We had a wonderful evening. Friendly service and excellent food. Nice atmosphere. Lovers of Indian food def have to go. My friend and I shared 2 tasting menus, fish/meat and vegetarian. Amazing
Be the first to ReplyFive star service and environment!
The service was wonderful. Our waiter was so attentive and accommodating. I had a great experience at this restaurant. Staff's positive attitude and willingness to go the extra mile for customers is appreciated. The atmosphere at here was absolutely inviting, and the dishes were a delightful fusion of flavors.
Be the first to ReplyGood Indian food.
Enjoyable lunch, small portions but tasty. Excellent music however table cloths would be nicer as more hygienic, very good service and decor.

Honestly, this is the best Indian restaurant I’ve ever experienced. This restaurant is tucked away in a small alley in Chelsea, the staffs are exceptionally friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend the prawn starter, You can’t go wrong with any choice for the main course; everything on the menu is a great option.
Be the first to ReplyGreat dining experience
Had lunch with my wife, daughter and niece a few weeks ago and must confess that experience was great. My daughter lives in the area, and when we were discussing about a place for lunch she suggested Kutir. Setting is very nice, on a traditional townhouse (doesn't look like a restaurant from the outside), well decorated, nice atmosphere. Service is excellent and staff really knows the menu and dishes, so able to explain and advice, what is great. We shared a few starters which were great and then mains very good too. I had the biryani which I loved. My daughter and nice went for the tikka masala and they were very satisfied with the quality. Restaurant was nearly empty so it was quiet and easy to have a nice conversation without raising our voices. Tables are quite close on to the other so not sure how is the noise level when restaurant is full. I asked about it to the manager because I thought that was a good place for a business lunch or dinner, but proximity of tables makes me hesitate a bit. He was very kind and showed me the 2 private dining rooms located upstairs, which are ideal for such an occasion. Restaurant also has outdoor seating and a terrace for the summer. Definitely great experience (not cheap, but you know it will be the case, so not a surprise) and place I will visit again.

A great find tucked away in an unusual spot off Kings Road. Good ambience with excellent service. Food was good too. We went for the set meal lunch, all very tasty but could have done with larger portions. Chicken Tikka curry as a main with just two small pieces of chicken didn’t do it for us. The shared accompaniments of rice, naan and daal also had to be topped up with extra orders to fill our still hungry tummies! May come back for to try the A la carte menu.

Dinner and service was superb as always. Thanks again! We will be back soon. Especially the vegetarian selection on offer is welcome.

We love Kutir so much! Our new favourite indian restaurant, honestly nothing could be faulted. Many thanks to Asif who always serves us with a warm smile :)

I have been to the restaurant twice now and it has got a special place in my heart. Absolutely delicious dishes. You can’t go wrong with your choices, every single dish has a character of its own. Very well presented and well served. I went there with a friend and business coach for a special dinner and they impressed us thoroughly. Rohit has delivered his passion in the menu and Prem wows you with the best hospitality in town. Thanks again!
Be the first to ReplyVery nice restaurant with some attention needed on food specifics
Very good but not as good as first time. We ordered many dishes and were the same group as during earlier visit. We sampled 8 starters and grilled items plus 6 mains along with desserts. The strong feedback as we are foodies and few who cook very well is that Food was overly spicy by all standards, delicious tasty food does not need super extra chillies added to it. This was universal feedback, The service was very good, ambience was great, the restaurant was packed and they wanted to even take a side table from our table. The chef needs to heed the comment as we have eaten at nearly all the Michelin * Indian restaurants in New York, London, Mumbai and Delhi. The fish dish was sub standard and being very aware of Bengali food we can directly compare.
Be the first to ReplyAn absolute “chef d’œuvre”
Every meals and starters we tried were absolutely perfect. Even if it’s slightly spiced, it’s not too much, and you can still appreciate all the flavours of the recipes ! Kutir is a great address to discover Indian meals at their best. I highly recommend this restaurant, absolutely worth it !
Be the first to ReplyNice, but there’s so much better out there for the money
It’s a lovely restaurant aesthetically, and a very comfortable visit, but there’s so many areas to improve, especially for the cost. As a table of four, we each went for the tasting menu. Every course was nice, but nothing notable. You’d get much better food at many of the vast array of Indian restaurants in London, for at least half the price. The portions of each course didn’t quite fit; some were a little dry and some distinctly unadventurous. The service was friendly, but needs work: plates were being cleared while others hadn’t finished their food, leaving you feeling rushed. The wine list is good, but overpriced. As someone who lives between London and Bordeaux, I know wines well, and they’re not priced correctly. The menu prices are akin to Gymkhana, but the food is miles apart. A nice place; glad I went to enjoy a meal with family, but wouldn’t go back when there’s so many other great Indian restaurants to choose from.

Wonderful meal in a unique setting. Located in a small, quiet neighborhood. Casual yet upscale environment. Delicious food. We visited as a family but saw many couples on dates enjoying a nice night out. Creative chef's menu, too.
Be the first to ReplyBrilliant service from Asif
Very welcoming staff, accomodated essential a walk in of two. The place is beautiful and all unfolds naturally around you as you walk in :) We got a lovely seat on the terrace which was very peaceful, private and also heated hehe. The menu has a great range and lots of choices for veggies like us. Service is warm, polite and rapid. Our waiter Asif was very professional and charming, getting us blankets when it got chillier and being patient with us struggling to pick cos all of the menu looked great. Food was very tasty, service was brilliant and beautiful setting! Perfect! Thank you!
Be the first to ReplyBest meal I had in London
We came for the three course lunch meal and came away stuffed and so pleased! We were there a little later than most patrons (3pm) so the restaurant was very quiet - but that didn't bother us. The atmosphere was swanky, and it smelled amazing upon our arrival. We each got a cocktail as we made our lunch selections. I had the chicken starter, eggplant main, and a pineapple dessert. My husband had the prawn starter, sea bass main, and sorbet based dessert. It was PHENOMENAL. The sea bass was definitely the star of the show - I could have eaten five of them. This was without a doubt the best meal we had in London - and if you factored in the $30/person price (which included a drink!) you'd just be dumb to be sleeping on this.

This place was great. A little pricey but worth it. An excellent atmosphere, and most importantly excellent food. We opted for traditional Indian restaurant fare. Tikka Masala, dal, saag and papadam w some Naan thrown in. But they have some more fusion food and beer, cocktails. Will go again.
Be the first to ReplyExcellent Indian restaurant in Sloane Square area
A first visit in a family birthday. We were pleasantly surprised by the good quality and very nice service, The desserts were outstanding, the main courses were delicious and we benwfitted from the experience of a waiter who had served at Jamavar and Tamarind. We enjoyed the biryani, chicken and the prawn dishes. The daal was very nicely flavoured too. The bread basket was a good idea rather than individual breads.
Be the first to ReplyAnniversary dinner made special
Kutir was highly recommended by our friend and we opted to celebrate our anniversary here. We were warmly welcomed by a gentleman and were seated promptly. The cocktails were unique and delicious especially Bagh and Neelamber highly recommend by our charming server. We chose all three tasting menus with wine flight and every dish was given a creative thought with an impeccable balance of spices and flavour. Just astonished!!! Wine pairings worked well with food. I would say service and food were 10/10 and we wound be back very soon to try a la carte menu soon.
Be the first to ReplyExcellent Experience
I believe this is one of the best Indian meals that I have ever had. It was truly fantastic. The Aloo tikki and cauliflower was delicious. We also had the Salmon Mooli as a starter which was equally delicious. For mains we enjoyed the Aubergine, chicken tikka and venison with green peppercorn. The food is innovative, fresh, fragrant and you can really taste all the spices - not too hot, just right. The Chocolate Orange dessert was incredible. This is no average curry house, yes it is a little pricey but well worth it. The wine list is extensive. An excellent experience and I would definitely return. Thanks
Be the first to ReplyWonderful Indian restaurant
Kutir is perfect for passionate lovers of spicy Indian food as well as for those with milder tastebuds. We had a business dinner and one colleague was vegetarian, the other two had sensitive stomachs and someone else was ready to devour all dishes on the menue. In the end, everyone was so pleased with the experience and enjoyed the food and service to the fullest extent. Thank you Team Kutir for an unforgettable evening! As a bonus, there is a gorgeous terrace which feels like little quiet heaven amidst the hustle of Sloane Square.

Food is simply delicious! Kutir offers the best of Indian cousine. Staff are so well trained and very kind and respectful. Will definitely be back many times more!!!
Be the first to ReplyPerfect Indian in Chelsea.
We had the regular and vegetarian tasting menus. We switched courses because of a seafood allergy and it worked out well for us. The setting was homely, like dining at home. Their wines were reasonably priced and service exceptional. The pace of the meal was just right. Prices very reasonable. We will return next time in London. Reservations were easy even with the Platinum Jubilee.
Be the first to ReplyGreat Indian restaurant in Chelsea
Kutir is a great warm and cosy restaurant off a main street in Chelsea. The decor is modern and welcoming. We went for the Signature Expedition set course (at £70 per head). The food was very high quality and the various courses were brought out in a timely manner. The palette cleanser was a rather spicy affair (for my taste buds) but certainly gave an explosion of flavours. The other course were very flavoursome and the odd one one was a bit spicy (which is expected as this is an Indian restaurant!). The service was exceptional with the staff promptly topping up drinks as needed. We were made very welcome and I highly recommend this delightful restaurant. It’s not a cheap restaurant but it is in Chelsea and you get what you pay for! 😀
