This has been in my Yelp collection to try for a long time and we finally got reservations on a Saturday night. The secret to getting these is making the reservation just past midnight two weeks before (which would be early Sunday morning for a Saturday night).Ricotta appetizer: 5/5. Very light ricotta with a small dab of honey went delightfully with the bread. It would have been nice to have a little more bread, but we polished off all of the cheese.Taleggio Scarpinocc: 4.5/5. This is their signature dish that is only listed on their tasting menu. But if you ask nicely you can get it al la carte. These are pasta-shaped shoes with parmigiano reggiano & aceto balsamico. A very creative and enjoyable combination of flavors. They even accommodated my request to cook these a little beyond al dente.Cocoa and Rutabaga Casconcelli: 3/5. My wife really enjoyed this one, but it was just okay for me. It was interesting to try a pasta dish with cocoa.Chocolate budino: 4.5.5. Very rich and dense chocolate pudding topped with a dollop of expresso ice cream (or maybe gelato). Great way to finish the meal. The waitstaff was really friendly and attentive--mostly. It was funny that after we finished our pasta dishes, our empty plates sat on our table for about 20 minutes while we contemplated what was going to be available for dessert. During this time the tables on either side of us get 3+ visits from the waitstaff (hey, I even took a shower before coming here!). I joked with my wife that it appeared that we were in a service dead zone. The manager finally noticed me looking around to get someone's attention and immediately came to our table. The contrast to our immediate neighbors was pretty funny.
