly sliced and fried eggplants and zucchinis stacked up have a photo-worthy quality to them. Comes with the tzatziki dip, which goes so well with the veggies- Tomato salad: the winner is the feta cheese here, which is tangy, salty, thick, and perfectly creamy in flavor. The tomatoes were also tasty. The purple onions were rather thickly sliced here, but you can't go with this traditional Greek salad- The Greek spread: the tzatziki made another entrance here as one of the 3 dips. The second was roasted red pepper spread and we got the hummus as the third. My favorite was the roasted red pepper but all dips were blended and very creamy, going well with the pita and house breads they offered- Fried calamari: deep fried thick cuts of calamari rings and heads were delicious, but standard affairI got the filet mignon as my main dish and although the quality of the cut of meat was perfect, it was not well prepared and was overcooked. The steak was so over-salted on the outer layer that I had to cut away some of it. I asked for my steak medium, but it was medium well done. The Greek fried potatoes were tasty though. They would have gone so well with the feta from the tomato salad, had I not devoured the white cheese in a rush just moments before. Oh well. I had one of their house cocktails with The Botanist (one of my favorite gin brands), lime juice, and cucumbers, which was standard affair and definitely not strong. I was surprised by such a fancy restaurant having only a handful of cocktail options, each pretty generic. I soon after decided to switch to wine, which ended up being the wise choice: the Cabernet Sauvignon I had with my steak was delicious. We tried 4 desserts and the cheesecake was a clear winner with the chocolate mousse cake the runner up. Unfortunately, neither karydopita (spiced walnut cake) nor the baklava, the 2 classic Greek desserts on the menu, hit a home run for us. Both were quite dry and lacked that honey syrup sweetness. All in all, glad to have experienced this place and would be happy to come back again.
Be the first to ReplyHaven't been here for years and were pleasantly surprised.
We were 4 people and were seated downstairs having been told it's quieter. It wasn't. Eat upstairs. Food is very good and waiters extremely well trained. They are trained to up-sell and they do that in the nicest way. As we are sophisticated diners, they can't get away with that with us. That said, they try..........but in the nicest way.

Be the first to ReplyMy friend and I came here for Restaurant Week and we both
My friend and I came here for Restaurant Week and we both had a really positive experience. It was super nice that they also offered the restaurant week deals on Saturdays and Sundays since most participating restaurants only do Mondays to Fridays. They also provided delicious warm bread as you wait for your dishes which was really nice. I ended up ordering the following: -Octopus: the octopus was so delicious and nicely made. The hummus-like side that comes with it was also really good -Whole grilled fish of the day: I like how the grilled fish was lightly seasoned and cut open in a neat way. It was also really fresh and grilled to the perfect texture. -Karydopita (walnut cake with honey lavender ice cream): I wasn't the biggest fan of this dessert because the walnut cake had some liquid to it that I can't tell if it's oil or water. It was still cool to try though. This was overall a really nice fine dining experience with the elevated ambiance that's different from other dining spots. The waiters are really patient and helpful in answering our questions to ensure that we end up selecting an item that would suit our likings.
Be the first to ReplyRestaurant week review.
The restaurant week experience was great due to the food and service... definitely one of the better restaurant weeks that I've done in NYC. Will be adding this place to the rotation. I selected:Oysters to start. These tasted really fresh, and came with a nice sauce that complimented them well. I'm surprised that they included 6 oystersFish of the day for a main. This was delicious, and cooked perfectly. Generous portion. Desert (macademia cake) was my least favorite course, as it was overly sweet. Should've ordered a coffee to combat the sweetnessWe also ordered an octopus main to share. This was delicious. It came with hummus and onions on the side: I didn't think this was the best combo, but the octopus itself cooked wellThe service was excellent and very friendly.

Service was excellent and everyone is so nice. Highly recommend the octopus and salmon sashimi!
Be the first to ReplySnobby does not begin to describe this place! I came here
Snobby does not begin to describe this place! I came here with an ex who wanted to treat me to a romantic dinner. The hostess checked us in and asked if we were in their reservation system and had we dined with them before. We answered no, and she pursed her lips, and proceeded to walk us through the gorgeous, elegant dining room, to the smallest, darkest table all the way in the back in a cramped corner. We shrugged it off and decided to try and have a nice night. We looked at the menu and we are huge seafood lovers and wanted to try one of the entrees. A lot of the whole fish and other options are the fish names but in another language (Tsipoura, Fagri, Rofos, Cherna, Loup de Mer) so I asked the waiter about it. I said I am quite familiar with different types of seafood but these names do not sound familiar to me. He replied in a sarcastic tone, "these are fish? you don't know your fish?" I was so embarrassed after that. He did not go through the different types of the menu for us like all the other reviews mentioned. Rude and curt! We ended up getting the small lobsters, similar to a langostine, and afterward, I got the worst food poisoning of my life! I was throwing up for hours and was sick for the next two days. I am never, ever returning.
Be the first to ReplyWent for the prix fixe lunch and it was a ripoff.
Portions so small that I had to get a sandwich afterwards. Total cost per person for a cup of soup, some grilled veggies, a golf ball sized yogurt dessert and coffee was $77.
