Beautiful place, the decor is truly beautiful.
But the food? Overpriced and VERY underwhelming. We went right before the New YEAR and perhaps that contributed to the experience but....please, do not serve grapefruit juice which is clearly fermented. Also burata should be liquid inside and should ooze and spread lovingly while cut in half. If it doesn't, if it has crumbles inside it means only one thing, it was frozen and defrosted. WHO does that? Well, I did once and that's how I know. After that orange juice and the burrata (in fact two of them, for my adult child and myself), you kind of lost me.The presentation of the food did not match the decor, the side dishes were just veggies piled on top of plate, no garnish, no beautiful. For $20 I expect my mushrooms to be nicely presented. And my burrata fresh.I am not sure who this place caters to but the servers were either very unengaged, or so reverent as to make me uncomfortable. It gave the whole experience a little weird vibe. If you like this kind of treatment and have big bucks o spare, do go there! As I said, the decor is great!tripadvisor.com/ShowUser…

I have a group of friends and 4 out of 6 of us have birthdays at the end of Feb or beginning of March so we came here on a Saturday night for our annual birthday dinner extravaganza and it was magnificent. We started out at the bar with some amazing cocktails. The bar is beautiful and the bartenders are artists. Really exceptional. We moved into the gorgeous dining room and sat at a round table. The room was lively and there was good background music but had excellent acoustics and you could actually hear everyone at the table without shouting! It's an amazing concept that other restaurants should consider...allowing guests to be able to converse with one another in a relaxed environment. It's a key differentiator, for sure and I loved being able to connect with everyone in the group. We had several appetizers, all delicious but especially the seafood salad, the carpaccio and the mixed green salad. The popovers served when we sat down were also outstanding, esp with the herb butter that was served to accompany them. Most everyone got steak for entrees but I was already so full, I went with the mushroom pasta which was phenomenal. So rich and delicious. For sides, we had asparagus, mashed potatoes and Brussels sprouts. The sprouts were good but the potatoes were out of this world. They were on the thinner side, which I usually don't like but these transported me. I don't want to know how much butter, cream and/or salt was in them....all I want to know is how soon I'm going back to have them again. If you have a special occasion to celebrate, this should be on your list as a place to consider. This will now go into my rotation for restaurants I go to when I want to impress my guests.

Everything about this place is amazing and handles the three factors that you look for in any restaurant. FSA (Food, Service, Atmosphere). This place has it all. The food is always spectacular. I got the Hazed & Confused cocktail which was so good. Their Tiramisu is so good you wish you never tried it because it next level good. This place is great for a date, anniversary, business functions, and special occasions. I recommend this place to any foodie looking for their next culinary experience Shoutout to Matthew behind the bar. Great bartender.

Great experience! Waitress was perfectly attentive and helpful, food was outstanding, and the ambiance is exactly what you want in a Times Square Steakhouse. The only knock was that the ancillary staff (helpers, busser, etc) were a bit overbearing and the cost check took 20 minutes to find our coats.

The complimentary coat check, clean bathrooms, high ceilings, and bar space designed completely different from the main dining sets the restaurant apart from most long before the food comes out. When the drinks come, it confirms that you are indeed not in any regular restaurant. I did not order a cocktail but after tasting my partners drink, it became a shared drink. We both ordered pasta(informed that these were smaller dishes by the amazing wait staff), and sides that included Oysters, brocolini (the only item I wasn't so fond of) and the complimentary bread (so good). I will be back!
Be the first to ReplyReally great service and the octopus app was very flavorful.
The popovers were amazing. The lobster tails were fresh but lacked flavor.
Be the first to ReplyThis is the perfect restaurant for a date night.
The lighting was mellow but not too dark, the staff was incredibly nice and pleasant, and the food was amazing. Highly recommend the drinks Hazed & Confused and Bubbs on Top, and the octopus as an appetizer!

Made a reservation for my birthday for myself & a few of my family. My dad gave me a gift at dinner, which I accidentally left under my seat. We were the last table to leave that night, so I immediately call the restaurant after we left & leave a voicemail letting them know & that I'll be back the next day. No one calls back at all. I call twice more the next day and nothing. I went back when the they opened & they tell me no one saw my gift bag. Asked for a mgr, we got Duncan Glaser, Director of Operations who spoke with my mother and I & he showed absolutely no care towards my situation. He insinuated we were lying by saying maybe I took it home. We suggested he check the cameras to prove I didn't leave with it & he said no. Basically an employee found my bag & kept it. Ruined my birthday. For the amount of money to be spent on food here I would never expect to be treated like that.

Be the first to ReplyAbsolutely fabulous dinner experience.
Food was superb - juicy, well seasoned steaks, fresh seafood delivered that day, pasta made in house. Attentive and very helpful service (thank you Jorgé/George!). Large wine list with the not unexpected elevated price point mark-ups. Another perk - a heavy, serrated steak knife with a curved handle that does all the work as gravity takes over and glides through my glistening, medium rare steak with ease. Are you salivating yet? No need to be Pavlovian any longer - eat here and leave happy!

The staff was responsive from the moment we stepped into the restaurant and they checked our vaccine cards. They were kind and recommended great pairings for drinks and dessert. The sword fish was seasoned well but some of the veggies soaked up the sauce which made them taste very acidic. Overall I enjoyed the ambiance of the restaurant and the meal.

Very disappointed at the way this place handled there recent building issue. They were closed for days but I did not receive any alerts. I just happened to see on instagram the night before that they were closed. They did NOT notify RSVP ppl of this issue. I had to call multiple times to get an update. It's ok if you are waiting for conEd & don't know exactly what is going on but I had organized this celebration dinner with a group of friends weeks in advance & had you notified us sooner we could have better planned a back up place in case instead of scramming a few hours before our dinner & people coming in from out of state. Unprofessional!

A friend of mine posted on IG that food in NY isn't good and I was reminded that about that time I stumbled in Hunt & Fish. I really enjoyed my visit to NY & I'm telling everyone who I can that this place was amazing! I ordered the Lemon Chicken & although that's prob the most basic thing on the menu I was impressed. 10/10
Be the first to ReplyI honestly feel embarrassed for dining here.
An extremely expensive place with terrible martinis and mediocre food. You are uncomfortably packed in this place and it is extremely loud for some reason. The whole place smells like a bathroom before you even go downstairs to the actual bathroom. The rumor is that many celebrities frequent this place and I'm completely unsure what the draw would be. If you want an expensive dinner, with a view, with delicious food, and $25+ martinis that are actually good.. there are so many other places to go. I'm posting this because it is a complete waste of $.
Be the first to ReplyHorrible food.
The branzino was completely dry and tasteless ($41!) also brown color !!!The crabs legs tiny tasteless for $30! The worst Mac and cheese ever, too creamy and overcooked. Asparagus hard almost unbeatable. 2 people with 4 mediocre glasses of wine $280 before taxes and tip. Probably one of the worst 3 dinners in my entire life

This is place to go if want to make a great impression on a first date. It's super classy. The staffs were great, the food was super delicious. It's a bit pricey but you'll get your money's worth.
Be the first to ReplyOne of my favorite restaurants in the city.
Came for Valentine's Day and had an amazing meal. Their complimentary bread is the best I've ever had, and they have a great wine selection including Opus One.
Be the first to ReplyThe restaurant was so accommodating for our party of 16.
The steward was highly knowledgeable about all of the menu items. Also, had a great personality which made the dinner enjoyable. This is my first time visiting since the pandemic and the crab cakes are even better than before.
Be the first to ReplyThis was one of the best steak houses I've ever been to.
Everything was cooked impeccably and I was so impressed with the presentation and food quality. The flavors were exquisite and the service was great, will definitely come back! The seafood salad was very fresh and unique, full of scallops, calamari, etc flavored with lemon juice (but I would recommend to someone who doesn't like raw/cold fish). I ordered the filet mignon medium rare and it was cooked to perfection, seared perfectly on the outside and tender on the inside

I had heard so many great things about this place that i was so excited to try it and the food was just okay- The service was average. My boyfriend ordered a whisky sour it was literally done in 2 sips they fill the cup up with so much ice you can't even enjoy it. We asked for more bread because the bread is delicious and they gave us 1 piece extra as if they were rationing out the bread lol for this caliber of restaurant 1 piece of bread was disappointing. The lobster was tough and over cooked, the scallops were salty. The best dishes we had were the lobster gnocchi, the steak and the Mac and cheese side. The octopus was good too. Everything else was meh. The scallops below average, the lobster tail, below average, drinks below average. When I got out to eat to spend over $300+ on dinner I'm expecting over the top service, outstanding food, a memorable experience that I want to tell everyone. This was not that. I was expecting to be wowed! Average experience.

We came here for my sisters birthday last night, it was great and all but then the bill came. They over charged us and added an extra $320 to our bill for a cake they told us was going to be complimentary. This increased our bill with all the extra supplemental charges. They didn't give us an itemized bill when we were paying so we couldn't tell what we were paying for. We called and disputed and the only response they offered was a $50 gift card. That's so wrong for making a promise and going back on that. They didn't even tell us the a la carte was $100/ person instead they brought out the menu for us to pick to later tell us because we picked our entrée from the menu the cake was no longer complimentary.

Food was delicious but our server was outstanding! Hubby got swordfish. It was a perfect sized portion and not overly flavorful, just right. I got the boneless rib eye it was what you would expect from a ribeye nothing special. Our sides were tater tots that were recommended however we didn't care. The creamed spinach was to die for! We also indulged in the grilled bacon which was very fatty, good thing we added the beet salad. Star of the night was the pop overs they served to start!
Be the first to ReplyAn extremely over priced and underwhelming experience start
An extremely over priced and underwhelming experience start to finish. My old fashion was watered down. My wedge salad did not represent a wedge salad at all. The truffle tater tots have zero salt and zero flavor. Although the ribeye steak was cooked correctly to medium rare, it was tough and flavorless.I can only assume that the head chef was there on a Friday night but it certainly did not appear to be the case. I'm pretty sure if they would taste everything that came out of the kitchen that nothing would've come to my table this evening. I don't believe that they understand the importance of using a little salt in their meals.
Be the first to ReplyGreat experience, beautiful decor and tasty food.
The staff is very welcoming to each client that walked in. The ambiance is romantic, dark yet candle lit. The music is on shuffle but really good vibes from Michael jackson, to Marvin Gaye, to dance/house music then Rihanna (you get the drift). Our waiter, MATT, made all the difference tl our experience. Without him, it would feel like an ordinary nice restaurant. With him, it felt comfortable and like our opinion mattered. He recommended the absolute best dishes to try and his confidence helped us order everything he suggested. I can 100% tell you to trust what he says. The food was so great and filling (from the appetizers to dessert). He even made a miracle happen to make something that was off menu and that made my entire night. He engaged with us the entire time to make sure we enjoyed every bit of our experience AND to make sure his suggestions met our expectations. I was emotionally and physically satisfied with our dinner. We will gladly come back for their spring menu to see what they have to offer!
