I am very upset, we are trying to celebrate my sister in laws birthday Saturday and we cannot even get a reservation for 5 people because 4 guest are the max? Since when did this change? We have been coming here for years and always to celebrate a milestone, birthdays, anniversary's or just because. This is not the right way to treat customers that have even brought you more clients and great feedback. We are a group of 5 which normally sit in the round table and now just because we brought another person to you to feed and make you money you cannot accommodate us? This is unacceptable.

Third: They carry this "I don't care face", didn't even thank me at the end... still tipped 18% because the person I took there was my client and didn't want to look cheap. #truth

Didn't even tried the meal because the host was very rude and made my birthday dinner the worse ever. Thank you old lady for it. Next time you should let the guest know the dress code of the restaurant at the host station so we wouldn't be embarrassed of heard it in front of the others. Don't let guest seat and go in the middle of their moment and embarrassed them. Let them know before, so they could decide to stay or To leave! The manager was lovely but the host made my dinner the worse ever! I don't recommend this place.

The food is good but the attitude of management is out of control. They don't appreciate customers. We were asked to leave backside my husband was wearing a baseball cap backwards. There have been other incidents with strict silly rules about seating too. Will not be back!

The manager that works there Sydney Edelstein has a very negative attitude, if the Hillstone Group would bother to look at this site they would notice that most of the 1 star reviews dont refer to food as bad or even the service as bad they refer to this persons attitude towards the patrons and that means that she has a problem in managing this establishment and she does not represent the values of The Hillstone Group.She is angry at the world and takes it out on clients, I think she needs professional help.The restaurant business is very competitive and she is not going to be able to run this one on its high popularity without having it catch up to her sooner or later. I have been going here for many many years, as you can see from previous reviews I have made but probably won't be back.I am changing my go to restaurant to the Hillstone in Bal Harbour. where I will very happy to drop $450 dollars there rather than in this s..thole. The place isn't one but her attitude does turn into one.

If you plan on dining with your family, this is not the place. Only parties of 4 are allowed and children are not welcome. My family and I were kicked out of a table after ordering drinks because we had two lap babies with us, and, according to the incredibly rude manager CINDY, no table should have more than 4 people (we were 4 adults and 2 lap babies). No one tried to accommodate us and Cindy was happy to ask us to leave. Never going back, and neither should you!

Contacted the restaurant, and tried to make a reservation for eight, the young lady said no problem we don’t do reservations but please come in and we will accommodate. The following day we arrived after my son just got married around 4:pm and the individual that greeted us said they could not accommodate us because we were eight and they had no room. The place was not even 50% full , she had an attitude and did not even care or tried to help. Houston’s was one of my favorite restaurants with family or when traveling, after this experience I guess not, spoiled a great moment!!!

We had a birthday celebration for my girlfriend birthday. Whenever we arrive to Miami this is a must go-to location. Yes it’s very busy, however, we had a few drinks at the bar and sat outside on there outdoor patio for a few minutes for our seats to become available. Food, portions size was outstanding. They always get the Steak and we I get the salmon my husband get the veggie burger. Huston we would like to suggest to get the “IMPOSSIBLE BURGER “ Pattie’s across the board to all locations. Server very kind. This is a place you want to make reservation for prior to going. By the way- we were in Miami for 1 week and return 3x 🤫. Cheers!!

Ok at this point I've attended a reservation purchased on AT by a friend and sold a reservation personally. Both worked pretty smoothly, nothing sketchy about it. A few areas for improvement including a way to more directly communicate between buyers and sellers, but the app always seems to be in development. AT customer support is really(!) responsive and helpful too if you have questions!

Best Answer It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!

Best Answer Your bid has been “matched” with a reservation. From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.

Best Answer Hey @EvocativeFold67, welcome to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.

Best Answer Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.

What happens if my bid expires unanswered?

Best Answer Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
