Ordered fried rice and it did not have any flavor. The portion was too small. Duck was good but they didn't bring one of the side dishes that was supposed to serve with the duck until we were done eating the duck. Service was good but since they forgot to bring our dish I don't know how I feel about it. The ambiance was nice tho.

Hutong Miami, open for several years, continues to maintain (& improve!) its’ outstanding high-end Chinese cuisine. Service, ambiance, and menu items are all excellent. Outdoor covered patio dinning (Brickell plaza) is lovely; the restaurant interior is gorgeous. We enjoyed: Specialty cocktails (Golden flower, Mandarin sour, House Margarita, others) - excellent drinks! Delicious appetizers - Spinach/Mushroom dim sum, Lobster bao buns, scallop won ton - yum!! Peking duck - served as 2 DELICIOUS courses Vegetable noodles - MUST TRY DELICIOUS!! Chinese broccoli - perfect Beef tenderloin - succulent Wok-fried sea bass - excellent Yummy desserts - Ma La Chocolate (Yum!!!), Mango ice cream too!! All-in-all, for a FANTASTIC high-end Chinese restaurant experience, Hutong Miami can’t be topped!!

- Came here specifically for their peking duck- I've had peking duck in a few American cities and I will say this experience definitely topped them all- I really enjoyed the first course but the second course was a little bit odd. I've never had sautéed duck + beans with lettuce wraps as part of peking duck before. Could definitely do without it. Next time I'll just order half of the duck. - Service from the waiters were great- The host at the front desk was extremely rude. I thought hosts were supposed to be warm and friendly.

On Thursday once a month Hutong Miami offers a discovery menu with all you can eat options for the starters. Delicious dumplings of all sorts come your way in a course of a 2 hour experience. We loved it. The atmosphere was festive, the service adequate and both the fire juggler woman and the DJ were enjoyable indeed.

The scenery was beautiful. The food was ok. Everything was a little spicy for me. It was no different than eating at PF Chang. They should really REMOVE the chili peppers because you can't bit into them or eat them. They just kind of in the way and you end up picking them from your food. Would I come back? No. I'd rather go to PF Chang. I came. I saw. That's enough.

Great service and great food! Love this dinner spot! Everyone was kind and helpful. We also got the duck (I forgot to take a pic) and is was absolutely delicious!! They even brought us more sides without us asking! Also, I want to point out I have gone to Hutong before and didn't have the best experience but genuinely Miami's demographic is changing so much I notice server experiences being much more enjoyable. So if you had a bad experience before, try it out again!

Service was a bit slow especially considering it was not a busy night . The food was good but not as good as other Hutong's that I have been to. The duck and pancakes were the best! Lighting was a bit dark (difficult to read a menu) and the music was slightly too loud given it was still early in the evening .

I ordered the lobster and shrimp soup, kung po chicken, and seafood fried rice which has shrimp and scallops. I also ordered the bao dessert served with soymilk ice scream and a sparking water. The food is too expensive and not worth it. Our bill was $120. Kung po had too many chilies making too spicy to eat. I woke up this morning with food poisoning I have been vomitting and have diarrhea all day. All of my muscles ache from vomitting so much. I'm having to force feed myself crackers ginger ale and water so i don't exhaust myself from having nothing to vomit. I'm writing this post hopefully to incite sympathy from somebody and prayers that I can recover. I'm only in miami for a week and I lost the opportunity to explore and enjoy my day. Thank you.

Sadly our dinner was close to a disaster, we were greeted by a charming waitress, who we hardly saw for the rest of the evening. Service was extremely slow, if at all, apparently they were short of a chef in the kitchen, by the time the second course of lettuce wraps was supposed to be delivered, after our whole duck, we were ready to leave, we could not sit waiting anymore, they gave it to us to go, when I opened it the next day, there was less than a tablespoon of chicken in the package with about six pieces of lettuce, a disgrace for the price of the meal. What a shame, I might add I have eaten at Hutong all over the world, this is such a beautiful restaurant, what a shame their service is so bad, hence it was empty

Terrible! Service was slow & bad. Music too loud. The Peking duck served without any garnish. Dry bland, greasy. The branzino was swimming in chili oil, no texture. The only good thing was the dim sum. Never again. Plus the check was $320. Not worth it.

I went for lunch for the Miami Spice ($28). I was disappointed. The soup took forever, I had to ask. The real issue was the main course, or le plat principal. Choices were disappointing. I ordered the salad with duck. The salad was dry cole slaw, with ZERO dressing on it, and maybe 6 strips of duck, the size of shoe-string potato sticks. I sent it back. Manager was very nice. They put salad dressing on the cole slaw. I’m sorry, is this the best they can do? The dessert was the highlight of the lunch, and was very good. Hutong was disappointing, I have been to other Miami Spice venues which were very good.

We we're staying near this spot while in Brickle for a few days so we decided to try it. No reservation but there was plenty of seating available. It was the beginning of Miami Spice but this place wasn't offering any prefix menu like the other places. We ordered the brown rice which was tasty, Ordered the Wagyu beef with cabbage for appetizer this one was surprisingly crunchy with really good taste and saucy. Shout out to our server "Ernesto" Lol he was helpful with helping chose our options. Also ordered the Kung Pao chicken and it was a delightful taste. The ambience is really mellow not loud at all but nice for a first date to get to know someone.

To simply share that this is the best dim sum I have ever eaten would be a crime. Hutong is the best dim sum I have ever eaten but I cannot stop there. We were in Miami with just 2 nights to enjoy and show off the city to our kids, who had never really been there other than Key Biscayne. We started walking from our hotel Epic and were exploring looking for Asian food. When we discovered to our disappointment that the hibachi restaurant across the street from Hutong was literally a little fast food express place that served hibachi kinda like how Panda Express is supposed to be Chinese food, we thought there was no way we would get into Hutong on a Thursday night... we tried anyway and to our complete surprise... we were in and the food was incomparable! The food at Hutong is divine. The hostess was very accommodating even if we could not get her to smile... she did seat our party of 5 in less than 3 minutes without reservations, so there is that! Our server was incredible. Great table manners, very knowledgeable and extremely likable. If I lived in Miami, I would absolutely be a regular. Needless to say, I will be back at Hutong next trip to Miami!

Not only was the food amazing but the manager Kathy went above and beyond to exceed our expectations. She welcomed us with a warm and gorgeous smile and her energy was what carried us through the night. She deserves a promotion or some sort of outstanding recognition. I have eaten at great restaurants all over the world but have never experienced such amazing service or treatment by any waitstaff or management. Kathy was honest, exuberant, and bright. She made us laugh, gave us great advice on what to order. And really treated us like family. In terms of the food, the duck was amazing and so was the prawn rolls.

Service was great which pushed the 4 stars and a good amount of vegetarian options that other restaurants don't have.Started off with vegetarian spring rolls that were really good, the only down fall on this was the price, it was like $16 more than the entree and most restaurant spring rolls are around $8.00 I would say. I realized it didn't come with sauce and I asked for a side for sauce and was brought with soy sauce and chilli sauce. Later a lady brought out her signature sauce that told me that goes great with the vegetarian spring rolls.For the main I got the vegetarian fried noodles which were good, I did have to add the chilli sauce to give it a kick. The bao and soy dessert was different and a win with the party. The other umami dessert we weren't a fan of. The rest of the group had non veg and they enjoyed their food.Decor was nice. Food was food. DJ had music going on that wasn't too loud. When I had to box my food they boxed it and gave me a number to keep and to ask for it up front. There is valet parking for over $10 or parking garage that's $10 next to it.

We came here for dinner and were super happy with the food and service. We ordered the half Peking duck. It tasted perfect and was in good portion for two. The Peking duck has two portions, the regular duck with pancakes and the meat from the bones with lettuce wrap as 2nd course. Both were top notch. The pancake was skin thin and served hot. The duck was tender with crispy skin. They also offered additional pancakes, cucumbers and spring onions. Our server was super nice and helpful. He checked on us a few times and helped to keep the dish warm. The decor of this restaurant was phenomenal and up to date. The brick wall and Tree with Antithetical couplet made it special. We always try Peking duck if the restaurant has it on the menu when we travel across the country. This is the best in terms of food quality and service!!! We really enjoyed our dinner here and would strongly recommend this place if you visit Miami downtown and would like to have some Chinese food.

I genuinely do not understand the low ratings here and the high ratings across the street (starts with a K). The service, food, and ambiance here is phenomenal. The duck? Incredibly good and super generous portions. Anything that they don't fillet, they make a lettuce roll type of plate as a second course. Oliver was our server and we were so impressed by his attention. We just moved back to miami after a few years in D.C. where the service is terrible, and the cost of dining is high -- and this was our first dining experience back and it was so so incredibly good!!!!!!

The environment and serve is 5 star. But the food is not very good if you have a Chinese and beijingnese appetite. The restaurant is supposed to be beijing cuisine right? After all it's called Hutong (a beijing term for alley type places). I don't understand the hype.

Ok at this point I've attended a reservation purchased on AT by a friend and sold a reservation personally. Both worked pretty smoothly, nothing sketchy about it. A few areas for improvement including a way to more directly communicate between buyers and sellers, but the app always seems to be in development. AT customer support is really(!) responsive and helpful too if you have questions!

Best Answer It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!

Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.

Where do the Reservations on AppointmentTrader come from?

Best Answer Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.

What happens if my bid expires unanswered?

Best Answer Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
