Tasty food and atmosphere
Cane there twice, and will do it again, when we`ll visit Chelsea. Burger was excellent, mussels salads exactly as they should be, cocktails - you can`t get enough with. And another important thin - you`re feeling very welcomed by staff.

We couldn't wait to go back to Forager's after it had been closed for a while during Covid. We ate there several times prior to closing and the food was excellent and the menu was interesting and inspiring with a bit of a Mediterranean flair. What a let down when we recently went for Brunch. I had an omelette which was fine but nothing special especially given the price point. While we expect to pay $16- 25+ an entree for NYC brunch, there needs to be something special about it to warrant the price other than because of the location; something interesting or unique but there was nothing. I even ordered an extra slice of toast when my dish only came with 1 piece and was charged $2 (maybe even $3). We also had the pancakes which sounded yummy but weren't anything special and another dish with smoked salmon that I cannot recall its name as it was also unremarkable. The tastes were underwhelming and uninteresting. The only yummy thing we had were churros which were complimentary as we waited a long time for our breakfast; odd since we were one of the first group to arrive at opening. Even our server had no idea what she was doing. We won't be back.

The papardelle with meatballs were extraordinary good and so tasty and the service was excellent and fast as well. Price level is a bit higher but worth it.

Menu was limited during covid restrictions. I saw about 20 chickens being roasted and pancakes being cooked but fried chicken and waffles were nonetheless a no-go. So instead waited 30 minutes for an average "banana pancakes" meal with eggs that looked more like chicken's poop. Their own cashiers did not know the price of this item so they spent about 5 minutes researching this. After I notified them of the price on Grubhub, which is the app they told me to refer to for their limited menu, they eventually nonetheless charged me a higher price presumably of direct takeout. Food was comparative garbage. Unimpressed with this highly overrated trash.

Delicious brunch and friendly service. I particularly liked the cardamom bread to start with. The Moroccan lamb sausage, egg and chickpea stew was delicious and very spicy. Coffee was excellent as well.

I discovered the small Foragers restaurant on 8th Avenue/22nd Street over two years ago when staying in Chelsea. After spending a first jet-lagged evening there, being treated with great kindness and served delicious food, I came back the second evening and enjoyed eating with a view of the Empire State Building. Now, I was again staying in Chelsea and was positively looking forward to walking into the friendly, relaxing restaurant - and so it proved, tired as I was I was welcomed, made so comfortable by Kyle at the bar, was advised well - what a chicken soup! - and again came back the second evening with a former student to eat a wonderful burger. The kindness is genuine, the atmosphere so special - not loud, giving you space, but noting your every need. Thank you, Kyle and all the team, I'm half a world away, but I'll be back in Foragers when next in town!

The breakfast egg sandwich and the Merguez sausage were quite tasty. And the cardomom bread was wonderful. The coffee needs work though!

Absolutely delicious pancakes. All the food were very nicely presented and tasted great. Attentive service. My gin gimlet was the best.

Not the cheapest place we have eaten at but the food was lovely. Zucchini strips in tempura batter with the most amazing lemon aoili to start. Followed by lovely house made pasta and a vege dish.
Large menu with something for everyone, we were on the vegetarian side that day and it was great.
Good food nice service
This was my first time at Foragers in NYC and it was very good food in an informal setting with very nice service they are attached to a great food store with a lot of also good products. I will go back!

Really good food! Organic and fresh. Friendly and helping staff. The gnocchi is probably the best we’ve ever tasted! On a clear day you get the view of the empire state building from the restaurant window.
