Came here on a date with my girlfriend for her birthday
Came here on a date with my girlfriend for her birthday dinner. The food was great, the ambiance great but what sold it all was our waiter Adam. He delivered the perfect service. He knew the menu to perfection and was very attentive to us. I definitely would recommend this establishment and the server Adam to anyone who comes here!

I've been here plenty of times, their garlic bread is always to die for. As well as their well curated cocktails. Stay away from sushi though, their wagyu one was a miss. Great steaks and their rigatoni is so good as well as their cacio e pepe. Ambiance is romantic. Service could be better except for older gentlemen who always is a pleasure to us.

Don't get a reservation in the heated tent unless you want to have a bad night. I was very excited to try Gabriella's Italian Steakhouse for my friend's birthday. I was seated in the tent practically on top of their fireplace/heater output. I asked to be moved to another table (there were a few others) and was told they would turn it off. This was a lie because they needed to turn it back on to keep the tent heated. Our table thought we had descended into hell. We were overwhelmed with scorching heat. My legs were practically on fire. Despite our complaints, no one seemed to care. The food was good, but very pricey. Service was just ok. If it was not my friend's birthday celebration, I would have insisted on leaving. At these prices I expect better service and I certainly don't expect to spend my whole night with our bodies roasting like a thanksgiving turkey. There is no way they have not heard this complaint before. They need to do better. For a dinner that cost over $500, we will take our business elsewhere.
Be the first to ReplyWent there for dinner on March 2.
Greeted by three hostess who were friendly , we were seated right away. A server came over immediately and asked if we would like tap or sparkling water. Next main server Sergio greeted us with a big smile and welcome. He took out drink order and we also asked for Garlic Bread (which is amazing). After a drinks came Sergio gave us some time to look over the menu. For appetizers we ordered 6 west coast and 6 east coast oysters and the Tuna tartare. They arrived with in 10 minutes, and all was good. For dinner my date had the Bronzino and I had the 20oz cowboy ribeye rare. Once again we did not wait long for our dinner; we ordered another round of drinks. The steak was cooked to perfection. Crust on outside a cool and rare in the inside. The Bronzino was also very good. The manger came by and said hello she was very nice. The only reason I did not give this a 5 star is that the drink pour and price was a VERY expensive. I had MaCallan 12 on the rocks; it was only a 2oz pour at a cost of $27 per; $54 for two drinks total 4oz. I paid for the bottle. We will definitely be back; however we will not drink.

Im devastated to say that I would not return to this establishment. Why, you ask? Its not the food- ill tell ya that much. The food is fantastic. What needs a tune up is how they speak to customers. I ordered a $10 mocktail and got a mocking myself! I can get one of those for free, anywhere! I can just look in the mirror or look at the ol wife and get that!! But no, got it here. I was having a nice time, but upon ordering my $10 mocktail which I was VERY happy to, the waiter looks at me dead in the eye and says "why dont you get a real drink?" I suppose thats a question for my sponsor, or perhaps g-o-d themself. Keep comin back they say! Easy does it! Ill make my life easier by frequenting a different restaurant. Maybe a pizzeria where I guess I belong.
Be the first to ReplySupposed to be a great restaurant and steakhouse.
I have seen better. My guess is that people go there because they hear from others that it's great. The first thing that hits you walking in is the so-called music. The place sounds like a disco bar. You can't hear your companion speak. Forget about conversation. It is as they advertise a steak house. So, I ordered the cowgirl which is a 16 oz ribeye which I split with my boyfriend. We ate some and took the rest home. I got home and discovered all the gristle and fat on this meat. We ordered the creamed spinach and onion rings as sides. I took a bite of each and left the rest there. The place seems to be overpriced and lacking in atmosphere. But I am sure there are many who will just love it. Each to their own. For steaks, I prefer Ruth's Chris.
Be the first to ReplyI came here last night on Valentine's Day with my boyfriend.
Everything from beginning to end was amazing!! The hostess greeted us right away and we were seated within 5 minutes. Mind you it was pretty. It's on Valentine's DayI wish I was one of these Yelpers that take beautiful photos but the appetizers looked and smelled so good we started devouring it before I could take pics. I got what I could. We started with the crab cakes and meatballs and they were so delicious! Even the sauce was great. My boyfriend and I ordered the 10oz filet mignon medium rare and BOTH were cooked to perfection. Very flavorful! Kudos to their chef! We also had a side of mashed potatoes and Mac n cheese and let's just say there wasn't a crumb left!Lastly! I want to mention how absolutely sweet and attentive our waitress Carly? Was. I'm not sure how to spell her name. But she was very attentive and quick and she was such a sweetheart to talk to. Great restaurant all around. Oh and they gave all the women a rose as they left! So sweet!
Be the first to ReplyGreat service, great atmosphere (if you like it loud)
Great service, great atmosphere (if you like it loud) excellent drinks. And price was not as bad as I expected. Food was generally good. Well seasoned. All the pastas were a hair too al dente and I like mine with a bit of chew. Where my experience was significantly tainted was the steaks. Everyone's steak was 2 grades overcooked. I ordered medium and got well done. It was a shame because even with it being well done you could tell it was a quality piece of meat. Should have sent it back but that messes with the vibe of everyone else eating at the table. I wish steakhouse chefs would just swallow their pride and invest in meat thermometers, so I don't have to swallow overcooked steak.
Be the first to ReplyFront of the house needs a major tune up.
Came for Monday happy hour (a lovely & tasty curated menu). The staff working the hostess stand, bar, and food runner need customer service training. The two hostesses were consumed by their phones... not focused on meeting & greeting patrons... we were told to pick a table in the bar and handed our menus to take to the table.Bartender admitted he was new and not familiar with menu... the cocktails he made were poorly put together and we were offered no water even asking him for it twice. Our 2 appetizers were served by a food runner... we asked him for small plates, utensils, and water... he never returned with the items requested. Which meant we had to roam the restaurant looking for what we needed on our own. We were extremely disappointed and don't plan to visit again. Save your money avoid this place.
Be the first to ReplyThe service was excellent.
The food came out pretty quickly which I was surprised about, usually at nicer restaurants the food takes forever. We loved the meatballs, spicy rigatoni, and garlic bread. We split those as appetizers. For dinner I had the cowgirl and it was one of the best steaks I've ever had. My husband said it was one of the top meals he's ever had. We will definitely be coming back!

Be the first to ReplyI went there for my friends birthday this evening! There
I went there for my friends birthday this evening! There were three of us.We ordered steak and all the crème de la crème!The steak was incorrect for two of us!No problem, we let them know and they proceeded to try and accommodate while the birthday girl ate her steak alone. They then brought out the steaks again and one was incorrectly cooked and the other one was OK. This was a $500 bill for the three of us and at the end of the meal they didn't take anything off the dinner bill for their incompetence as I felt they should. Not only did that happen, pieces of glass flew on to us as they were cleaning. Apparently a glass broke but the glass remnants jumped up somehow and went onto our table and laps. They were aware of this incident as well. When I told them that maybe they should be compensating us in someway, they did a complementary birthday cake and three drinks. Really??Never again and such poor management decision on what they should do to compensate a ruined dinner, which they agreed was ruined. On a good note the waiter was great!PS: The two of us that had the steak that was cooked incorrectly was delivered much later than the birthday girl, wound up taking it home and never ate it there. It was way too late! What they should've done was taken all three meals back at the same time so that we could've eaten together until they got it right. I guess that wouldn't really have mattered because one of the steaks had to go back for a third time. Unacceptable in every way!Dawnrmanagement@gmail.comWe didn't want to make a scene in front of the customers about our disappointment in our meal, so here we are on yelp. First time for me and I'm 61 years old. It's not something I've ever done before but, I felt compelled to do now. I'm originally from Holmdel and always went to their other restaurant Patricia's which was always excellent!!I understand things happen, and this was just a meal. But, it was handled so poorly. Everting should be impeccable from start to finish!Always about the food and experience for me. None of which I can obviously and honestly say was good!!!!!! Hopefully, if this ever happens again, and I truly hope it doesn't, they'll think twice about how they should handle the situation.
Be the first to ReplyDon't Apologize, Make It RightI made a Sunday night
Don't Apologize, Make It RightI made a Sunday night reservation for my husband's birthday assuming the restaurant wouldn't be as crazy as it may be on a Saturday night. I was surprised when they asked if we wanted bread? For the prices I saw, it should just be served. We declined assuming we would eat timely. They brought my appetizer but forgot my husband's appetizer. Upon mentioning, the server apologized and said it was forthcoming. The manager stopped by to say sorry as well but it still took upwards of 20-25 minutes to bring it. Dinner then took 20 minutes past that. It was just two of us...we weren't drinking and didn't think we needed bread to give ourselves something to eat. By the time the dinner arrived, we were tired and hangry. If Gabriella's wants to price and position itself as a high end dining establishment, make up mistakes that ruin meals. The appetizer should have been gratis. Don't keep apologizing, make it right!
Be the first to ReplyWonderful experience here! Beautiful atmosphere, fantastic
Wonderful experience here! Beautiful atmosphere, fantastic food and drinks. Great size menu. Hardworking staff. Our waiter was Ivan and he was very professional and attentive. Nothing but good things to say about everything and overall experience. This is definitely a spot you NEED a reservation for. Also, don't expect it to be a quiet establishment especially on a Saturday night. Only attend eating here if you willing to spend a lil extra dollars because it is on the pricier side but 100% worth it in my opinion. Also side note: they charge for table bread- but you need the garlic bread it's worth it just do it!!
Be the first to ReplyGood food, lovely staff: it's simply overpriced.
I've had $30 filet mignons that include a salad & side that taste just as good.
Be the first to ReplyHad a delicious dinner here :) The hostesses on the phone
Had a delicious dinner here :) The hostesses on the phone when I called to both make and confirm my reservation were super nice and helpful. Our waitress Jenna was so kind and pleasant. She recommended the "Make It Horny" which was soooo good. The Ruby Red Sangria was phenomenal too. Started out with garlic bread which could literally feed a family of 4 they give so many pieces! Perfect crunch and so buttery and delicious. For our sides we had asparagus, mashed potatoes, and mac and cheese. I could not stop eating the mac and cheese - it was the star of the show. Best I've had in my life. For our entrees we both got the filet mignon which was seasoned perfectly. I loved the garlic on the side too. Although we didn't order dessert, our waitress Jenna surprised us with bringing out a cup of ice cream with a sparkler in it, as I had mentioned in the beginning of the night that we were dining for my boyfriend's birthday - such a nice and thoughtful thing for her do. ** we also came on a Saturday night, and although it was getting pretty busy as a later crowd was coming in, we did not feel rushed whatsoever! Excited to come back :)

Amazing dinner! Loved the atmosphere, service, & food! Had the Carpaccio app with truffles & garlic bread to start - both were so delicious! For entrees my husband got the strip steak with bernaise, broccoli rabe, & I had the fried chicken - so so good! We loved it! Finished our meal with a deconstructed carrot cake & espressos. Really an amazing experience & great service!!
Be the first to ReplyWhat a dissapointment.
Great looking restaurant and decent service but oh so noisy. I ordered the lamb chops. The meat was very good except they forgot to season the meat. It had no taste at all and was served with some mushy green salad so I had to order a side to go with them. We also ordered there mixed seafood pasta. very spicy which we were warned about this but they used baby shrimp and tiny bay scallops and not enough sauce was served with the dish. Not what you would expect in a dish like this in a restaurant of this caliber. I don't have a problem spending the kind of money I dropped last night but the food and the service has got to be worth the cost and Gabriella's failed at this. I don't know what the fuss is all about. I won't be back.
Be the first to ReplyThe staff is amazing especially the bartenders.
The pastry chef makes the best desserts you ever tasted. The head chef is great. You won't be disappointed here. The waiters can't do enough for you and the hostesses are so helpful!! I can't say enough about this amazing restaurant except that Gabriella is a sweetheart and Frank keeps everything under control!!

We went here for my hubby's birthday after a coworker's recommendation, based off Yelp reviews and open table. My hubby really enjoyed the ribeye he said it was packed with flavor. My pasta was good but it was a hot dish. The garlic with pecorino cheese was delicious one of my fav. The cream cheese carrot cake with sorbet was outstanding. Our waiter and staff were very nice. We will return and overall we were pleased.

..First time finally making my way down to Gabriella's and it did not let me down. Aside from being with great company, this place hit the mark from start to finished. The service was incredibly generous and went above and beyond for us. The cocktails were well crafted and the wine list was impressive! The steak cooked to perfection from the internal temp to the crust. The appetizers were delicious (best garlic bread I've ever had)! The owners came over to check in on us and were super friendly. The vibe and music created the perfect environment- cannot wait to get back there!
