i think for how expensive the dishes are i feel like i was expecting more. the chef special dishes that are intended for sharing avg around $40. overall a fun ambiance, dishes were all pretty good, with a unique take on conventional thai (the blue rice!!) but the markup on the dishes was a bit wild imo some standouts are the kao soi, hat yai fried chicken
Be the first to ReplyThis place was truly horrible.
None of the dishes had any flavor and everything was just coated in an overwhelmingly THICK layer of batter. The chicken was super dry and the rice didn't taste like anything. This isn't Thai food at all. It was just super heavy fried food. We tried three dishes and nothing was good. Each dish was roughly $40 as well so quite expensive for such bland food . It's all just for the gimmick DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY. If you're a foodie this place isn't for you. If you're interested in aesthetic and cool looking drinks then this is your place. So disappointing. I would give 0 stars if it would let me.
Be the first to ReplyGood food, but my expectations were not met.
Great presentation, but I wasn't wow'd by the flavor/taste. The service was poor. We sat outside as they weren't hosting anyone inside that day.
Be the first to ReplyFood: got the fried chicken with Thai tea.
Chicken was crispy and everything was seasoned well. Service: alert and quick Ambiance: funky and colorful Cost: ~$50 Parking: might have to find parking a block or two away Overall: always down to go here

i came here on a friday night with a group of 10 for a birthday dinner. my overall impression of this place is that it's a little excessive. when i first walked in, there was some sensory overload as the interior is just so colorful and decorated. everything from the decor to the plates to the napkins is very pretty, but it can feel a little gimmicky. we were seated in a semi-private section in the back. there were 2 large tables there so you could seat 2 large groups. our table felt a little small for the number of people - there were 2 seats on each end, and there was barely enough room on the table for all the dishes and utensils. we scanned a QR code to see the menu and i was a little overwhelmed by the length of it - it was 17 pages long. not that there are even a lot of things on the menu - a lot of the pages only have one dish on them. i was also shocked by the prices of the "special" items (which start at $35), especially when compared to the street food ($18, which is comparable to other thai restaurants). the portions are larger than average though, which somewhat makes up for the high prices. i shared the herbal rice salad (which someone said looked like cap'n crunch lol) and got the pad thai with chicken for myself, and both were pretty good. around 5 of us shared the social butterfly drink, which comes in a goblet-looking container. we had some difficulty finishing it, although i think that was because none of us were particularly interested in having a lot of it. the bathroom is also a notable part of the dining experience. my friend needed to use the bathroom and after seeing the inside immediately came back to get her phone to take pictures. it's as well-decorated as the rest of the restaurant, and there's even a bathtub surrounded with roses. there's also 2 sinks even though there's one toilet (i'm not sure why). overall, definitely a unique dining experience that can feel a little excessive.
Be the first to ReplyI wanted to love this place but it's very average.
The papaya salad has a great taste to it but for $16 I was expecting a decent bit of papaya salad and instead 1/3 of the dish was mixed greens at the bottom. I have never been served mixed greens as part of a papaya salad and can only conclude they do this to save money and decrease the portion size of the salad. Fried rice, as many other reviewers have noted, was pretty terrible. Very mushy rice (overcooked), and absolutely flavorless. On the upside, service was very pleasant and efficient, and the green curry chicken was really special. I used some green curry chicken sauce on top of my fried rice which is the only reason I was able to complete my meal. Overall, this place is quite expensive for casual Thai food and I did not find the food quality to match.

This place is mediocre at best - I'm honestly not sure why it's such a scene...My 9 Y. O. daughter left hungry because the chicken noodle soup was essentially one giant dry noodle, the oxtail curry was insultingly substandard (tough, very little meat and OUTRAGEOUSLY expensive), and the fried rolls were beat (a faint bathroom taste on my first bite...yummy...). The tom yum was good and also the beer (Almanac)...and they clearly put a lot of effort into the decor...too bad I don't go to restaurants based on how they look inside. Happy Birthday me! TBH places like this are why I don't try new places and why I don't like going to dinner on my birthday. On top of that my daughter was really upset that my birthday was "ruined". Thanks, Farmhouse - for a genuinely mediocre, albeit extremely expensive, experience on my birthday! Yikes...so shambolic I even refused to use the bathroom...

Food favorites: pad see you (super flavorful and delicious flat noodle texture), volcano noodles (great spicy kick and fun presentation), Golden Hour cocktail from the cocktail flight (the peach simple syrup added such a bright and airy flavor to the whiskey base) Service: quick, friendly Vibes: authentic thai food meets brunch and floral designs
Be the first to ReplyGreat Thai food with amazing service.
This place is good for groups, birthdays, or just a casual date. Their specials can get super fun and creative just like their festive decor.

I have never had a bad experience at Farmhouse, whether it was the meal or the service. My wife and I went there for our 30th anniversary and the meal was wonderful. I had the amazing beef rib and she had the chicken.
Be the first to ReplyI ordered take out.
The Chicken Pad Thai was okay since I requested no salt. The portion was slightly smaller than expected. I will try something different on the menu next time.
Be the first to ReplyPricey but very flavorful.
Pad king prik, chicken wings, samosa, and stir fry eggplant were stand outs!
Be the first to ReplyFood was good.
Good presentation on the food but portion sizes are small for the price you're paying. I say maybe on celebration only if you want something special that day, otherwise, don't think I'll pay $30 for a small dish I can total make at home. Customer services were awesome. Very nice people.
Be the first to ReplyThe food was so delicious.
I loved the customer service. Our server was very helpful when we had questions about the entrees. I chose a breve dish and it was a lot! The Thai iced tea was so refreshing. I wanted another.

I would maybe recommend this place to try it once for the experience. There is always a long wait to get in unless you reserve way ahead of time because of how popular it is. The space is not very large. The food is pretty good though. If you want good Thai food you should come here. Anything on the menu is a good pick. Aside from their ig worthiness though, the price point is very hard to swallow if you want to come here. The service is really good though and there are usually big parties and gatherings. The atmosphere is usually lively.Overall I would say it is a great place to try but hard to justify coming here for what is being offered. You should try once just to see for yourself.
Be the first to ReplyKids wanted Thai so we decided to go give this Thai
Kids wanted Thai so we decided to go give this Thai restaurant a try since it was highly rated. Parking is on the street only so it took us 20 mins to find a parking spot. Customer service was great though. We got seated right away for 6 people and it was at 5:30ish. We ordered kids noodle dish which was ok. A little on the sweeter side for my son. Then my girls and I ordered 1) crab fried rice...it was ok 2) yellow curry..my daughters said it was a little greasy and doesn't taste like yellow curry 3) kao sao noodle...it was not good. It needed more soup it was too dry and too sweet for me.
Be the first to ReplyThe ambiance were the best part of this place.
Staff and service were so kind and helpful. Loved the creativity of the menu and dedicating and the food was pretty good too.

Tasty food and fun experience! I've been to Farmhouse Kitchen Thai quite a few times, most recently I came here with a large group of 8 people. We ordered a lot of large sharing plates. Some of my favourites are the FH Fresh Rolls, Neua Num Tok Rolls, and Hat Yai Fried Chicken. The portions are fairly big, so I recommend ordering a few dishes and share them family style.

Excellent food, ambiance, and customer service!!! Highly recommend SAM'S we will definitely be going back!!!!
Be the first to ReplyGreat everything.
My son had a hair in his food. They changed it, they gave him dessert for free and 10% off the check. There was no parking anywhere close by the restaurant but it is worth it. We eat outside and servers were very attentive to our needs. It was not raining but it was very cold. I suggest you try it because it is a great place to be. Good people, good food and good ambiance.
Be the first to ReplyFood was way too sweet.
Service was nice and servers were pleasant, but for the price and taste of the food we will not be back.

Farmhouse Kitchen is a modern Thai restaurant with unique cocktails and food presentations! I came here yesterday and had a good experience. The place was packed at 2pm, so I'd recommend making a reservation. We ordered the pad see ew and the whole branzino. The pad see ew was pretty good, but I thought it was overpriced for the portion size. It was $18.95 for a standard portion, and you'd have to pay extra $3-4 if you want meat added. We also ordered the whole branzino which came in a cool presentation with a fire under the plate. It came with a lot of veggies and sauce too. I did think this was also a little pricey for the portion, as we've had bigger whole fishes at other restaurants for cheaper. Overall I think this is a cool and cute Thai restaurant, but it can get expensive. Good place to try though!

Been wanting to come here for so long, and finally dined for dinner. Definitely just OK. Prices were very high, and not all elements of the meal were up to par for us.Atmosphere: fun, lively decorations. Has a photo wall with a ring light which was a fun touch. However, it was just too dark, wished there was more light to match the colorful atmosphere. Appetizers: -Fh Fresh Rolls: loved it! The rice paper was so soft & the peanut sauce was great. Everything was fresh. -Calamari: crispy and tasty. Comes with a spicy sauce that has a kick of fish sauce to it. Entrees: - Hat Yai Fried Chicken: 3/5. Chicken & breading was dry bland. Lacked flavor. The breading also flaked off the plain chicken easily. Not impressed. The curry and roti that is was paired with was tasty. Wouldn't order again. - Pad Thai: 3/5. Too sweet for me. Flavor was good, but how sweet it was overpowered it for me. - Hour Beef Soup: 4/5. Such a rich, decadent flavor. We shared it among the 4 of us, otherwise this would be too rich to finish on its own. I've had many beef soups, and this probably our favorite dish of the night.
Be the first to ReplyVery well located, friendly staff and good flavors.
Restaurant is a bit narrow but it's definitely part of the charm. We had Fun Blue Rice and the Pad Thai , and then the green curry with rice. We ordered it spicy , but I guess they didn't believe us about our spicy tolerance. It's fine. We were full with that , so don't get too excited ordering because portions are of a decent size.
