i came here on a friday night with a group of 10 for a birthday dinner. my overall impression of this place is that it's a little excessive. when i first walked in, there was some sensory overload as the interior is just so colorful and decorated. everything from the decor to the plates to the napkins is very pretty, but it can feel a little gimmicky. we were seated in a semi-private section in the back. there were 2 large tables there so you could seat 2 large groups. our table felt a little small for the number of people - there were 2 seats on each end, and there was barely enough room on the table for all the dishes and utensils. we scanned a QR code to see the menu and i was a little overwhelmed by the length of it - it was 17 pages long. not that there are even a lot of things on the menu - a lot of the pages only have one dish on them. i was also shocked by the prices of the "special" items (which start at $35), especially when compared to the street food ($18, which is comparable to other thai restaurants). the portions are larger than average though, which somewhat makes up for the high prices. i shared the herbal rice salad (which someone said looked like cap'n crunch lol) and got the pad thai with chicken for myself, and both were pretty good. around 5 of us shared the social butterfly drink, which comes in a goblet-looking container. we had some difficulty finishing it, although i think that was because none of us were particularly interested in having a lot of it. the bathroom is also a notable part of the dining experience. my friend needed to use the bathroom and after seeing the inside immediately came back to get her phone to take pictures. it's as well-decorated as the rest of the restaurant, and there's even a bathtub surrounded with roses. there's also 2 sinks even though there's one toilet (i'm not sure why). overall, definitely a unique dining experience that can feel a little excessive.
