Wonderful all around.
My husband and I shared a number of items from the menu and we loved each one of them: Calamari, Warmed Goat Cheese, Chicken Marsala, Braised Short Ribs, Cheesecake. Yum! We'll definitely be back.

$8 for this?? I ordered and dinner, and this tiny salad arrived. I could've made my own for a lot less. Don't waste your money.

Tried to book a reservation for a party of 20 requested to have five separate bills all other restaurants that I asked said sure no problem but I was told the owner at this place wouldn't accommodate my request which is crazy that y'all would allow yourself to miss out on the money you guys would've made plus a big tip for the hassle. Thanks anyways

Last night I had dinner with friends to celebrate my birthday at Grapevine. I decided to try the steak Oscar and my friends ordered the mushroom ravioli, and pasta Primavera. We also ordered the fruit and cheese platter prior to our meal. Our entrées were served with soup or salad. The clam chowder soup was delicious! The steak Oscar was a nice fillet mignon served with a delicious cream sauce and topped with crab.I enjoy this restaurant for its nice ambience low chatter, and lighting. The owner makes it his responsibility to check in on each table and ask customers about their dining experience.

Bottle of Wente cab. Chelsea was our server. Now that you have all the information, please know that they were all above and beyond expectations!

I ordered over the phone for takeout and was told 15 minutes which was perfect as I was heading out of work. I ordered the Seafood Fra Diavolo based on photos and reviews I saw. When I got there - the inside was super cute and romantic. They did have a bar in the middle (in case next time I want to eat in and I'm alone which sometimes what I like to do since I travel For work a lot). I was greeted by a hostess who was also the one who went to grab the food and brought over a check for me to pay at the stand. Once I got back to my hotel - I was delighted to get a freshly baked tiny loaf of bread. It was yummy and soft in the middle but crisp out the outside. Some butter would have been nice too but I didn't get any. The past was delicious. I stuffed myself full. The shrimp in there were big. There were a couple of muscles, clams, calamari, and scallops. I was asked at time of order if I wanted red or white sauce. I opted red since I feel that is more ideal for this dish. It was great! The pasta was also cooked nicely. I look forward to coming back soon!

Was able to check out Grapevine Café for the first time and the owner Mike was very friendly and even extended the happy hour specials for us since it was our first time in. The food was amazing, I tried the meatballs and the Sautéed Shrimp Appetizer.....it was so good that we had to order another. Good people and great food, what else do you need?

Grape Vine Cafe is absolutely wonderful! Great prices, service, food and atmosphere! My new go to Italian restaurant.

Enjoyed a glass of wine, shrimp stuffed with crab meat. My wife and I enjoyed their absolutely delicious clam chowder. I have had chowder all over including West and East coast. This chowder stands up to all I've had. Then our entree we shared was the linguine and clams in the white sauce. You can never go wrong. The waitress was extremely helpful and friendly! The ambiance was so nice! We love this place and recommend it to everyone.

Be the first to ReplyThe last time I was here it was still grape Street.
I was so excited to come as it was one of my favorite places. The ambiance is still amazing, and the place was half full for lunch. Which I was happy to see But unfortunately, Our server was new in fairness but unfortunately the service was terrible, she couldn't recommend anything which I thought was strange and the food ended up just mediocre. I'm hoping to try again as I don't want to loose such a pleasant memory.

Our first time in & will not be our last! Warm and inviting atmosphere and lovely staff. We dined at the bar with Michelle as our server. Great wine selection and very good food. The blackened chicken/Gorgonzola pasta was great. The shrimp stuffed with crab appetizer was yummy! Very warm and engaging all the way around.

I think this is definitely a hidden gem--it's such a great romantic spot or a great place to take the family. They have a vast selection of wine and robust menu. We had the chicken Gorgonzola and the manicotti with Alfredo. Both meals were delicious and great portions! We ended up getting the profiteroles for dessert and they were to die for--fresh and super flavorful. I highly recommend trying this place for your next Italian dinner!

We were greeted and seated within minutes. Senta was our server; along with a young man who assisted with filling water, bringing dishes and removing plates once finished. Senta did a great job and even assisted when asked by taking our group photo for us. Complimentary bread and butter was brought out first. All of the items we ordered were delicious. I wish the crab-stuffed shrimp included a few more; considering the price. Wow the coffee was strong. Good, but strong. For those who love Caesar's salad, the dressing is authentic (I asked). We were offered cracked pepper and/or shredded Parmesan cheese to be added to our dishes. The weather was agreeable for us, and we stayed a couple of hours. We had a great time. Definitely a place we'd return to for more tasty dining.

Seated right away for reservation and given our choice of a couple tables. Our server came by right away to get us started. He provided some good menu recommendations and feedback on our questions. My wife enjoyed a red sangria, and I settled on a Zinfandel after learning they don't serve liquor. The food came out in a reasonable amount of time and was excellent. The crab stuffed shrimp appetizer was very tasty...just wish they gave us a couple more. My wife got the short rib and loved it. The sauce on it was very good. I had the lamb chops and they were good but cooked just a shade past the medium I requested. It would also be nice if the lamb came with a richer sauce like the short ribs. The profiterole dessert was a great finish the to the meal. It provided a nice range of flavors. I'd love to try it with whipped cream filling instead of ice cream, but it's very good as-is. Overall, this was a great and somewhat surprising experience. Not that we'd heard anything bad...just that we were surprised to find a good place like that in a strip mall. We'll definitely go back.

A warm inviting space, with exposed brick walls and comfortable seating. Staff was friendly and the menu had a good selection of appetizers, pasta, and seafood.Prices are very reasonable and the portions very large! We enjoyed the special Monday wine prices.

I'm closing in on two years as a Las Vegas resident and I don't think I even knew this area existed. My girlfriend and I ended up coming to the Grape Vine Cafe with family on Saturday night and I was pretty happy since I not only discovered this place, but also a Detroit style pizza place in the same parking lot, talk about a good night, eh? We had a reservation for 7PM and got seated pretty much right away. This place has a ton of different dining options from pasta and steak to chicken and seafood.....and I went with none of them, because when a place offers prosciutto pizza, I always go with the prosciutto pizza! The prosciutto pizza is a red sauce pizza with prosciutto, caramelized onions, fresh basil, and mozzarella cheese, so basically, it is a top of the line premium pizza. Before the pizza came out, we did indulge in some appetizers including the meatballs that I really enjoyed, they were a good size, had a great sauce, and even had a little bit of a kick to them. The bread that they hand out here is also pretty good, coming out nice and warm for the perfect pairing. The pizza itself was absolutely delicious and would of gotten this place 5 stars even if everything else sucked, but it didn't. The prosciutto itself tasted really good, as did the sauce, while the dough was just soft enough to be my favourite kind of chewy dough, basically, the pizza was amazing.Overall, Grape Vine Cafe was a home run in my book. Not only did we enjoy a nice dinner in a super nice looking place, but we had a fantastic waiter who was a trip throughout the meal, as well as a piano player (who was not Billy Joel, but still did a great job) making it a really great evening. If you live on the West side of town, this is a must try if you want some top notch food at reasonable prices!
