Very disappointed with this restaurant as its so popular! No eiffel tower view as was hoping as we were sat at the bar. The terrace itself where you could view the eiffel tower was closed until the summer which was disappointing as the view is the main appeal to the restaurant. The staff were friendly and the decor was beautiful however food was VERY overpriced for what it was — nothing special.

got seated at the rooftop, asked for tap water and they gave us bottled. tried ordering an appetizer and entree for me and my friend to share because we don't eat a lot and when we placed our order the waiter gave us a weird look and left. 1 minute later he said he "talked to his manager" and his "manager" said we had to order one appetizer and entree each. such bs that he obviously made up bc he wanted to get paid more. made no sense for us because we would never be able to finish that. fed up with his attitude at this point so we tried leaving when he stopped us and said we had to pay for the water that we did not even touch let alone ask for. he was seriously so rude. worst experience.

Beautiful atmosphere with delicious food and great staff. We didn’t have a reservation(which is recommended), but we were seated right away at the bar that was absolutely beautiful. Our waitress was so kind and had great suggestions. The yellowtail appetizer was A+ and the lobster pasta with tomatoes, basil and olives was amazing, as well as fun cocktails. Recommend for a night out while in Paris!

My experience at Girafe was a bit mixed. The lobster pasta dish was just okay. The pasta was cooked well, and the lobster was good it just wasn’t fully satisfying. However, the filet mignon was simply amazing. Cooked to perfection, it was incredibly tender and flavorful, and it simply melted in my mouth. While the lobster pasta was a bit underwhelming, the filet mignon more than made up for it, making this restaurant worth a visit for meat lovers.

Tried to make a reservation here for Valentine's Day. It's my best friend's birthday, and she's visiting Paris for the first time, so I wanted to take her someplace with a lovely view and good atmosphere. I got on the Girafe website the moment reservations opened for Feb 14, and they had a special form to fill out since it's a reduced menu that day. Filled it out, got an email asking for more details and a phone call that we were confirmed. They said we needed to put down a credit card to secure the reservation and they would send us a link, but they never did. I emailed multiple times asking for the link and got no answer from them. Finally I called them and they say they have no record of my reservation, even though I have the voicemail and email confirmation. Now I have to find a new place at the very last minute for one of the hardest days of the year to get a table. Absolutely awful, ruined my friend's birthday and my Valentine's Day. Will never ever recommend this place.

A little pricey for the food. Sitting area is also small and very near to the next table. Outdoor is not opened to public till next year. So for those who wants the view should only enquire after March / April.

HANDS DOWN THE BEST LOBSTER LINGUINE AND GRILLED OCTOPUS!Girafe is a must visit if you're in Paris! They're at the most perfect location in Trocadéro so you get to enjoy the beautiful view of Eiffel Tower while you dine there. Highly recommend making a reservation ahead of time as the restaurant is quite popular and does not have too many tables inside or outside! Still drooling when I think about their food.We got the following:- Lobster linguine with tomatoes and herbs- Grilled octopus with potatoes, grapefruit and cabbage- Crab meat with radish, pomegranate and onions - Fresh bread and coffee

The hotel got the day of reservation confused but they still took us for our lunch time anyway. The food was amazing, we had the yellow tail sashimi, lobster and artichoke salads with the truffle pasta to finish. Everything was great. Of course, the views of the tower were great to see during lunch and a nice interior. Overall 5/5 and would go and recommend to friends

But save yourself money and skip it. The service barely existed. The oysters were horrible and not fresh. Our sole was cold and tasteless. We told the waiter and he could have cared less. It's pricey and I wouldn't return based on the food or service. You can see the Eiffel Tower without spending your money at a subpar restaurant.

For one month we tried getting reservations over the phone and Each week they told us to call back the next week. One week before we were to arrive, we were finally able to get a reservation but we're told the only time available was 10 PM. The day of, we arrived on time I was told that our reservation was actually 10:30 PM. We waited for over 30 minutes while we so people walk in and get seated immediately. It rained that day so the terrace was closed and we had a sit inside. This was understandable given the weather, but it took them 30 minutes to take her drink orders we we're ignored trying to order a dinner we asked for the bill four times and they never came wasn't until 1 AM when we left. As a non-seafood eater there was only one option on the menu for me to eat for dinner which was a $45 steak dinner. My recommendation for anybody looking to come here, not. Take your photos of the Eiffel tower sparkling at night elsewhere and eat anywhere else

I tried to make a reservation for a couple weeks and would try multiple times a day. They don't answer during the times they say they will. Also the information they give you is inconsistent because some say you can only book a couple weeks and some say you can only book a few days in advance so there's clearly no standard. Their food is not even good but the pictures you get will be pretty good. Honestly if you don't have connections your table will suck. They have no problem being rude to you and have the worst service I have ever seen. Save yourself the trouble and just take pics behind this place, then get food somewhere else. Believe me it will be much better.

Unfortunately, the day we came it was raining so the terrace was closed. The fries were great - super crispy and perfect. My dad enjoyed the oysters. The carpaccio is made of artichokes and no beef (fyi). My filet mignon was a bit underwhelming as it was chewy, tough, and lacked flavor. The mashed potatoes were delightful.

Very nice place to see the Eiffel before 11 pm but you can catch the same very for free if you just want the picture in the Trocadéro Service was great we went with a 9 month old baby .Please keep in mind everything in France is small So the spaces is tight for stroller super tight I had the lamb Yummm Hubby had Octopus which was great he said it might hit a score of 10The tuna was delicious Oysters were big Bread was cold * get a reservation in advance like months !

Ok at this point I've attended a reservation purchased on AT by a friend and sold a reservation personally. Both worked pretty smoothly, nothing sketchy about it. A few areas for improvement including a way to more directly communicate between buyers and sellers, but the app always seems to be in development. AT customer support is really(!) responsive and helpful too if you have questions!

Whose name will my reservation be under when I arrive at the venue?

Best Answer It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!

Best Answer Your bid has been “matched” with a reservation. From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.

Best Answer Hey @EvocativeFold67, welcome to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.

Best Answer Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.

What happens if my bid expires unanswered?

Best Answer Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
