Food - Sides : Side of basmati rice, fennel cesar and baklava. Entrees: Short rib, hanger steak and schnitzel. In depth notes on the food: Schnitzel was fried with kadaif which is unorthodox for schnitzel but had an extra texture and flavor to it. Short rib had very earthy and deep flavor. Hanger steak had a slight coffee flavor. Everything was delicious. Service: Very nice and professional service. Ambiance: Very vast restaurant, nice decor and music. Also baby friendly. Highly recommended.
Be the first to ReplyExcellent excellent excellent all around.
I will go back just for the atmosphere and the well lit Atrium seating with plants. Food is amazing, lots of dynamic flavors. Had the Lamb for 2 ... wow.

Okay So decor i feel like I'm anywhere, hotel nothing Williamsburg about it. Super confused by staff they do not look like they belong in a trendy eatery. Food - brunch - eggs too undercooked Coffee super bitter
Be the first to ReplyThe food in the service is really good.
I had went for dinner and I also went for brunch and both experiences were really amazing. The food is great. I will definitely go back.

I ordered an Old Fashioned with Angel's Envy Rye and it was $26. It was wonderful, so I thought it was worth the high price. Tonight I ordered the exact same drink and it was $32.99. If you are over 30 years old, you will be charged more .
Be the first to ReplyBest meal I had during my 5 day NYC visit.
If you're looking for vibrant, delicious foods, in a gorgeous setting with colorful tiles surrounded by plants, k'far is for you! Everything we ordered: Chai tea with oat milk - perfect amount of spice and sweetness. Crispy mushroom hummus - I hate mushrooms but I dipped around the mushrooms and oh my word. Creamy hummus and the absolute softest and chewiest pita I've ever had. I probably could've had the whole plate as my entire meal. Jerusalem bagel with egg and cheese - I love sandwiches that actually fit in your mouth. The cheese was SO melty and rich, the egg was fluffy, and the schug added another flavor dimension and is a great touch. Very filling and I'm glad I only ate half. Shashuka - tomatoey egg-y goodness! Very flavorful, fun to dip pita in. Pistachio sticky buns - my absolute favorite. Soft, sweet, glazed goodness. My only regret was not ordering 3 to go. I only got 1 to go and we fought over it the next day. Great experience and would come back next time I'm in Brooklyn! And if you're ever in Philadelphia, check out their sister restaurant Zahav (also PHENOMENAL). Service was quick and courteous.

We love her!!! The vibe in this place is vibing! Its in the same building as Lazer Wolf if you have been there. We had 2 pastries: almond crossaint and the pistachio sticky bun. I am a pistachio whore and I didnt think the sticky bun was worth ordering again.. however, the almond croissant made up where the pistach lacked. I also had the Jerusalem bagel and iced coffee; both were very good. If you are a green plant, earthy vibe person; just go. The space is amazing
Be the first to ReplyGreat Great place.
We were welcomed by the friendliest Host and taken to a table in what seemed like a garden. The space is filled with the greenest plants and it is warm and cozy. The menu for lunch was really awesome. We started with a hummus with green chickpeas in the middle that we devoured, not only cuz we were hungry but because it was so delicious. Served with warm pita breads this was perfect. An Arabic salad was also delicious, and what may have seemed ordinary, an egg sandwich on a Jerusalem Bagel was anything but ordinary. So tasty, as was the smoked salmon sandwich. There is also a chicken soup, really tasty and save room for some of the great pastries too, from the chocolate rugala to the pistachio sticky bun to the almond danish, yummy all the way. Perfect.

In the bubble gum pink dining room of K'Far, chef Michael Solomonov (of Laser Wolf and Zahav fame), opened this well lit dining room in the Hoxton Hotel. This is where Williamsburg tech workers find themselves parked on their laptops around the lobby. The pistachio sticky bun and fig and ricotta toast are what I came for, with the bun living up to the hype and is the size of an adult human hand. The food has the integrity and satisfying richness you don't always find at all day restaurants. The cozy, inviting setting of K'Far makes it a compelling spot for a weekend brunch or a place to work from on a weekday afternoon. While the beautiful Hoxton Hotel lobby offers a similar vibe, the food at K'Far makes a strong case for planting yourself at one of their tables.
Be the first to ReplyThis restaurant/café is soo aesthetically pleasing.
It's chic, it's cozy, it's the perfect spot for a brunch with friends or even to get some work done. I sat in the restaurant area (there is a separate area for the café) and enjoyed a nice lunch with my friend. We got the mushroom hummus (highly recommend- soo delicious!), the pistachio sticky bun (good but super heavy, couldn't eat more than half), the tuna melt (my friend got this and it was huge, she really enjoyed it) and the shakshuka (this was my meal and it was good!). Their pita bread is also really soft and delicious. I definitely understand why this place has such good reviews because I can't wait to come back!
Be the first to ReplyI for one am ready to accept the Michael Solomonov empire
I for one am ready to accept the Michael Solomonov empire with open arms. Dizengoff came and went in Chelsea Market much too soon, and while there's no sign of a Federal Donuts in NYC yet, I'm hoping it's only a matter of time. And do I even need to mention Zahav...Anyway, a NY location of his lauded spot Laser Wolf is in this same hotel (will review that in full shortly), and downstairs is a very, very good cafe that's a lot easier to get into. Made a reservation for breakfast on a holiday Monday and had an amazing meal here. I tried:+ Cold brew+ Hot coffee - both coffees were great+ Pistachio sticky bun - as perfect as ever says + Challah and almond danish - sleeper hit, just as good as the pistachio+ Chocolate rugelach - good but you can get better elsewhere+ Egg and cheese on Jerusalem bagel - awesome+ Apple babka - awesome x 2The pastries are top-notch, and the egg and cheese was the ideal savory counterpart. Would return for lunch or dinner - the salads look so good!

I've stayed with the hotel several times and this review is only for the K'Far Bar as I haven't got a chance to try their food. The drinks I tried were all great and my favorite cocktail from this place is the Passion Cuckoo!! The bar area is cozy, clean and beautiful. Its never too crowded so you can still have conversations. Would recommend to anyone visiting the Williamsburg area.
Be the first to ReplyK'Far Cafe in Philadelphia is one of my favorite
K'Far Cafe in Philadelphia is one of my favorite restaurants, but... dare I say... K'Far's Brooklyn location might be even better. I can't make a direct comparison since the Philadelphia location doesn't have dinner service, and I ate dinner at the Brooklyn location, but the breakfast/brunch offerings seem to be the same, and the dinner service was truly outstanding. It was very much a mix of dishes/cuisines that you'd probably find at Zahav and Abe Fisher in Philly, but with a twist and some unique menu offerings as well. The cod chraime might be the best fish dish I've ever eaten, and the chicken schnitzel was a show-stopper as well, with a crispy exterior that resembled the texture of kanafi. The chocolate kanafi itself was an amazing end to the meal, which also featured incredible service and a spectacularly decorated interior. K'Far is an absolute must-try!
Be the first to ReplyThe best thing here was the PISTACHIO pastry.
Oh my goodness this pistachio sticky bun was seriously 10 out of 10. Was definitely sweet, but the pistachio & stickiness really added this dimension. The sticky bun was perfectly soft. Will definitely be back for this! The Jerusalem bagel smoked salmon ($17) had a delicious crunch but not Anything extraordinary. 7-8/10. We did not have a reservation so walked in and you choose a seat in the café area. Or you can get the pastries to go. This cafe has a chill / Brooklyn vibe!!Nice staff & oat milk latte was creamy and warm.
Be the first to ReplyHighly recommend.
Went for dinner last night and had a wonderful time. There is a bar/cafe are as well as full dining room with a great ambiance. The staff was super helpful. Our hostess Arianna was so kind and welcoming. She told us all her favorite dishes and what was a must try. Our server Christian was amazing. He gave also gave us recommendations and answered all our questions about the menu. He was incredibly nice, attentive, and made our experience there. We tried everything he recommended (Tuna Crudo, Lamb Tartare, Halibut) and the food was delicious. I'll be back for dinner and definitely want to try their brunch soon :)
Be the first to ReplyWhen I stay in the Hoxton Hotel, K'ar is my go to breakfast
When I stay in the Hoxton Hotel, K'ar is my go to breakfast spot. This review is solely on the breakfast. Everything I've had so far has been delicious, the yogurt and their many toasts, with the avocado toast being my favorite. The restaurant is nice, quiet, and warm. There is a lot of seating but it can get crowded with guests checking in and out of the hotel. I love their coffee bar that they recently opened, even though I don't drink coffee, it has a lot of other drink offerings and it is conveniently located. The staff is super friendly and I feel like I'm never waiting too long for the food to come out. Love sitting at the bar!

The space is absolutely gorgeous and the service was great! The food came quickly and they didn't rush us at all. I absolutely ADORE the Philadelphia location's food and was so excited for a location in Brooklyn. Sadly, the food was not up to par with the original Philly spot. We still liked it, but the egg and cheese Jerusalem bagel was way over-toasted (almost burned) and the rugelach (my absolute favorite from Philly) was super dry. I literally went to the Philly location the day after coming to the Brooklyn one, and the rugelach was sooooo moist, so I know it was not my imagination. I'm hoping this is growing pains as a new location and I definitely want to come back for lunch or dinner! I'll just have to stick to weekend Philly trips for the life-changing pastries.
Be the first to ReplyStopped here with friends for brunch and had a great time
Stopped here with friends for brunch and had a great time overall. The atmosphere and and ambience was beautiful and open. For drinks we tried the apple and honey , wine and their version of the Arnold Palmer with passion fruit. All drinks were good and our bar tender was absolutely amazing. I believe his name is Nico. He is the best friendly, attentive and helpful. For food we tried the smoked salmon & egg Jerusalem bagel sandwhich. I personally ordered the Tunisian Salad which was ok. I've never had anything like it before was a burst of various flavors we also had a Pistachio sticky bun which was delicous!

Really cute space with delicious but sweeet pastries and coffee. Highly highly recommended! We got the Yemenite coffee which is delicious but heavy. The egg sandwich ( tbh I like the one in Philly more), the boureka which was divine and the pistachio bun which was delicious but incredibly sweet!
Be the first to ReplyWow, the pastries here are DIVINE.
This review will be solely based on their cafe offerings, but after trying even that out, I would love to come for a restaurant meal. I came in on a weekday afternoon and was lucky enough to find seating in the cafe/lobby/bar area -- it's pretty packed and a lovely place to do work, so keep in mind if you're keeping here to do work or even chill, you may have to be patient when finding a seat or come fairly early. My friend and I tried the Pistachio Sticky Bun, Apple Babka, and Olive Feta Boreka. The pastries are incredibly fresh and tasted fantastic with a good Yemenite Latte (which is what I ordered, my friend got a regular cappuccino and they were both good). Buttery pastries with soft texture and great flavor profiles. I can't wait to come back and try everything else on the menu, for both the cafe and restaurant! Would definitely make the trek to Williamsburg just to come here.

We came in for Valentine's Day and our experience was amazing! The space is absolutely beautiful, and the service is great. We moved from Philly and have been to the original K'Far many times, but sadly they stopped serving the dinner menu during the pandemic.Fennel Caesar - It was really flavorful and served warm over dressing, so not a classic caesar!Baklava - It was a nice twist on baklava with great salty-and-sweet flavor combination Bone In Shortrib - This was showstopper of the meal was hands down. It was unbelievable. It was so tender that we were able to pull out the bone and shred it with a fork, and the sauce was similar to that of a classic Jewish brisket, in the best way. With braised cabbage (came with the Short Rib) and potatoes (added), this was the perfect amount for two people, plus leftovers. The cocktails are a bit overpriced ($18) but that's to be expected for a restaurant of this level in this area, so you can stick to wine.
Be the first to ReplySuper disappointing.
While the food came out fast, it was devoid of taste. If you end up going, avoid the short rib at all costs, it was pure fat and made me nauseous having one bite. Further the waitress brought me a diet pepsi when I asked for a diet coke and then wouldn't admit it, and everyone at the table tried it and agreed. Petty, but annoying.
