Solo dined here on a Tuesday night for an 8:30pm reservation. I really cannot do the food justice - it was all so immaculate and one of my favorite meals ever. Modern minimalist ambiance with dark woods and metal and barely any decor on the walls. Not too dimly lit or anything. The service was so excellent. They checked on me regularly and always refilled my drinks. They explained each course clearly, and they were all friendly. I really appreciated that they sat me at a table. I think they had the opportunity to seat me at the bar (not sure if they actually seat at the bar), but I hate dining at a bar, especially because their bar is just up against the entrance. I liked sitting right in the middle of the restaurant because it felt immersive, even though I was clearly the only solo diner in at least half the restaurant lol. It was 7 courses, and I think my favorite was the striped jack. It was a raw dish, and the mix of flavors was just so bright and smooth and perfectly balanced between the fish and the sauce. My second favorite was probably the 2nd dessert, which was a goguma (a Korean sweet potato donut) with brown butter ice cream. The texture of the goguma was a bit sticky and hard to eat with a fork, but that is absolutely not a complaint. It was so delectable, and I wish I could eat that and the ice cream for the rest of my life.
