Double charges after visiting Father office: lacks ethical handling over PERSONAL DEBIT/ Credit card transactions
I SHARDAY Anyadiegwu recently made a visit to Father Office on 12/08/2022 with a friend named Dmitry, and my total bill including a tips was $ 85.64. I purchased a offices burger for $19.00 and fries for $ 8.00 I also had two New York drinks that total $32.00 and then I order my friend a another beer called Allagash White for $9.00. My first visit to Father Office was wonderful. Food was good and bar was clean and customers service was fast and nice. However, upon checking my bank account on 12/11/2022 I was disgusted to find another charge from Father office, keep in mind I have not returned back since my first visit on 12/08/2022. Upon checking my account on 12/11/2022 I was charged a total of $56.07 and I have no clue why. So no I would not recommend Father office because Father office seem to have a issue with double charging customers, which is perceived as a issues with handling confidential information such as debit/credit card transactions. I recommend that Father Office need a Kleanification in accounting and customer should check their bank account for double charges from Father Office.
Be the first to ReplyAs good as ever!
Good to know that the food is as good as ever! The beer and wine are consistently among the best offerings. Itโs been way too long since our last visit and was so great to order the best burger and sweet potato fries in town!

Does only one type of burger, but it's great! Available several types of draft beers. All orders are made in the bar which means no waitress available at any given time.
Be the first to ReplyGreat Good at Helms Bakery
This place is located in the former Helms Bakery facility, which has a lot of fond memories for those of us native Angelenos of a certain age.
Great food choices and a ton of wine and beer options. There is a nice outdoor eating area to enjoy the weather as well.
Burger & Beers
Stopped in on a Thursday evening for dinner and were pleasantly surprised by the wide variety of beers they served. The menu was not extensive but the burger was superb. You order at the bar and a server will bring the food to your table. You pick up the beers yourself after ordering. Great venue...a few TVs...and ample parking. It was a wonderful stop in the old Helms Buidling.

They have a very unusual and unique gourmet burger. The sweet potatoes fries are great. They always have a wide selection of interesting micro brews on tap.
Be the first to Replygreat burger place in the heart of culver city
this is a really good and simple burger place in the heart of culver city. it is very simple with 2 to 4 top tables inside and several large communal tables outside. you order from one of the registers at the bar, take a number and then your order is brought to you when ready. the food comes as is...there are non deletions or substitutions at all. the burger comes only the way it is listed on the menu. you only select the temperature of the burger. and if you want ketchup on your burger or for your fries..good luck. this time i came prepared and brought my own ketchup packets...their fries are so good you need ketchup to fully enjoy them. the beer selection is incredible. a beer for every pallet imaginable. this is the perfect low key place for lunch or dinner. stop by for a burger then take a stroll and look at the many cool shops that surround the place.

NOT a restaurant
This place is not a restaurant. A restaurant has someone who welcomes you when you arrive and shows you to a table. This place has a buffoon at the door who tells you that it is "free seating", which means that you have to find your own table and elbow other potential takers out of the way to sit at it, as the establishment refuses to take the responsibility of noting in what order customers arrive.
A restaurant has serving staff, who take your order and periodically make sure that you are enjoying the food. At this place you have to order your food at the bar (a fact that the buffoon at the entrance failed to mention, so when we finally got a table we sat there for 20 minutes without menus, being studiously ignored by the staff).
A restaurant will ask you how you want your food, and will be happy to adapt a dish to avoid poisoning customers with allergies. At this place, they refuse to even remove the onions from a burger. My wife, who is allergic to onions, was told that the only dishes on their menu that would be safe for her to eat would be the salad and the mushrooms. Needless to say we left, and we will never be coming back.
No, this place is not a restaurant. It is a raucous bar peddling ludicrously overpriced beers, with a dictator in the kitchen (or nothing but a range of microwaves warming up vacuum-packed meals).
If you want to dine in any comfort, steer well clear.
This Place is a Joke
I notice that back in 2015 this restaurant had a Certificate of Excellence. The only way they could get one now is if the certificates are for sale. This is--hands down--the worst restaurant I've been to IN THE WORLD. The only people we saw here were drinkers who were into beer and trendiness. Sad. People who have to frequent a place like this... What can I say? Food that clearly comes out of a plastic bag and is microwaved or thrown together in the kitchen [why else do they not allow you to leave the cheese off your burger?] and a service staff that is nonexistent because, like McDonalds, you stand in line to pay for your food before you get it. Why? If they had you pay AFTER eating--like any decent restaurant--you might refuse because of the quality!! I don't write many reviews, and most of mine are for very good places... but had to save people from making the mistake of darkening the door of this pathetic excuse for a restaurant.
Be the first to ReplyDisappointing....despite solid food
Start with the good...the food I had was solid (nothing incredible) ....albeit a bit overpriced. The real problem was the environment (loud music/noise during lunch) and their absurd policy of not accommodating changes to dishes even for allergies...one member of our party was left with almost nothing to eat since they refused to even leave items like arugula or sauces off of items. I understand being proud of your recipes...another to leave millions of people with allergies unable to dine with friends. Also if youre going to do that....at least have better food.
Be the first to ReplyDisgusting, rude and intolerable staff
I had heard this place was renowned for their burger, so I was excited to try it. I asked for no cheese (Iโm intolerant) but was told it wasnโt possible. I accepted that and asked for it to be well done, which I was told could happen. The burger turned up raw and covered in cheese. I complained that the burger was bright red and the lady who served me said she would change it. When I asked whether it was possible to not have the cheese this time, as I was going to be eating much later than my friends, as the burger had to be recooked (and I had spent 15 minutes trying to remove the cheese off the original burger), I got told that it wasnโt possible and that she didnโt have to give me a burger at all. I said I would like the burger but could I at least have it cooked this time? 20 minutes later the burger did arrive, still raw and absolutely smothered in cheese. Wonโt be coming here again...

Excellent burger and a nice beer selection. Enjoyed the ambiance of a Fri afternoon and excellent special grind burger. Cooked to perfection too.
Look forward to the return visit.
