Simply stunning
Have just left the beautiful hotel after a two night stay. Everything is wonderful, the staff, the food, the rooms, the location. Nothing was too much trouble and we were treated like royalty the whole weekend. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Rome, thank you to all the staff for an amazing experience ❤️🇮🇹
Be the first to ReplyPerfect Hotel with a welcoming and luxurious feel
Fabulous Hotel in a small road opposite Trevi Fountain. We contacted them prior to arrival to arrange a Hotel transfer which was wonderful - infact all of the Staff were very attentive and welcoming, we didn’t even get asked for a deposit at check-in. Room was perfect, a view of the Trevi fountain and great amenities- had a luxurious feel to it. Excellent choice at Breakfast, pancakes are a must! A perfect location for sight seeing and good restaurants, and felt extremely safe. Will definitely return!
Be the first to ReplyAnother Great Stay at Harry's
Our second time here was a good as the first. Their customer service is excellent. They can store our luggage if we arrive early and if they can we get the room a little early. We like the location of the hotel. Easy to walk to many of Rome's main attractions. Breakfast was the best of the trip. We plan on staying here our next time in Rome. The gelato next door is the best. You can see it being made.

This was a fantastic hotel. Great location- beautiful rooms - excellent breakfast. Sadly, we stayed for only one night. The front desk was very helpful with arranging dinner reservations, directions to various sites, transportation to and from the port and the airport. We absolutely would stay here again and highly recommend this hotel with its fabulous location right at the Trevi fountain.

Loved staying at this beautiful centrally located hotel within meters of the famous Trevi Fountain and walking distance to all of the other beautiful attractions to see. Very friendly and efficient staff. The rooms are very modern and very quiet with no road traffic. Breakfast was very good and there is a lovely classy bar. Hundreds of lovely restaurants and bars all within walking distance. Highly recommend and would definitely return
Be the first to ReplyThe location is a blessing and a curse
I have been staying at Harry’s for 6 days and will be leaving shortly. Let me start the review by saying 4 stars from me is a very high rating and the hotel and staff are very nice, they deserve 5 stars. The title of my review encapsulates my feelings. The hotel is perhaps 100m from the Trevi fountain which is convenient but unfortunately there are hordes of tourists outside all day, even in November. I mean huge numbers from early morning until late at night. If the hotel was another 100 metres away I would give 5 stars. Other reviews have mentioned the very nice rooms and toiletries, the very good breakfast and great staff. I really enjoyed my stay here except for the crowds outside. If you don’t mind the crowds you will very much enjoy staying at Harry’s.
Be the first to ReplyAmazing hotel, brilliant location - must book!
We stayed at Harry’s hotel and bar based on the central location as well as the high standards of most of the reviews. It really did not disappoint! The Trevi fountain is a stones throw away and other sights are very easily walkable too. The hotel itself is beautiful. For a boutique hotel, it has everything one could ask for. The bedrooms were spacious and clean with comfortable beds. The mirror feature on the wall with the television within the unit is a fantastic addition! The bathrooms were big with plenty of soaps, shampoos and even a comb and razor! The breakfast was plentiful with a lot of variety and a menu that we ordered from daily. The hotel staff are lovely. I asked for a tiramisu recommendation from one of the receptionists one night and she was so helpful! The outside area of the hotel is busy but I think it adds to the character of the hotel. I would return and will be recommending this place to friends and family! Thank you for a wonderful stay!
Be the first to ReplyFive Star that should be Three
First of all, I'd like to state that we stayed in "The Annex". It's essentially another building across the street. It's the furthest thing from a Five Star Hotel. I have attached pictures below. There's trash everywhere outside, no where does it say even the hotel name, the hallways have never been painted and have 30 year old carpet, it smells like smoke 24 hours per day, and has nothing to do with the hotel. I don't know how they can even market it as part of the hotel. All this said, this is not the center of frustration. I booked the hotel 14 months in advance of the Ryder Cup. I booked their most expensive Suite to splurge for a once-in-a-lifetime trip. That booking was made August 4th of 2022. It was the Jet Tub Suite with Balcony and about 550 sq ft - an absolutely huge room by Roman hotel standards. The oddness started to happen this July. I got a notification from Expedia that the hotel had rejected my card. If I didn't call immediately, my room would be canceled. I panicked and immediately called Expedia. After hours on the call with the hotel and Expedia, Expedia said they couldn't fix the processing issue at the hotel. They had no idea what was going on even while working with the hotel. Expedia noted how odd is was as it's the standing card I have on file for all of my bookings. The hotel recommended Expedia cancel the booking and then book directly with the hotel. I told Expedia not to cancel as I didn't want to lose this room that I booked a year earlier. Expedia agreed to hand the case over to the hotel and not collect their fees (which I've also never seen). The hotel. I spent probably six or seven calls totaling more than several hours working with Alessandro. He said I would not lose my room and he would cancel from his side. He canceled the room and gave me a discount for booking direct. I didn't ask for one. He just simply offered it for not using a booking engine. Fast forward to last week, I check-in and am given this "Jr. Suite - Annex" as opposed to their most expensive suite with a Balcony, Jetted Tub, and 550 sq ft. I have a conversation with the front desk and he said please wait. I need to do my research. After an hour, he won't listen to me and only shows his side of the case. His "proof" only goes back to the cancellation, which was started on his side, and completely ignores the prior 12 months of evidence and the original booking. I continually show him and he finally admits "something happened". He says he will talk to his Manager and make it right. After four days, they never did a thing. Summary: The Annex is garbage. I can't believe they market it as a hotel. And, I got the old "bait and switch" on rooms. If you somehow you get the Annex, just simply spend your money someplace else. It wouldn't even pass for a basic AirBnb that you pay 600 euros per night for. The hotel needs to interact better and do something in this situation.
Be the first to ReplyDisappointing service and stay (room switched)
We booked this hotel over a year in advance as we were heading to the Ryder Cup in Rome and we had carefully selected a room “Suite, Jetted Tub” with views of the Trevi fountain. My husband had spent numerous hours doing the research. When we got to the hotel they took us over to an Annex building across the street (not the main hotel building). The building hallways were very dirty and the room faced an inner courtyard with mechanicals and a hose. We had our confirmation email from the hotel so my husband went back to the front desk to show them the email, they spent 20 mins arguing back to him about how he was wrong and that was not possible, until he showed them in their own system where it showed that we had booked a Suite, Jetted tub and been given a Junior Suite. His response was “I will speak to our manager and let you know”. We never heard anything again from the manager or anyone else. We did not get what we paid for and were very disappointed in the lack of response we got. The hotel is supposed to be 5 stars but the annex building is clearly not, and after our experience it’s clear to me that the service isn’t either. It’s extremely disappointing to plan a vacation so carefully and receive what we did. Not to mention it was not what we were paying for.
Be the first to ReplyLittle peaceful oasis in the heat of Rome!
Harry’s Hotel is definitely a find! It’s roof terraces provided us with a little oasis right in the heart of Rome. Lovely to escape to for a quiet glass of wine. The hotel was spotlessly clean, the staff very friendly, and the restaurant food was outstanding. Our roof terrace room was super special, would highly recommend!!
Be the first to ReplyThe best nest box ever without pizza
After checkin in we were led to the roof or terrace with the fountain view and our room (like a nest box) was located exactly there - just two more stairwells up. It shouldn’t be mentioned that that terrace was ideal place for the evening’s drinks along with cigars. Next thing is the Italian cuisine. Yes, exactly there are so many gastronomic temptations in Rome, but after our first visit to the Harry’s Restaurant we left the idea of looking for something else. There was no pizza in their menu, but all the rest was on the top-notch level: risotto, lobster, pasta - just following the entire menu list. The special attention should be paid to there signature dessert - ice cream with 50 years old Balsamic Vinegar “Luigi Cremonini Reserve”- fantastic! Comfortable room with good amenities. Let alone perfect service and friendly staff at the reception. In fact, that nest box (i.e. Harry's Bar Hotel & Restaurant) gave us the best impression on our vacation near Trevi fountain.
Be the first to ReplyOn the Trevi step
Excellent location- literally on the door step of the Trevi- staff are so helpful- food was delicious as well- ample breakfasts and the restaurant has a great selection- we stayed in the apartment around the corner - really can’t recommend them enough
Be the first to ReplyExcellent service, quality and location
We had an multi-faith international conference and put 10 people up here in this hotel. The people who stayed here were from every possible background and all of them had nothing but good things to say about their stay. The staff was extremely accommodating for our many requests. We kept having to make adjustments, adding dinners, adding rooms, requiring extra cleanings. They were all very responsive and helpful. AND this is a personal preference of mine but this hotel has no carpet. My allergies, or lack therof, were noticed. Thanks!
Be the first to ReplyHarry's Bar, Rome, dissappointment
What a disappointment. Location and food were good but the pretentious attitude of the staff was a major reason our evening was ruined. We ate outside and as the evening air chilled we asked for the heater to be switched on, it was broken. We challenged the cost (8 euro) for water on the table as other restaurants we visited the water was free, this was met with disdain and raised eyebrows. Do not visit unless you can accept this poor behaviour.
Be the first to ReplyReally enjoyed our stay
Spent 5 days at this hotel - super location and everywhere is walkable. The staff are kind and helpful. The breakfast was really great, and we had a few evening cocktails in the bar. The roof terrace is a pleasant escape from the crowds, which was much needed as Trevi is always packed!
Be the first to ReplyNice little hotel next to a major tourist attraction
Just to point out the obvious, the hotel is right next to the Trevi fountain. This means bit of a hassle getting in and out of the property, especially if you need a taxi. I was worried about the potential noise given our rooms were at first floor facing the street. Early evening there was bit of noise, but it died down by 10pm. The room was very spacious and nicely done. The shower was one of the best showers I have encountered in a hotel in a long time. The buffet breakfast was really nice with good selection. Nice to have a drink at the rooftop terrace. Special thanks to the ladies at the reception for sorting out all our transport needs and recommending some excellent restaurants.
Be the first to Replywonderful
From the minute they whisked away our rental car upon arrival ( to a parking area) to until they retrieved it 3 days later (for our departure at 6AM) everything was outstanding/. The service , the breakfast, and of coarse the location ( steps from the Trevi Fountain.
Be the first to ReplyPerfect Stay
We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights in November 2021. It was simply perfect. I have stayed at hundreds hotels all over the world, and this was one of my best experiences.
First of all, the staff was exceptionally friendly, helpful and polite. They assisted us with all our planning needs.
Second, the location doesn't get any better. Right by the Trevi fountain, smack in the middle of the historic area of Rome.
Third, the rooms were larger than most hotels in Europe, very clean and comfortable.
Fourth, the breakfast was delicious. Wait staff remembered our preferences and were exceptionally courteous and pleasant.
Lastly, we had a very minor incident, that wasn't the hotel's fault (a small leak from an window left open), and the hotel staff dealt with it immediately and even though it was minor, and not even their fault, they discounted our stay and didn't charge for a whole night.
Really doesn't get better than this
Lovely Lounge
We loved stopping by here for cigar, tea and refreshments! The service is best in the city at Harry's Bar & Restaurant and we loved the location. Atmosphere high-end and very classy. A must to visit in Rome if on business or holiday!
Be the first to ReplyWish I would have stayed here longer
Traveled to Italy this fall, and I set my itinerary to stay in Rome for 4 days, travel to other locations in Italy and return to Rome for a day for my flight home the next day. I stayed at Harry's for the final night and WISHED I had stayed here originally. Amazing hotel (e.g., clean, spacious, central location, great ammenties, etc.). Highly recommend anyone stay here, especially if you're looking to stay near the Trevi Fountain. Let's put it this way... next time I come to Rome I will ABSOLUTELY stay at Harry's!
Be the first to ReplyAmazing Hotel and Staff
We loved our experience staying at this hotel! We stayed at Harry's for a little over a week with 6 adults and our 1 year old daughter. Valentina, front desk manager, was the best! I communicated with her via email months before our trip and she answered all my questions and concerns. She truly made sure all our requests were accommodated (i.e. she made sure all our rooms were on the same floor, a beautiful clean crib for our baby was all ready upon our arrival). The hotel is very clean and modern. Beautiful and spacious rooms, hardwood floors, and they had a lovely breakfast everyday. All staff we encountered (housekeeping, wait staff, front desk) were all amazing to our family!
I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone staying in Rome. The location was superb, everything was super walkable. The Trevi Fountain was a few steps away which is always a very busy and lively place but once in the hotel, the rooms are extremely quiet and a great place to retreat after a long day of exploring the city. Thank you Valentina and staff for such a wonderful week! You guys are the best! We can't wait to visit again!
Beautiful hotel
We genuinely couldn’t fault this hotel whatsoever. We arrived hours before our room check in time (as flight had been changed) but upon arrival we were advised that our rooms where soon to be ready and to relax and have a free drink from the bar whilst we waited. The rooms were spotlessly clean, spacious enough and very modern. Free water provided in the room as well as teas and coffee.
The location really is perfect and easy walking distance to all attractions.
Breakfast was lovely and the staff very attentive- there is a delicious choice of buffet items and you can order freshly made hot food from the menu.
We ate at the restaurant and whilst is slightly pricier than the others around, the food was delicious!
Overall the hotel is modern, clean and the staff attentive and polite, couldn’t ask for more!
