Very cozy and buzzy vibes in an unbeatable neighborhood and atmosphere. Hand crafted menu with amazing meat and vegetarian offerings - everything comes out quickly and pairs well together. I have to get the pakoras and pistachio naan every time. The cocktails don't disappoint either. The staff are knowledgeable and helpful but might rush you out to accommodate the next table.

Amazing flavors! Awesome staff, very friendly and accommodating. The place is small but intimate. I felt like I was visiting the chef in a special place, not just ordering, eating and leaving. Definitely try this place if you like a modern twist.

I love Indian food and have tried a lot of London's options, and I really loved Kricket's concept. It's not a traditional sit down Indian spot, but more-like Indian spices and flavors meets a Spanish tapas bar vibe. Really cool spot, highly recommend if you're looking for an Indian experience that's a bit less traditional but very tasty and lively.

First time at Kricket and I can definitely see why it got a Michelin Bib Gourmet, this place is amazing! Made a reservation far in advance, but I don't think that's 100% necessary as there seemed to still be a ton of seats for walk ins. Was seated quickly in a communal table downstairs.- Brown Butter Lachha Paratha - This is essentially just naan with a tiny bit of brown sugar flavor. To be honest, there's really no need to order the fancy "bread" because the entrees are definitely the star, this is more of a side. I did appreciate the slight char on it though.- Malai Tandoori Paneer - From now on, I will exclusively only eat paneer with honey, what an unexpected but beautiful combination! I really appreciate the char of the paneer with the sweet and salty honey which flavored the entire block of cheese. Also the baby onions weren't overpowering and was actually quite tender. - Keralan Fried Chicken - This was my favorite dish of the night. The breading of the chicken was spectacular as it wasn't super heavy or dense with slight saltiness flavor. Also I thought it went extremely well with the pickled daikon. I loved the curry mayonnaise they made in house which was quite light and balanced out the crunchiness of the chicken. Definitely a must get dish at Kricket. - Pandhi Pork Neck Curry - This is more of your traditional curry. Honestly not anything mind-blowing but it was pretty good especially to counterbalance the other dryer dishes.Overall, very solid restaurant in London that I would most definitely visit again. I was a bit worried that we didn't order enough for 2 people, but this was most definitely enough and it left us stuffed.

.. from the drinks options to the food menu... as a party of four we sampled options from each section. Our server had great recommendations! The garlic naan, vegetarian options, fried chicken, beef and fish were all amazing! Loved the coriander side. Thought we were too full, but the pear abs chocolate was a perfect ending to a memorable meal! Will return when we're back in London!

This place is an explosion of flavors from the first drink to the last morsel of dessert. We had the pork neck curry, the Lamb chops, the Clams, and the fries chicken. All were very tasty. Highly recommended and worth the stop in London.

That evening after we left the restaurant we were violently sick and it lasted two days. Unfortunate for me since I was only there for five days. Seems like good food but the after effects and consequences can be a killer. It ruined my holiday

Just two American Texans who popped in for a drink and snack on the recommendation from a gentleman from a pub. Hands down some of the best food either of us has ever put into our mouths. We bought the cookbook and are tempted to visit again within our two day trip to try more picky bites! The butternut squash will not disappoint and neither will the beef kabob. Again, best food we have had in the time we can remember!

Just in London visiting. Was looking for Indian fare and found Kricket on Yelp. When we got here I was expecting traditional Indian food but Kricket is more of a fusion style Indian food. We let our waiter, Antonio, select the dishes for us and he did not disappoint. The five dishes he selected were an unbelievable mix of flavors that took my breath away. So so good. I've never been to a restaurant that left me speechless, but Kricket absolutely did. If you haven't tried it I highly recommend it and if I'm ever back in London this will be my first stop. Thanks to Antonio and the entire staff for not only wonderful food but an amazing experience.

My husband and I tried Kricket for lunch on a recent trip to London. We spit about 5 dishes between the two of us-- the mussels, the garlic and coriander bread, and pakoras were some of our favorite dishes. Excellent ambiance and great beer/wine pairings to go with the food.
Be the first to ReplyIndian food is to Londoners as Mexican food is to Americans.
Londoners know how to do Indian food right. I'm not even sure what it is but it was amazing. The service was speedy and our waiter was super helpful in telling us how to order and what is most popular.
Be the first to ReplyA really accessible dining experience.
Went with a group of 6 so we were able to sample most of the dishes on the menu. Surprisingly, the vegetarian dishes outshine the meat options (except the fried chicken). The bread didn't wow me -- not quite fluffy or hot enough.

We decided to stop in for lunch in the middle of our work week and we were thrilled with the experience. The ambiance is hip and trendy and the service was great. We ordered the black daal, garlic naan, lamb with pomegranate, curried swordfish, brussels sprouts and rice. All of the plates are intended to share so it's great spot to enjoy as a group. The flavors were excellent - we look forward to returning in the future!

This is an Indian fusion restaurant owned by a couple of brits. The chef is an Indian who used to work at a famous hotel in Bombay. It is certainly not your usual Indian fair so if you feel adventurous, this may be a place for you. The ambiance is quite hip and modern, an upbeat vibe if you will. The food contains items not usually part of Indian cuisine such as beef and pork, nonetheless they are cooked with clear Indian influences. Even though this is an Indian fusion restaurant, the food was not lacking In spice or quantity. The portions were decent. The dal was tasty, and the beef kebab was also quite delicious. I would have loved to see more sauce, however. The menu could also use some enhancements and additions. All in all, I enjoyed my dinner!

+ Ask the server which food is good.+ Order a Spiced Masala Chai with Rum (Y-U-M)Honestly every food item we got was superb. Not one plate was bad. The blast of flavor in each dish was so tasty. We ordered about 6 food items for 3 people, the dishes are not large they are small so you should order more than one plate per person. Yes it is pricy, but this trendy food is well worth the price. 5/5 No doubt.

Great for friends and a day out with girl or friends. Noisy and busy. Now the food. For Soho the price is reasonable.however I woould not come here for the food. I am only talking vege food as thats all we had.The Tadka Daal is sub par ( eating while.commemting). It needed what Indians call Tadka. It tasted like boil.daal with spices thrown in. I did not like it and wish chef had made better effort. I gave it 2/10. Edible but not something I'll recommend. The butternut Makhani squash was good. The butternut squash was I think grilled in the tandoor and then Makhani sauce was added. It was good however the Makhani sauce complemented it rather than be part of it. It was good and I old have it just because it is a healthier meal. Nothing to scream about. I gave it a 6/10The garlic coriander Naan is good.YOU must order a Naan or rice or you would get just the sauces for dinner. It is not part of meal. I know for sure that Indian meals have to be had with either Naan read or rice and it boggles my mind when it is not part of a meal. Wish they would just charge a bit more for it and include in meal. However it is what it is. I watched some Caucasians and Black's having the meals without Naan or rice eating them as if they were a dish to be eaten on their own. The wait staff do recommend that you order rice or Naan but!!!!Don't think it's a place I'll.come back to. Good luck

Delicious food of which the fried chicken was my favorite, followed by the lamb chops and the smoked sweet potato. Of the non alcoholic beverages my favorite was the Darjeeling iced tea, even though it was quite sweet it fit well to the food. The service was fantastic as they were really kind and drinks were served quite fast.
