Came for dinner on Sunday night and it was probably among one of the best meals I have ever had. I honestly can't say much other than to echo the thoughts of other reviewers in that the food was delicious, the space was cozy and comfortable, and the $135 tasting menu is actually very good value. Service was top-tier-- friendly yet professional and so attentive (refilling waters, removing plates at the right time, perfectly spacing out the courses). - Caviar Kim: so freaking yummy, the caviar and crispy seaweed are just too good.- Uni Kim (add on): so fresh and delicious. Instant serotonin for me.- Striped Jack: as with all of the other fish on this menu, SO FRESH. They describe the sauce as an "orange ginger" sauce, but that sells it so short. This sauce is smokey, complex in flavor, and pairs so wonderfully with the fish. I couldn't help but drink it all up with the spoon...- Jook: oh my goodness. Probably my favorite thing, this was so comforting to eat. Creamy and flavorful, the rice was a great texture and the foie gras + scallops elevated the flavor and added that "luxurious" touch to this classic Korean dish.- Nong-eo: so good, not a single trace of unpleasant "fishy" flavor. This branzino was prepared fairly simply, but the flavors still come together so well and the skin was wonderfully crispy.- Duck & Chan: wow. The duck was so tender and the skin was perfectly charred and fatty. The banchan are so cute and each item is packed with flavor to create a little bite-sized party in your mouth.- Citrus: simple but refreshing dessert! The meringue is so light and great with the sorbet.- Goguma Juak: exceptional texture. Crisp on the outside, chewy on the inside. Delicious sweet potato flavor. Served slightly warm and is a match made in heaven with the cold brown butter ice cream.I loved this meal so. much. Every single dish hit, which I don't know that I can say about any other tasting menu I've tried! I would come back here in a heartbeat for my next special occasion.
