Good food but Expect a long wait!!
The location of this food outlet is very pleasant, breezy with fresh air all around, a very safe dining place during the pandemic. There can be a long queue during lunch time- we were early, but there were already many orders placed ahead of us. We had to wait for almost an hour for our dishes to arrive- many persons had ordered 8-10 packets for take-away. The fish Lor Mee I had was good and well balanced. But to have to wait so long for the food to arrive, can be a huge deterrent.

So much praise for this lor mee till I try it. The gravy is too watery and lacks flavour and does not have the intense flavour that you will expect from lor mee. The fish meat does not add any taste or texture to the dish. The fried meatball is not bad, overall the main let down is the gravy.

Come all the way here and Long q during lunch time, not so worth my time actually. However the q clear pretty quick and spend probably 20 mins for 10 pax person q. The lor mee nothing special compare to many lor mee I have eaten. The broth is kind of blend and less flavourful. The meat ball was tasty and the chili paste could have added more. I added more vinegar so to taste better. The $4 bowl kind of expensive with added of few pieces of fish meat.. nothing special and so chose the standard lor mee would do.

I am quite picky on eating Lor Mee so was good to find another that adds to my favourites list. You can order the normal at $3 or with fish at $3.50. Queue will be long but becoz they have 3 persons manning the stall, the flow is quite fast.

Take a bus no 240 or 246 from Boon Lay Terminal and alight at the bus stop near the Taman Jurong Market and Food Centre. On L1 is the market. On L2 and L3 are food stalls and on L4 is the carpark. This food centre has been around for about 50 years and over the years it was renovated several times. There are about 100 food stalls and you can get cheap food at this centre. There are escalators and lifts for the elderly and those who are infirm. The Feng Zhen Lor mee is well known and the bowl of mee comes with pork slices, salted fish slices, ngoh hiang, garlic, chilly and vinegar. The gravy is thick and you get good value for your money. There are other good stalls like the Ye Lai Xiang fruit juice and Ngoh hiang and curry mee. You have a wide choice of food and the price is cheap.

Generous topping for the lor mee, love the fried meat balls so much. Always order ala carte for plate of meat ball.

This Lor Mee located at 3level of Taman Jurong Market and Hawker Center, up the escalator you could see the stall.
Before the stall shoot by the TV program it already famous, after the show the queue become longer and longer.
Please do not come on Sunday if not you will disappointed, as it will be closing on Sunday.
Oh ya, recently(Mar 2017) they open another stall in clementi, the actual location you may want to find out from them......
Have a try if you are here...
Ate this once a week
This is the only Lor Mee that I'd eat once a week. Go for $3.50 version with fish meat added in :)! The gravy is just right and fried meat balls taste great for a mere $3.50

The food is great. Salted fish is added to the mee and the gravy is thick and tasty. There is always a long queue of diners waiting to buy their food. The price is $3.00 and you get value for your money.
