What a hidden gem.
They serve Thai , Vietnamese, Korean and even Singapore noodles. I will be back.
Be the first to Replymy first visit to hau's was definitely one to remember.
i was a small child eagerly waiting for food. my parents ordered the beef stone bowl which absolutely amazed me as a child seeing a scorching hot stone bowl on the sticky fake wood table. i went back today for the stone bowl and it is just as good as i remember it. my dad ordered the pan fried noodles and my mom ordered the papaya salad. everything was delicious per usual. i understand the prices have gone up but that's just the cost of running a restaurant for so long and trying to keep up with the rising cost of ingredients. all in all it was a delectable dinner!

I have only been here once and it was kind of by accident but it was wonderful. We ordered food to go. I had the Singapore noodles and pan wood sen and hubby had general Taos chicken. My husband like his food a lot and my 2 dishes were wonderful. The staff was friendly and the restaurant was clean. We will absolutely go back.

They dont have any filipino foods besides the pancit and lumpiathings unlike the pictures online from prior menus. There is halo halo on the menu but that rings hallow -hallow as they no longer have it anymore.n There is not much of an identity or specilization to focus on as they claim many types of food but its not known if they can do any especially well. The portions were large and tasty with a bit of sweep. We were the only ones there but the seating is actually nice for the strip plaza. The veggie egg rolls were crisp but way too watery with gut like cabbage spreading outside with liquid so it was too watery The pancit was a a bit salty but it did the job. The egg drop soup was a bit more sweet that you have from a typical chineese take out. I am not sure how they are going to make it considering the price point and lack of identity. I wish them luck

Years ago we frequented Haos because it had some interesting dishes. Notice I didn't say great or even very good. Relocating to Florida decades ago I realized that I had given up tasty favorites- Chinese, Italian, bagels, pizza, etc. I've literally eaten foreign foods in their country of origin and around the world. That's the problem. I know how it should taste. We visited Haos every few months more out of nostalgia than anything else. Also, because the restaurant is a good 40 minutes away, there was no rush to go out of the way. Nevertheless, we were going to be nearby so why not? We decided to place an order for pick up. After going over the order we asked, to confirm, the prices. The woman taking the order said that the menu pricing on their site was a few days late in "updating." I guess this happens so we let it pass. Upon arrival to the restaurant, 40 minutes later, we were told that the order wasn't "quite ready yet." In NYC, when you call in a Chinese food order, the delivery person is at the door before you can hang up. Okay, we've gone this far and didn't want to have to spend more itme so we waited. While waiting I picked up the current menu that was just used by patrons already seated. I noticed that there was no "upgrade" of pricing. I asked the woman why was that? She was obviously embarrassed, didn't address that she tried to cheat us out of a few dollars more, but gave the "I really don't mean it" smile and said that she would give us the lower price as a special gift! This, in itself, is a deal breaker for us.The food was barely passable. We ordered the Pad Thai, Beef Chow Fun, and Moo shu pork to compare. Had it not been for the stuck together noodles (not fresh) in the Chow Fun and the added vegetables in the other dishes, we wouldn't be able to tell them apart. The blatant cheating in itself sealed the deal to never go back. We predict that they will not stay in business. We award them a negative one.

First time ordering lumpia at a restaurant and was pleasantly surprised. Would definitely eat there again
Be the first to ReplyHoas noodle done gone and dunnit on me one mo' again.
...Not EVEN six minutes past me finishing off my slippery shrimp with duck sauce, I got hit wit dat frothy beady gurgle urgle urge. Naw mean?I pulled my Green 87 Gremlin off the road, unbuttoned my trousers, pulled down my banana hammock, and shot hot frothy mud all down the side of Forrest Hill Blvd. I had to buy neosporin to soothe that deeeeep down south burn on my chili ring. My poodle was sniffing my undercarriage for 72 hours straight because I couldn't shake the smell. Hot dawg, hot dawg, hot diggity DAWG.

I had never been here before and I saw they had some Chinese, Thai, Vietnamese and Philippines food on the menu. To me it seemed like a no brainer to give it a shot. The owner Alyssa was exceptionally friendly and made me feel very welcome. We talked about our mutual love for Thailand and it really made the experience of eating there all the better. The food was delicious. I started with the shrimp in a blanket and for my main course I had the drunken noodles. Soooooo yummy. A big pile of tender rice noodles covered with chicken, beef and shrimp. Delicious.I would be happy to come here again and probably will very soon.

Menu prices are not even close, they advertise way lower but not true. Food is about average what you expect for mid to low quality Chinese take out. Not worth the price

We've eaten here twice now! We've had Singapore noodles, pad woon seng, general tso chicken, and krab ragoons. Delicious. The variety of noodles is my favorite, and the overall the food is fresh and flavorful. Staff is very friendly. We likely won't dine in as the restaurant smells like cigarette smoke or something, if that's something you may be considering, but we happily take the food to go!! Definitely worth it every time we go!!

The newer Haos is more expensive for smaller portions in my opinion. Food is also bland. What I usually use to pay was nearly doubled the amount of what I paid recently. I called for take out and they don't even tell you the total at the end, or I asked for the specific dish and the lady said they didn't make it anymore but when I went to pick it up it was on the take out menu so they do make it still, she just did not understand. I don't think I'd be going back anymore
Be the first to ReplyNoticed they changed owners about a few months ago, but
Noticed they changed owners about a few months ago, but they assured us that the chef stayed the same. We've been there several times as dine in and got my regular dishes. The Panang curry is always good. But this time I decided to do takeout and try something different. Usually the lumpia and cheese wontons have a nice light brown color but this time it was burnt. Also Not sure why pineapple fried rice is cooked with curry? The photo really doesn't do it justice. Wasn't really expecting it. Now on the positive end, ordered orange chicken and general tsos chicken. They were both delicious.

Be the first to ReplyUnder New Ownership.
Very disappointed in the food, quantity and increased pricing. ย I received what I would consider a lunch portion but paid for a dinner portion. The dining experience was less than impressive at every level. I recommended dining there to the group I was with. I won't be back and neither will the other two couples that joined us for dinner. I walked in there, so eager to try their Thai menus. I really wanted to enjoy my meal. The six of us left hungry, stopped for desert at a nearby Italian restaurant.
Be the first to ReplyDon't expect anything to come as you ordered it.
Haven't had a kitchen in over a year and have been relying on takeout. They can repeat you order twice and still screw it up. DONE!!
