8 here on a Saturday night with a few couples. It was a nice scene with good service. But I really was hoping to get a fulfilling meal but instead I got an appetizer size entree. For $32 I got approximately 3 oz of a pounded veal with a handful of a rugala on top. Spent a $100 per person with drinks and had to stop off for pizza on the way home. I also got an appetizer of the octopus. It was one single tentacle for $22. I did not know the octopus was being affected by inflation. This place has potential of being a top spot if they would just feed the people.

Celebrated our daughter's Confirmation with 35 family and friends. Robert and his staff were amazing. Great food and prices. The cannoli cake they provided was delicious. All our guests loved being there. My husband and I will definitely be going back to have dinner.

It's mind boggling this place has been around for as long as it has. There are pizzerias in the neighborhood that have a more extensive menu than this place. Not joking they have about 5 things in each section (bizarre). The "homemade" mutz they served in the caprese appetizer was all jokes aside, from stop and shop. The prosciutto was stale. This was the worst part for me; they fill your soda with nothing but ice so there is 3 sips of soda per glass, then they ask you if you want more and the bill comes and they charged you for every re-fill!!! Pathetic! Easiest way for me to never dine at your establishment again is to nickel and dime me on soda. The filet of sole was actually pretty good. My girlfriend got the orecchiette and hated it. Waiter asked if she wanted to bring it home and she replied no so I'm hoping he got the picture that it sucked. Gave 2 stars because the waiter and staff were nice people but this place won't ever see my business again.

Family get together for party of 30! We had a private room with lots of ambiance and piped in music. The food just never stopped coming! Fresh fish salad, fried crispy calamari , baked clams, shrimp oreganata… that was just the appetizers!!! Every get together will be here from now on.

As soon as you walk in, you are welcomed so warmly. We have gone to Guilianas several times and each time is better. From the staff to the owner, always coming by to make sure everything is good...as I have said not good. It's great. Beautiful atmosphere and the food is just delicious! B this is a must GO place for a beautiful evening

After 30+ years of restaurant ownership, Giuliana’s joins our list of preferred restaurants. Janet and staff work at providing delicious Italian food, service and atmosphere for a very enjoyable experience. A good variety of menu choices, deserts, wines and drinks to choose from including a Pre Fix Lunch and Dinner Menu and weekend entertainment. Well worth the visit. Have already recommended to family and friends.

We had the BEST dinner on Saturday night at Giuliana’s Ristorante. We arrived late due to terrible traffic, and the hostess had graciously saved us an outside table. Our octopus and sausage appetizers were fresh and delicious. The Chicken Marsala was out of this world. The bread was hot and very tasty. We loved our desserts of tiramisu and cheese cake. The owner Janet and our server Danny were both professional and welcoming. We will definitely drive back from Philadelphia to eat there again! Paul and Kathy

Wonderful Sunday spent @ Giuliana’s with the family and it was an amazing experience! Food Service and the atmosphere was at its best !!!! We had the pasta Special Spinach Fettuccine with Shrimps in a garlic lemon sauce Sunday gravy and Zuppa di Pesce out of this world !!!! Staff and the owner make you feel like your family !!! 95. It is available Tues thru Thursday 3 to 8pm. Food and service were excellent. i had mussels in red sauce for an appetizer and chicken marsala as an entree. My partner had eggplant rollatini and a veal with artichokes, which he loved. Both were delicious and plentiful. Topped off by cheesecake for dessert. It also included coffee.. First time year and we will be back. Can't Great value and even greater food and service. Thank you!

What a night. In an NYC borough where there are plenty of Italian restaurants, it's hard to find one that stands out. My family found it. The food was out of the park. The atmosphere is something I thought you can find only if you took a time machine back to that golden era when the restaurant was the center of town. This restaurant does not mess around, and you shouldn't either. If you're from Staten Island, say hello to the real deal. If you're not from Staten Island but find yourself in the forgotten borough, do not forget to try this place. Hopefully, you get a seat because the word is out.

Service was accommodating and did what they were supposed to. Food was pretty average at best for the area it's in. You could get better Italian food in Staten Island. The marinara sauce was the star of the night, that was really good. Their parking lot situation is... interesting? I would try it out, but don't have the highest of expectations.

My wife and I tried this place for lunch on a whim, and boy am I glad we did. Upon entering we were greeting with a warm, cozy, inviting atmosphere. The hostess that greeted us was friendly, accommodating, a very nice. The wait staff was equally as welcoming and they were very attentive to us. We tried the prix-fixe lunch menu, which I definitely recommend. For my appetizer, I tried the mozzarella with tomatoes and olives. My wife tried the stuffed mushrooms. Both dishes were fresh, flavorful, and prepared and cooked to perfection. I normally don't like mushrooms at all, but I loved those mushrooms. For my main course, I had the tilapia oreganata. It was served with potatoes and vegetables in a white wine and lemon sauce. Absolutely delicious. The fish was cooked perfectly. It was tender and flaky, but not mushy, and tasted fresh like it was caught that day. The vegetables were lightly grilled and the potatoes melted in my mouth. For dessert, we were provided with tiramisu and coffee which presented a delicious finish to a great lunch. The tiramisu was rich, creamy, and bore the taste of a delicious espresso to round out the sweetness. I would recommend Giuliana's to anyone looking for a great Italian lunch or dinner, and I will definitely be back many times.

We saw it was highly rated, so we gave it a try. The ambience is pleasing as an eccentric Italian-American family establishment. Our waiter was pleasant, but I found it strange they didn't recite the specials or include in the menu. Instead, they placed this massive board (like those you see on the street) in front of our table and had us read it. Now for the most important part - the food - it was not good and it was brought out 45 min after the appetizer. Bread was drowned in oil, butter and grated cheese. Why? Arugula & Goat Cheese salad was drenched in a lemon vinaigrette dressing; a complete disservice to two already distinct flavors. Marinara sauce was too tangy. Chicken Frangelico - sauce was good but it was basically an overly deep-fried chicken cutlet. For dessert, the chocolate ganache cheesecake was completely dry and a joke at $12 a slice. This is simply not classic Italian cuisine. The overall meal was relatively expensive and not at all worth it.

What a fantastic night out with friends. The food was fabulous, top notch service despite a packed house all night, plus the entertainment took the evening to another level.
Meal opener - addictive parmesan bread sliced to perfection swimming in olive oil. Soooo delicious.
Cocktails were fabulous and we even created one just to give the blueberry infused vodka a try. Yummy.
My sea bass special with shrimp was abundant and perfectly cooked. Friends had pasta dishes, fish and chicken. Everyone raved. We were provided with a complimentary night cap before coffee and dessert.
The entertainment received several standing ovations from patrons; some even got up to dance. Kudos to singer Vinny Medugno and praise to the establishment for letting everyone stay and enjoy set after set.
We can’t wait to come back.

Ok at this point I've attended a reservation purchased on AT by a friend and sold a reservation personally. Both worked pretty smoothly, nothing sketchy about it. A few areas for improvement including a way to more directly communicate between buyers and sellers, but the app always seems to be in development. AT customer support is really(!) responsive and helpful too if you have questions!

Best Answer It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!

From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.

Best Answer Hey @EvocativeFold67, welcome to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.

What happens if my bid expires unanswered?

Best Answer Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
