Genting Palace Las Vegas Reviews from The Last Year
I had a delightful experience at Genting Palace for
I had a delightful experience at Genting Palace for Restaurant Week's dinner. The service was impeccable, and the food arrived promptly. The ambiance was charming and added to the overall enjoyment of the meal. While I have a preference for salty dishes, the black pepper Angus beef tenderloin and stewed egg noodle with abalone were a bit too salty for my taste. Nonetheless, the flavors were rich and satisfying. But be prepared to spend some money.
We celebrated my birthday here and had a fantastic meal.
We began with Shrimp Har Gow with bamboo shoots. It was perfectly cooked with nice sized pieces of fresh shrimp. For our main course we ordered their traditional Peking Duck carved table-side and served in crepes with hoisin sauce, cucumber and scallion. They offered to make up the crepes for us which added to the treat. The skin was excellently crisp. Remains of duck carved and put into stir-fried rice. The crepes them made for us as we watched had just the right proportion of duck, cucumber, scallion and hoisin sauce. The duck was excellently cooked and rendered. The surprise unusual birthday desert had a thinly sliced pineapple fan on top of a scoop of pineapple sherbet covered with meringue. As can be seen in the image, Genting Palace had exquisite place settings. Their team provided outstanding service. The only peculiarity of the evening was that they charged $4 for ice in our (liquor) drinks, which in addition to be unusual at most high end restaurants, was not mentioned when we ordered them.
We were surprised this place wasn't fully booked.
We got a table so easily just walking by. The place is decorated so beautifully. The silverware, the dishes, the sauce cups are all so divine. We had the cucumber, the dim sum combo, the pork/duck combo as appetizers. We had the lobster with butter sauce, the crispy pork, and the thin noddles. Everything was sooooo good. Not one thing was bad. The hot towels before our entree was a gorgeous touch. Please don't sleep on this place! Come. Victor was our server and he gave us so much on Chinese culture we didn't otherwise know.
If you've ever tried Wing Lei at the Wynn, you will enjoy
If you've ever tried Wing Lei at the Wynn, you will enjoy this restaurant. I liked everything I ate, honestly. We tried the following: Hot and Sour Soup Vegan Egg Rolls Shrimp Har Gow Shredded Angus Beef Hor Fun (beef flat noodles) Dessert: Genting Alaska 5* service as you might expect for a fine dining establishment, and we will certainly be back.
Dining at Genting Palace, which is housed in Resorts World
Dining at Genting Palace, which is housed in Resorts World Las Vegas, is a luxury Cantonese experience. The restaurant's tasteful décor and kind staff create the perfect atmosphere for an unforgettable dinner. Their dim sum platter is always my first course; it's a gorgeously presented selection of siu mai and plump shrimp dumplings. Perfectly cooked meat and crispy skin make the Peking Duck another standout. I keep going back for the Roasted Sea Bass, which is a signature dish served with spinach and a delicate bonito soy sauce. Along with a wide range of wines, they also offer traditional teas, which I find to be quite varied. The meticulous service at Genting Palace guarantees that your drinks are always refilled and that all of your needs are satisfied, even beyond the cuisine. Whether you're sampling the distinctive Three-Cup Chicken or the Singaporean-style Fried Vermicelli, both of which have deep, real flavors, the staff's menu knowledge makes for a smooth dining experience. I think the elegant ambiance, excellent cuisine, and first-rate service make the price point higher than at other Chinese restaurants. Genting Palace provides an experience that is difficult to compete with for anyone looking for fine Cantonese food in an opulent setting.
A Must!
Great service and fantastic food! A little expensive, but worth it for the delicious dishes! Lots of good wines to choose from too.. Don't miss this one!
Great Food
My friend and I ordered two dishes and both were excellent. The fish and meat were very fresh. I have not had fresh fish this good in a long time. The restaurant is very pricey. We paid about $285 before tips, but it was worth the price.
Elegant, Chinese fine dining.
Excellent service. Formal table setting but friendly staff. Relaxing, elegant and exceptionally good food.
Honestly, I was not impressed.
I know all of the other reviews rave about the amazing service, but I cannot say the same. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt, even though it took quite a bit to get a menu and water after we were seated. Even if we overlook the service, I was not impressed with the food. I got walnut prawns. If I were to do a blind folded test between this restaurant's food and Panda Express, I don't think I'd be able to taste the difference. The only main difference was the price. Also, the interior had very unflattering lighting that did not do the lime green interior justice. Overall, I don't think I'll be returning.
I was here for their Lunar New Year dim sum buffet.
Despite the epic service, I don't recommend it for the price. Regarding the food, one-third was good, one-third was bad, and one-third had an overpowering herb smell, which is somewhat understandable for a Chinese restaurant. While some people might love it, it just wasn't for me.
Such a lovely experience.
The staff is very welcoming, knowledgeable and helpful. We had the egg rolls, very crispy and light. The Wonton soup had a deep and tasty broth. Loved the spicy cucumbers, sweet, crisp and spicy. There were three of us, and the Peking Duck was more than enough to share. The staff serve the duck table side, and wrap and prepare the perfect size delights. The Alaska dessert is a must get. A lighter, fruit forward play on the original Baked Alaska. Do not miss this one. Next time we are in Vegas, we will come back. Worth a trip to the Hilton Resorts hotel. It is worth the trip..
LUNAR NEW YEAR BRUNCH REVIEW Genting Palace started to do
LUNAR NEW YEAR BRUNCH REVIEW Genting Palace started to do a special Lunar New Year brunch last year for $88.88 per person. They only had it for two weekends and there was so many posts about their brunch. Influencers and Youtubers alike covered the brunch and it all looked amazing. They had lobster, crab legs, Peking duck, and toro sushi/sashimi! However, when my friends and I went, there was no duck and no toro available. It was highly possible that because we went on the second weekend instead of the first, we got jipped. So this year, I've decided we needed to try it again and this time, we went on the first weekend. I had a reservation for a party of five for Saturday, the 10th, and for the first seating. When we arrived, we had two friends that were running a bit late but they were willing to seat us first, which was awesome. This year, they included king crab legs! However, they were pretty thin and there wasn't a whole lot of meat in the legs. They were no chilled lobsters like last year but they did have stir fried lobster pieces on top of noodles, Cantonese style. They did have chu-toro and we were able to ask for salmon belly from the sushi station run by Kusa Nori. The sushi was good and the sushi rice was on point. They were delicious and we kept going back for more! Unfortunately, this year's variety seemed smaller than last year's, especially the dessert section. Last year, they had another room opened for buffet food but this year, they did not open that room so there was limited space. They still had soup and congee. They still had dim sum items but this year, they had an abalone sui mai dim sum, which was pretty neat. The truffle and crab fried rice was just like last year and was super delicious. This year, they had pig's feet too, which we didn't see last year. They had lamb last year that wasn't available this year. But they did have Peking duck! So that was nice -- can't say it was the best Peking duck I had though. They had a small table that had smoked salmon and bowls of fruit. Except the fruit wasn't peeled so if you take fruit from the bowl, you have to peel it or slice it at your table. It's funny how they couldn't even be bothered to do that. Strawberries were also in that fruit bowl, which were extremely odd. Drinks aren't included in the buffet price, which is something I will never understand. If you include drinks in your buffet, people will get a soda or something similar. The more people drink, the less food they will be able to consume. Maybe they don't want people to fill up on liquid? Who knows. Service was okay. If you needed anything, you would still have to flag a server down. My husband got a soda but no one came by to ask if he wanted a refill when he finished it, which was disappointing. The price for the buffet this year hiked up to $128.88 per person but it was NOT worth it. The food was good and the quality was there but for the variety, it just isn't worth that price tag. I think at $88.88, it was still pass-able but not at $128.88. I honestly can't recommend it and I probably won't go back. If you can get it comped, it won't be a bad meal.
Excellent Chinese dinner
This restaurant is lovely and tucked away down a hallway sort of between the Hilton and Conrad/Crockford wings of Resorts World. We made a reservation for a Thursday night at 8 p.m. during the National Finals Rodeo; when we arrived, it was mostly empty. There is an interesting cocktail selection and a decent wine list. As for food, my husband and I split the BBQ combination as an appetizer, then the wok-fried scallops and the truffle crab meat fried rice as a main. The BBQ combo was excellent, though I thought the portion was a bit skimpy for the price. The scallops were very good; the truffle crab meat fried rice was excellent (large portion, accommodated my husband by preparing it without broccoli). The service was good, but a bit standoffish - maybe because it wasn't very busy. It wasn't a problem, though. Prices are probably a bit too high, but that's Vegas for you.
Chinese Culture brought to your table.
Dinner here was the highlight of the week. The Dishes served were like Art. Presentation was only surpassed by their flavor. Chilean Sea Bass was the best I’ve ever had. But the highlight was the Chinese Dumpling Platter. The experience I had make this a Destination Restaurant.
Wonderful experience!
Wonderful dining experience. The service was excellent, food was amazing. There were 4 of us dining, our meals were served family style- everything was delicious. Highly recommend!
Amazing food and service!!
Located in the Resorts World complex we loved the beautiful decorations of this restaurant and the menu offerings. If you desire an excellent, high-end , Chinese style meal, in a beautiful setting with superb service then this is the place for you. It was obvious that the staff here is very well trained. They offer impeccable service and attention. They know the menu, how items are prepared and can make recommendations. Our server, Victor, was excellent and took the time to answer any questions we had. He also took the time to explain what other dishes and menu items being delivered were--like the Peking Duck which was trimmed and served at table side with the remainder taken back to make the next course of Duck Soup. We appreciated his input, time and caring about the traditional dishes being served. We had the Kirin Style Crisp Chicken and the Wok-fried Walnut Scallops. Both were amazing. The scallops were cut thin and prepared perfectly. Very different than the normal full sea scallop served. These were about 1/2 inch thick, flavorful and so tender! They have an excellent offering of craft cocktails and wines. We loved out time and experience at this GEM of an establishment.

Worked perfectly!
Got the reservation (that I couldn't get anywhere else) and was able to entertain a group of friends at the infamous Bern's Steakhouse.
Got into Nobu Malibu
Wonderful! My parents are visiting and we have wanted to go to Nobu Malibu for years. I tried getting a reservation myself but it was next to impossible. So glad I was able to buy a reservation on appointment trader for a decent price!
Very easy
Was very hesitant going into this experience but am glad to say that it worked out very well ! will definitely use appointment trader in the future
Fabulous Lunch
I was veeeeeerry skeptical that this would work, particularly at a restaurant as hard to get into as Nobu Malibu, and it was perfect! We had lunch outside on the patio and it was fabulous!
Great reviewer team
Just wanted to take a second to shout out the reviewer team. Even though they probably review hundreds of listings and bids a day, they still take the time to leave great comments and respond relatively quickly. Thanks!
Incredible
I got a reservation to Don Angie, which I've been trying to book for weeks! I am very happy with this service.

Last minute reservation for Delilah Las Vegas
Got a last minute reservation, dinner for 2 at Delilah Las Vegas: super impressed! The process was simple, transaction seamless. We had an amazing time! Couldn’t be happier! 😍
It works!
Ok at this point I've attended a reservation purchased on AT by a friend and sold a reservation personally. Both worked pretty smoothly, nothing sketchy about it. A few areas for improvement including a way to more directly communicate between buyers and sellers, but the app always seems to be in development. AT customer support is really(!) responsive and helpful too if you have questions!
Money transfer
As a seller, I like the fact i have the ability now to transfer money out of my AT account and into a bank account. Makes getting the money much easier then the process before.
Love this app
Got to go to places otherwise unreachable
Easy Access
Very easy to get into one of the hardest restaurants to reserve in New York.
Whose name will my reservation be under when I arrive at the venue?
It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!
Payouts Blocked Because of Sell Through Rate
Does anyone know how AT plans to handle cases where a seller is quitting the platform but has a sell through rate <25%? The error message I got said to fill more bids or find other ways to increase the rate.
Is AT really going to block sellers from withdrawing their money? Especially revenue made before the sell through rate was introduced??

I will give you 50% of ALL of my PROFITS if you teach me how to make profits?
LOL. Thank you The New Yorker.
Appointment
Transferring reservations is not supported in AT. Why not just use the name in the AT screenshot?
Buyers interested in Bern's Steakhouse: PLEASE READ
Same goes for 4 Charles and I Sodi
Prepaid Reservation Fee
Agreed. Ultimately not addressing this month after month is clearly resulting in a drop in certain venue’s rankings & sales.
Congrats on 3 mil
🍾🍾🍾🍾🍾🍾🧨🧨🧨 now on to 30 mill!
Need to cancel a bid, not getting a response… how do I do it?
Click on "Take off the Market Option" in your portfolio
Working on your bid?
Your bid has been “matched” with a reservation. From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.
Process after bid is accepted.
Hey @EvocativeFold67, welcome to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.
Where do the Reservations on AppointmentTrader come from?
Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.
What happens if my bid expires unanswered?
Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
