Absolutely A Top Quality Dining Experience
We dined recently as a group of (4) visiting from country New South Wales. Jung Sung is a "special" restaurant tucked away in a "foodie" strip not far from Broadway. The service from John and waitstaff was excellent and the food courses of the highest quality created with much finesse. Also the wine list was absolutely top line plus there is an accompanying wine course if you wish. Ambience and lighting perfect! A special restaurant for special occasions.

Went here for dinner and had the 6 courses ($108 with matched drinks ($70). Service, ambiance, drinks and food were all spot on. Loved everything, but my favourite was the Moreton Bay bug 2 ways. Good value, and would highly recommend.

The food and service were great this is fine dining so bring your check book as it is expensive but the flavours and presentation were so different that we enjoyed the evening the only thing we didnโt enjoy was the bill at the end

Really good fine dining experience. One of the very few Korean Contemporary fine dining restaurants. All the plates are well presented and the food not just look good but also taste very good with well balanced sweet sour and saltiness. The surprise at the end of the 6 courses is the signature dessert : Sweet Corn custard, that looks like real sweet corn.

Really excellent Korean Australian fusion food, I would just ask the chefs to be bolder with the Korean flavors. If you were blind folded, I donโt think you would have definitively said courses 1 & 2 were Korean

This is Korean food with a difference. The 6 course degustation for $108 was great value and presented a range of their special dishes. The Soy Marinated bug was perfectly cooked and had a lovely taste while the outstanding dish for me was the Berkshire pork with pear puree and native macadamias - delicious ! The Riverina lamb was also a hit while the two desserts - a sweet corn custard with pistachios and a milk ice
cream with puffed rice was the perfect finish to the meal. They have an interesting range of Korean wines and fortifieds which go well with the food. All in all, an excellent dining experience.
Excellent Korean fine dining!
While the Travelmints team was spending a week working in Sydney, we had a craving for Korean cuisine. It was a Wednesday night, and we'd been mainly eating either at home, or fast food. We love Korean BBQ, and it's not often you come across fine Korean dining.
We headed along to Jung Sung during dinner time, and we found that the place was very dark, with a minimalist fit-out. The venue is nice but feels a little bare and lacking character. Some interior design could lift the vibe and enhance the Korean characteristics of the food.
The wait staff people were polite. It's quite a new venue, and we got the vibe that the floor staff were still getting the hang of things. They did give us a detailed rundown of each course and ingredients which we found useful.
Jung Sung have a set menu, and we ordered the 5-course option, but they also do a 6-course option as well. If you can fit in the 6-course option, then do it - you won't regret it! Maybe eat a light lunch on that day and enjoy a few matched wines with dinner and enjoy the experience.
They were kind enough to let us swap a dessert with a course. We had: Red snapper, catch of the day, Morton bay bug 2 ways, Berkshire pork and MB 9+ Wagyu beef. The Morton bay bug 2 ways in a Bibimbap was excellent and so unique. Each dish is extremely detailed with many ingredients and components.
To accompany the meal, we had some gin martinis, which were excellent. Although the bar doesn't have an extensive collection, we have no doubt that this place knows how to serve decent classic cocktails. This is an experience that's perfect for a mid-week date!
