I can't speak to the service here because I came for an event and the food was laid out for us to take from, but they did refill the food timely. We sat outdoors and it was nice and roomy. Also, the food was delicious! We were served coconut chicken fingers, burgers and crinkle cut fries. The curry aioli for the chicken fingers were bomb and the chicken fingers themselves were nice and crispy. Crinkle cut fries were crispy and potatoey, just the way I like it. While I did not pay for this meal, I did look at the menu prices for these items and they seem on par with the area. I would definitely come back if I was looking for food in Hudson yards and maybe try some other items!

A great and unexpected find on a summer Saturday afternoon; The DJ definitely set the vibes with the upbeat techno/ deep house music . I felt like I was in MIA or Ibiza, by the seaside having a couple drinks . The food was just as good, we got the Jibs and big Khuana burgers, wings with ranch sauce and sodas. Both burgers was cooked to perfection, mediumRare Pattie's piled on with beacon, pineapple and other toppings . Both served with potato chips . We also ordered two orders of French fries( cooked well with enough salt to add taste but not over power it).

Right in front of the Vessel, very touristy and the a great spot for happy hour after work in Hudson Yards. Keep in mind that this is an outdoor place so consider the weather conditions when visiting the place, not ideal if windy and rainy days. Food and price is average considering the area is a tourist spot.

A great place to watch a football game from the Hudson Yard big screen. You order your food & drinks from the bar but both were excellent!!

Jibs was a delicious place to go to if you have a craving for seafood we basically ordered everything on the menu and it was delicious. Their banana spilt was so good. It had chocolate, vanilla, and coffee nut ice cream and waffle that was coated with sugar and toasted banana . Definitely recommend to go to Jibs

We are boycotting jibs for the dj, the anger that I realized my roll and cocktail was 50 dollars, the smelly bathrooms, the waiter, the red spotted lantern fly that landed in my hair, the check taking too long so we missed out on shopping. Beware of the average looking white boy server who looks 16- he didn't give us any attention bc he was more focused on getting a bigger tip with a larger party.
Be the first to ReplySuch a cute spot to go have drinks after work.
It is an outdoor restaurant. I believe they have a roof that may retract in bad weather. Went with a bunch of people for work. Staff was quick to bring out the food and drinks. Drinks were strong !!!!! Great place
Be the first to ReplyI loved it here.
The service was great , food was great , drinks were great. The vibe was amazing. We found seats easily. 10/10

I wouldn't come back here even if it was a free all-you-can-eat-and-drink buffet. Garbage music from a DJ that sounds like every overpriced cheesy AF hotel lobby in South Beach, Ibiza, Downtown LA, etc.....the crowd looks like all the suckers who got taken by the Fyre Festival. Average age is 23.Made a reservation for a booth, asked to be on the outer perimeter, upon arrival we were put in an interior booth, was told the outers were reserved to which I said, "No $hit. I reserved one". Still got no clear answer as to why but in the entire hour that we were there, TWO of those outer booths sat empty.Ordered draft beer which came out warm. On a 90-degree, 55% humidity day. BAD, a lot.Fish and chips previously frozen. Skewers over cooked and all WAY over-priced.This is place is for dumb rich kids and tourists. The booth next to us was overly-packed with drunk 20-somethings drinking Narragansett Light at $8 per. A six-pack doesn't even cost $8. It's that kind of dumb here.

Went there on a Thursday night recently and the music was so loud that I couldn't hear myself think - let alone have a conversation. If you're seated close to the speakers be seriously careful about potential hearing loss. The $18 clam chowder might have been Campbell's.
Be the first to ReplyIt's fine.
It's a tourist spot. You eat here for the good vibes and the location. Not cheap- but cheaper than a resturant IN the mall. The pizza - not a classic New York pizza but it was tasty and good to share.
Be the first to ReplyGreat vibe, good food.
Good, strong margaritas. Good for our kids as well as we were visiting the area. The fish and chips were fresh and good! Tyler was so kind and a great server. Thanks!

Eh. I was very excited to go here as I work in Hudson Yards. The hostess was adorable. The server was fine. The prices were hefty. And the bathroom was a .... Portapotty. In my opinion, that is UNACCEPTABLE for a venue that is this expensive. Also not sure about why they need at DJ at like 730.
Be the first to ReplyGreat place, awesome atmosphere and service was on point.
Brought a large group of 10 for dinner on a holiday weekend. Nice setting (feels like an outdoor rooftop), drinks and food was very solid. Will be back!

Possibly the rudest hostess/manager we've ever had the misfortune of meeting. We certainly won't be going back.
Be the first to ReplyGreat location, but disappointing otherwise.
An unwelcome addition to Hudson Yards - the neighborhood was quite attractive ahead of this establishment. Think bathrooms in a pulled up trailer (not joking), extremely watered down cocktails, and food freshly heated from the freezer of the the 7-11 down the street.
Be the first to ReplyAvoid this place like it is Fauci giving advice on COVID.
Horrible service and overpriced food and beer. Thank you Jibs for your ungodly horrible service focusing only the women at the restaurant. I will ensure every academy student that visits this city will avoid you solely because of your crappy service.
Be the first to ReplyJibs was a wonderful place to have an evening dinner.
The ambience was nice with at sea decorum. I felt as if i was on a restaurant on a ship. The staff was very attentive and friendly. The drinks were good i had the Casamigos margarita! The food was good (burger with fries) and came out fast and hot. There's some alternative music and a nice deck lookout point with a gorgeous sunset view ! Plus it's located by the amazing Vessel and High-line rail walkway. I'd definitely recommend this restaurant for family ; friends ; coworkers and date nights. Child friendly!

I was prepared to love this place--open air dining in Hudson Yards. However, the service left a lot to be desired. There is a full menu of food and drinks but no wait staff to take your order, just servers to deliver it. We went there for lunch and the host directed us to a table and told us we had to order our food and drinks at the bar. There is no designated person or area to order your food and drinks. The bar is busy and you have to be lucky enough to catch the attention of a bartender i to order and gesture to where you are sitting. My wine came in a glass with a big crack in it. The servers do not seem to be informed of where you are sitting--we saw the server walking around with our order looking for the right table and when we told her she said she had to check before she would give it to us. The food is not cheap--a salad with protein starters at $25. But without a designated area to place your order and a better way to denote your table the service makes this more of a place to get drinks and not food. The food, by the way, was good. I hope that the restaurant which is fairly new hones their ordering and serving system as time goes on because this is a nice spot and the food is good.
