Nestled in the heart of the city, The Honor Bar is a hidden
Nestled in the heart of the city, The Honor Bar is a hidden gem that offers a remarkable dining experience for food enthusiasts and casual diners alike. From the moment I entered the establishment, I was captivated by the warm and inviting atmosphere, characterized by the tasteful dรฉcor and soft, ambient lighting. The attentive staff welcomed me with genuine smiles, quickly escorting me to my table and ensuring I felt comfortable. The menu was an impressive blend of classic favorites and innovative culinary creations, with options that catered to various dietary preferences and palates.I started my gastronomic adventure with the Truffled Deviled Eggs, which were nothing short of divine. The rich, velvety texture of the eggs was beautifully complemented by the earthy notes of truffle, resulting in an exquisite appetizer that left me craving more. For my main course, I opted for the signature Crispy Chicken Sandwich, which came highly recommended by the server. The chicken was cooked to perfection - juicy on the inside, with a delightfully crunchy exterior. The sandwich was generously layered with fresh lettuce, tangy pickles, and a flavorful aioli that brought the entire dish together harmoniously. To accompany my meal, I chose a glass of the house red wine, which was a smooth and well-balanced selection that paired wonderfully with the bold flavors of the food. Throughout the evening, the staff consistently demonstrated an exceptional level of professionalism and attentiveness, anticipating my every need and ensuring my water glass was never empty. As the night progressed, I found myself immersed in conversation with fellow diners, who shared my enthusiasm for the outstanding cuisine and enchanting ambiance of The Honor Bar. The restaurant's intimate setting fostered a sense of community and camaraderie that is all too rare in today's fast-paced world.Dessert was the perfect finale to my dining experience, as I indulged in a slice of the delectable Chocolate Hazelnut Torte. The rich, decadent flavors of chocolate and hazelnut melded together seamlessly, leaving my taste buds in a state of pure bliss. In conclusion, The Honor Bar is a must-visit destination for anyone seeking a top-notch dining experience that combines mouthwatering cuisine, exceptional service, and a warm, inviting atmosphere. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or simply enjoying a night out with friends, The Honor Bar is guaranteed to exceed your expectations and leave you eagerly anticipating your next visit.

Great for a night cap and cigar.
Be the first to ReplyExcellent! Delicious food.
I'm a fan of the chicken sandwich and the deviled eggs. The device is 10's across the board

Never disappoints. Get there early as place gets busy. Worth the wait!

Be the first to ReplyCool LA spot.
Small and intimate with a refined but relaxed atmosphere. Menu is simple but the food is done right. Great drinks. Place is small so be prepared to wait for a spot ... worth it though.
Be the first to ReplyFirst time at Honor Bar and it was a great experience.
They don't take reservations, but it wasn't a long wait on a Thursday around 6pm. About a 15 min wait or so. We sat at the bar and the guy who took our order was very attentive and friendly. Asian dude, with very James Bond vibes. We ordered the veggie burger, crunchy avocado roll, and veg roll with spicy ponzu. Portions were big, and it was filling. The rolls were very good, especially the spicy ponzu one. The vegetarian burger is one of the best I have had. Sometimes veggie burgers can lack flavor where you need some extra sauce or spice; however, each bite of this burger was flavorful. The bread was soft and the pickled onions were a nice touch. I got the Paloma mocktail and my friend got a Gimlet (vodka w easy lime) & both drinks were good. Prices are on the higher end but it is Beverly Hills and the food quality is reflective of the price. People behind the bar were visibly working hard as it started to get really busy -- but the service was great regardless.Ambiance 5/5Service 5/5Food 5/5

The chicken sandwich was amazing and I'm not even a fan of chicken. Barely resisted ordering a second sandwich. It was amazing!
Be the first to ReplyFor what it is, I think the food is great.
You pay for the location, and in LA these prices are on par especially in the area. That said, I'm not a HUGE fan of american cuisine, but they put some asian kicks in the food that they have here. I came here on a random sunday afternoon before the rush and sat at the bar immediately. For me, the service was great the person that took my drink and food order was very friendly, and explained to me their recommendations. So I did. I got a paloma, which I'm not a drinker but this was delicious and well balanced and pretty strong. I was tipsy after one drink. I also got the famous fried chicken sandwich and their fries. All tasty. Id say it's a good place to go to if you're in the area and want to have a nice low key lunch with good cocktails. It's not super fancy by any means but it's not a hole in the wall either, but it is fancy pricing though. I came in my scrubs so what do I know about fancy places anymore. I don't care. Fries were great, good amount too, I did add in their seasoning salt that they gave me. 7/10Chicken sandwich- delicious, 7/10, I liked the bread they used with the sesame seeds on top, the slaw was good to add some moisture, still over priced.Paloma- 10/10. I'm not a big drinker and I think palomas are mid but the guy recommended it and I'm glad I got it because it was great. Like actually really great, and it was strong. Would I come back here again to eat their chicken sandwich? No. Maybe to try their burger. Would I make a trip from SGV just to go here? Absolutely not.

On a Sunday afternoon, the game was on, and it was just very very busy on an otherwise chill day. The wait is almost an hour and it is a very small area without much place to sit (opposite to its neighbor counterpart South Beverly grill). We shared a dings crispy chicken sandwich to go, and it came out to almost $25. It's a great sandwich with a crisp chicken and honey Dijon kale cabbage slaw and piece of tomatoe and provolone cheese, but for the to go aspect and the price point, there are other chicken sandwiches you can consider. It was ok to share for two mild to moderately hungry "small" people looking for a bite. Additionally, I thought it was kind of weird from a nice establishment that they wrapped a to go chicken sandwich like this- not even in a container? When we asked for utensils, they said they don't have any and we aren't allowed to eat in the front seats outside either, which I find a tad fussy, as well as emphasizing you to tip for a to go sand which they already charge that much for. All in all, it's a classic great sandwich, but there are many other great foods this city has to offer.
Be the first to ReplyExcellent service.
We were happy to find out that this is the same branch as Houstons and Hillside in Dallas. Food quality is consistent with the chain.

Located in the heart of Beverly Hills, The Honor Bar evokes elegance everywhere you turn. Serving burgers, their famous chicken sandwich and sushi, this is a great spot for a power lunch, happy hour or dinner. Like other Hillstone restaurants, the restaurant provides quality eats in a beautiful, dim-it space. Parking is available at meters on the street or at the Beverly Hills parking lot located half a block down from the restaurant.

Had no idea this was from Hillstone -- makes total sense -- the chicken sandwich is OUTTA. THIS. WORLD. get it with Serrano peppers trust me!!!! Changes the entire sandwich.

Try their beef burger, chicken sandwich, and fries definitely one of the best if not the best here in LA. Quality food, kind staff, and wonderful experience!

..Oh never mind. ;) ---------------------------------------------It is my absolute Honor to share about the place that not only meets the bar, but sets it. ย ย ย Welcome to The Honor Bar Beverly Hills. After a long day at work, whats better than grabbing a couple drinks with your coworkers? If you said driving straight home to have dinner with your wife, congratulations on being married for 2 years or less. ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย Haha. j/k babe, I love you. In all seriousness, after a long stressful day at work, grabbing a drink to let off some steam may just be exactly what you need. While on business in Beverly Hills recently, I did just that and the Honor Bar did not disappoint. Being that it was Beverly Hills, I expected nothing less than the classy vibes that this place offered, but I was also pleasantly surprised on how low key and casual it was inside. B.H. definitely has its reputation, but that doesn't mean that every establishment within the city limits needs to make you feel like you are underdressed. So pull off that Ascot, unloosen that corset and leave your top hat in the Bentley, The Honor Bar is a place to let your hair down. They have a few beers on tap, wine by the glass & classic cocktails for about $20 a pop. (It's B.H. Baby!!)Appetizers, small plates and even sushi are available, and Word on the streets is the Chicken Sandwich is the bee's knees, but this visit we were on a liquid diet and just had a side of fries to share, but I will definitely check this chicky out next time around. We sat on the bar side, but there is also a restaurant if you want a full service meal. Thank You Beverly Hills for showing me your more relaxed side; The Honor Bar is definitely a top notch place where locals and tourists can come to the watering hole together and clink their glasses together.

Hopefully management sees this and acknowledges it so I can update or remove it. So much to say but short story is I've been a regular here since they owned a million years ago, back when they played live jazz in the back. ย Tonight...wow. Never seen it this disorganized, chaotic and low quality. Sitting at the bar, it Took over 5 minutes for someone to even acknowledge me. The bartender was really nice and she doesn't have the support she needs, clearly. The floor is filthy. The walkway to the wine store next door has food scraps and napkins all over it. The Men's bathroom has overflowing trash can and no paper towels to wash your hands. ย A little fly or fruit fly was buzzing around me and my sandwich. There's a huge drunk party in the back area the size of which they never allowed before. This may all sound trivial but for those who know, this is why we go to Honor Bar, for the higher standards they usually are so good about maintaining. I sound like a picky a-hole I get it, but I've been here maybe 200 times. Tonight is not Honor Bar. It's a shell of its past. What a shame.

Dings Crispy rules over all chicken sandwiches! This place is small and the wait can be long, but that sandwich will bring you back. It's also available at Hillstone's other location in Santa Monica (R&D Kitchen).

Our brother in law recommended this place and we absolutely loved it. Honor Bar is located right next to the grill where you can also order the infamous crispy sandwich. We put our name on both waitlist and were seated earlier at Honor Bar. We sat down within 15 mins of waiting on a Wednesday at 6:00pm.If you like strong drinks, this place is a good fit. I got the cucumber martini and damn, it was alcoholic. My husband got the Double B. It was also very strong. Food, we got the fries, crispy chicken sandwich, shrimp roll & nigiri plate. The sandwich was absolutely delicious. I give it a 5/5. Crunchy, flavorful, and the right amount of food (size). Fries, I give a 3/5. Nothing spectacular about the fries besides the dipping sauces & it was good to eat since we were hungry.Nigiri plate, 4/5. You could tell the fish was fresh.Coconut Shrimp Roll: 3/5. The roll was good and I liked that it was on rice paper but there was nothing special about it. Enjoyed our time seating at the bar. Everyone was kind. The hottest was also really nice & came to find us when our table was ready. We would recommend it.
Be the first to ReplyAmazing place, love the vibes and ambiance.
All of the workers are beyond friendly and helpful, we went in on a Sunday night and they were busy but we were able to be seated within half an hour which is not bad. The food was delicious, especially their famous Ding's Crispy Chicken Sandwich was honestly to die for. Their cocktails were good as well. I'd say this place is definitely worth the hype and a perfect place if you're in Beverly and looking for a good lunch spot with amazing cocktails!

I've been meaning to dine here because I wanted to see what the hype was about regarding the honor burger. It was good but not even on my top 10 list of best burgers I've ever had. It was just good. Nothing you will day dream about having again. The fries were just average too. I did think the wine list was impressive even the wine by the glass. I would return if I was in the neighborhood to try to chicken sandwich because that honest looked better than the burger.

friendly staff and good burgers.my to go place when in the area and want a fresh burger. Then stop to they're liquor store next door to get some good whiskey thank you

If you're a fan of the consistent Hillstone Group brand of restaurants then you'll love this place. If you have no idea what that is, think upscale California casual, but you'll love this place too! Food: One of the top tier chicken sandwiches I've ever had. Perfectly fried without feeling oily, the bread is artisan and the kale salad is amazing. Great combo of flavors which you cannot go wrong with. Also, love their fries and the fact that they give you a bottle of seasoning to salt them just the way you want. Sushi- this is not your typical sushi house type but it's freaking delicious. Think sushi with an American twist that's equally respectful and equally delicious. It opens your palette to new flavors while bringing that familiarity you desire. Vibe: It's every small in there and the Beverly Hills crowd packs this place out! Just a warning. - I came here in a Thursday night around 6pm and had to wait an hour to get in. Worth it! Parking: It can be tough out there. If you know this part of Beverly Blvd. then you know the savages that drive around either hogging the street or relentlessly trying to get a meter spot. Valet is an option at the restaurant but this too can get packed. Just check your options and arrive early.
Be the first to ReplyGreat ambiance, good food, amazing drinks.
Knowledgeable staff. Dings crispy Chicken sandwich is a must, sushis are flavorful, spicy tuna roll is yummy and they know how to make drinks. Best to validate or use the city parking lot. Consider yourself lucky if you find a parking meter.

There is one really lanky, bad hair-styled hostess who works here and she kicked me out of the bar because of my attire. This white woman looked at my expensive sweater and asked if it's made from China and that it looks cute with a sarcastic smile.I ignored her ignorant comment but later she asked if I could leave saying that my outfit revealed my arms a bit too much and that they have a policy about sleeveless shirts. If you're reading this review now, I sincerely ask you get your eyes checked.Asian Hate is REAL. You are a fine example young lady
