Hosted a monthly supper club here, and the members loved the decor and food here.Cocktail, had the Lao Lao Sour : Lao Lao Sour, Cognac, Pineapple & Peach - tart, fruity, and not too strong, it was a great accompaniment to the seriously flavorful dishes we enjoyed.Berkshire Pork Spring Rolls: Sweet Carrot Peanut Sauce, Fresh Herbs & Lettuces - the party unanimously loved this. Came out piping hot, steaming and crispy (I may or may not have burned myself scarfing this down)Lemongrass Chicken Sausage: Rau-Rum, Lettuce & Sweet Peanut Sauce - this only comes with one sausage, so if you have big eaters you may need more than one order. I can only handle the lower levels of spicy hell, and this one had a serious mouth tingling kick. The rest of the party however adored this and actually kept the sauce on the side to save for later dish dipping.Crispy Pork Belly Wrap: Sweet Carrot Peanut Sauce & Rice Vermicelli - super crunchy, fatty deliciousnessPork Curry Noodle: Coconut Milk, Fresh Herbs & Lettuces - delicious and decadently rich. One of the standouts of the night, everyone kept refilling their bowls. The soup looks angry, but I can assure you this one was not spicy.Sweet Chili Bell & Evans Chicken: Fried Garlic, Chillies & Jasmine Rice - Very generously portioned, sweet & spicy. For context, it's like the Laos version of General Tso's chicken Berkshire Spare Ribs: Smashed Long Bean & Papaya Salad with Cherry Tomatoes - nothing wrong with this dish at all, but pretty standard.Wok-Seared Gulf Prawns & Noodles: Yu Choy & Thai Basil - This was a great supplement dish, comparable to a fancy pad see ew.Charred Curried King Salmon: Coconut Green Curry & Jasmine Rice - cooked well and enjoyable, but overshadowed by other more flavorful counterparts. It was a nice mild dish if you're looking for something a little lighter to enjoy.Crispy Brussels Sprout Leaves: Caramel Fish Sauce & Pickled Peppers - we regret only ordering one (I'd want my own order next time)Sticky Rice & Sauces: Sticky Rice with Bang-Bang & Eggplant Sauces - The eggplant sauce on the sticky rice is phenomenal. The rest of the group felt that the Bang-Bang sauce was "Bangin'" for lack of a better term. Seems like something boring, but it's absolutely worth ordering.Would definitely return, and love that they can easily accommodate large groups. It's a little hard to gauge how much to order since they vary from a single sausage to a giant sharable bowl of curry, but it's worth over ordering to be able to sample all the great dishes. Bring more people so you can order more dishes to try! I'm rarely able to capture photos with this crowd since they tend to attack the food as soon as it arrives.
