Knockout Experience
I took my partner here for her birthday on a Saturday evening, and I couldn't have picked a better place. The food, as you would expect, is out of this world. My partner and I are indulgent and greedy people - we went for the longer tasting menu and every course was pitch perfect. My personal highlight was Seabass with Caviar and Champagne foam - this is of course 'a classic', but when you're serving classic food, you're not allowed to get it wrong, and they delivered. Besides the food, Élise, the Head Somm, looked after us beautifully. Clearly a dining room veteran - she was really a marvel. This was such an unforgettable experience, and one we'll try again.
Be the first to Replythe worlds highest female michelin star chef, up the dress code please ......
la dame pic in the four seasons hotel is good, the hotel is impressive, tom cruise there while we ate, the decor of the restaurant is ok, not mind blowing, the staff were ok, the food was what you would expect from a 2 michelin star restaurant, ayala champagne is good, smoked wild pollock to start, cornwall lamb shoulder for main and white millefeulle for dessert and annas signature berlingots, as a interim dish was good, my gripe is that the dress code is bad for such a high class restaurant, guys with shorts/t-shirts etc which really isnt the done thing in a high class restaurant, but a good experience, BUT DOSENT DELIVER THE POMP AND CLASS as other michelin star restaurants we have dined at, AND to be honest helene darroze blows this place out the water BUT darroze is 3 michelin star only 1 of 7 in uk but ticked off the list
Be the first to ReplyVery good but lacks the customer focus
I took my Mum here for her 70th birthday, she can't have alcohol, I made this clear. Unfortunately they didn't have the range of non alcoholic wines, but I was offered a corkage. We opted for the 6 course option (you could also have 4 and 8 courses). The food was lovely, unfortunately (and I know how this will sound) as they removed the menus away us at the start, their accents were so strong, we both struggled to understand what we were eating. I am a veggie and my mum not, but found that I was received what felt like my mums food, just without the meat. When I questioned this, the matre de explained this was intentional so we could share the experience as much as possible. I was a little disappointed with that. They also gave my mum food with signfiicant amounts of alcholol in (such as liquer bombs) which I did complain about (its a health issues for her). They did give us a complimentary glass. when we asked they to take. pic for us, they were so focused on getting the marvelous chandelier in, the picture wasn't great. The restaurant was beautiful, the staff were attentive, I think the biggest differennce between this and other michel restaurants I've eaten at, is that I just didn't think the customer was the priority here, I felt it was the food. And that I found like disappointing. I agree with another poster, there was a consistent flavour through our meal, but to be honest I had no idea what it was. I'll say again, the food was incredible, my mum had a fantastic time, but I wouldn't go again.

My mom and I spent a wonderful evening in this high end restaurant. We both odered a 6 courses menu accompanied with the wine pairing, which fitted marvellously well with the dishes. Not only were we amazed by the food quality and presentation but also by the amazing service. Leon took extra good care of us, he and Alice brought the service to another level by speaking to us in french the entire evening. They also were extremely detailed focused and were always there when needed. Alessio presented us the wines with a high level of expertise and was great to converse with. Anne Marie was very kind and attentionate even if descrete. Finally the kitchen team brought our culinary experience to a new level with their wonderful dishes and this experience will be in our memories for a long time. Thank you team!
Be the first to ReplyNot quite meeting expectation
We were very much looking forward to trying La Dame de Pic and as such decided to go for the full 8 course menu to get the most out of the experience. As many have noted this is an expensive restaurant that holds 2 Michelin Stars and as such expectation are set along those lines. Overall while the experience was good, it did fall a little short of expectations for a variety of reasons. The menu when you are first presented is an interesting layout, with all the courses listed and then the 3 options have the marks in columns to say if its included in the 4/6/8 options. The issue with this is while it is interesting, unless you do the full 8 it actually makes it more work to see what you will be eating. Only a little thing, but as you attempt to relax upon arrival, it doesn't help. The overall setting is very well done, but this is one of the more formal restaurants, which especially for lunch makes it that bit less easy to relax. I am sure for some it will be exactly what they are looking for, but for us it took away from the experience. Having opted for the 8 course option, we also did the beverage pairings to go with this. All the pairings did go beautifully with the food, although I am unsure that the green tea served in a wine glass would be for everyone. I would say the beef was stunning, the whisky coffee sauce which didn't sound like it would go worked amazingly well. It was a time when trusting the chef is certainly the thing to do. The option to have one of three desserts is also excellent as especially with desserts personal preference plays such a huge part. Overall the food was very good and there was nothing wrong with the entire experience, but it didn't quite match the expectations when compared to other restaurants of its calibre or the price of the menu.
Be the first to ReplyA wonderful experience
Amazing from start to finish, from the greeting when we arrived to the goodbyes when we left. Not pretentious at all, just extremely great service without being intrusive. We chose the ‘Journey’ menu which was fabulous. Great wine list to suit all pockets. Thanks to everyone, particularly Leon, who added to the whole experience. Can’t wait to come back.
Be the first to ReplyA strange experience
We visited recently and were actually quite shocked by the food. The atmosphere was great, the staff welcoming, knowledgeable about everything from the dishes to the non alcoholic drinks that were paired with our dishes and very friendly. On the other hand the food was unbelievably overpowering with nearly every single dish tasting in some way of tonka bean (even the butter). The signature berlingots were thick and chewy and by the end we felt we needed a break from the powerful taste of tonka bean on nearly every dish. I’m sorry to say I won’t be going back. I don’t know if we just happened to be unlucky on the night, or with the current menu but it was not great.
Be the first to ReplySadly, it is a "No" from us!
Oh dear, I have been looking forward to trying 2 Michelin-Starred Anne-Sophie Pic's food for a long time, but the Covid-19 pandemic got in the way. Finally this week we made it and oh, I was so, so disappointed! (Spoiler alert: I have not had Covid, so my sense of smell and taste are normal)
The staff are excellent and attentive, especially the Maitre'D and Sommelier, but I am afraid everything went slightly downhill from there. The ambiance isn't great for a high-end restaurant. I think some thought needs to go into the surroundings. I was sat slightly in the corridor and was repeatedly brushed into by waiting staff and the high ceilings makes for a less than intimate experience, like eating in a bank!
The menu is elegant and you have a choice of 4/6/8 courses with or without wine pairing. We went for the 6 course Journey menu at £130 each without the wine pairing.
As is usual in these high end restaurants we were treated to a few amuse bouches prior to the main performance. One involves a hard shelled but brittle ball which contains a gin/blackcurrant interior that hits you like a "tequilla shot". Indeed my poor non-drinking wife choked on the massive hit of gin, as she wasn't expecting the rather unpleasant experience.
The Green "Jerome Galis" Asparagus consisted of one stem of marinated asparagus with a basil and coffee ice cream that seemed to create an almost "caustic" sensation on the palate, that was, simply, not nice.
The Berlingots are Ms Pic's signature dish, light pasta parcels with a St. Jude cheese filling. Unfortunately, the cooking of mine was variable. Some of the parcels were melt in the mouth (as I suspect they should be), but sadly, some under-cooked and a little "chewy" in texture.
Dover Sole followed which in my opinion seemed to be a little over-whelmed by a smoked beetroot and barberry accompanying sauce.
Cornwall lamb was beautifully cooked (pink) and nicely accompanied by a seaweed and broccoli tartlette.
Saint Marcellin palate cleanser was so-so, but not something I would usually order on a menu. St Marcellin/St.Jude you can see where the inspiration comes from?
Certainly the highlight was the desert - White Millefeuille, that is once again one of Ms Pic's signature dishes and certainly lived up to top billing. Layers of Tahitian vanilla and jasmine jelly with pepper cloud accompaniment.
We chose not to go for the wine pairing as my wife hardly drinks, but took advice from the very knowledgeable and friendly sommelier and chose a moderately priced (£89) but interesting bottle of wine, which along with our bottle of Evian water and a 15% service charge, took our the bill to around £350 for 2 people.
I am glad I eventually have been to La Dame De Pic, but sadly I cannot recommend it to you.
Truly Sensational!
For once I’m struggling for words as to how to describe this truly magnificent gastronomic experience. Perfect. Contemporary. Imaginary. Classy. Sophisticated. Tantalising. I could go on…
I must first start by saying that the service was impeccable. From the moment booking this, I have been made to feel superhuman. There is nothing the staff could do more to make sure we enjoyed our experience. Also very fortunate that I was able to meet the head chef, and have a glass of champagne with him in the kitchen whilst eating our entrée.
However what followed French cuisine cooked to perfection. Whilst it felt regal, the combination of flavours when read should not go together, it in deed they do. Taking fanciful ingredients along our journey, we were able to dine on snails, oysters, Cornish crab, artichoke, scallops, John Dory, venison, and lashings of truffle. The millefeuille was the best desert I’ve ever eaten. We were lucky to experience Sophie’s signature dishes, which can only be described as heaven, and every course brought pungent flavours that shouldn’t work together, but they just did. And with magnitude. I mean who thinks that oysters should be wrapped in a tarragon jelly, inside matcha tea ice cream and served on spiced beetroot pure as a starter?!?!? Sounds like an overzealous date trying to make an unnecessary impression, however it was absolutely outstanding, including textures that work in harmony.
I can only summarise by saying that this is a perfect experience of classic and contemporary cooking, served with elegance, style and modern innovation. Not suitable for those with simple tastebuds or palates, which is why this complicated dining experience will always stick fondly as one of my best ever culinary experiences, regardless of the expense.
One word - Stunning.
A wonderful dining experience. French classical cooking with a very modern twist !
Located at the Four Seasons Hotel in The City, this restaurant is also open to non residents. The food and wine pairing is a great culinary experience. Three options available- 4,6 or 8 courses. It is very top end pricing but it is also very transparent and you know the cost before you go. You are not ambushed ! The dishes are innovative and prepared from the very best of ingredients, all extremely well presented on plate. There is an excellent wine list should you decide to go ' off piste' ! The chef and her team are extremely talented and very well supported by the front of house team. A wonderful dining experience.

Set in the beautiful four seasons hotel Le Dame de Pic gives you a real idea of Anne-Sophie’s style of cooking and French flavours. The plating is exceptional and the crab starter was one of the best I’ve eaten. Pigeon cooked absolutely perfectly paired with amazing wines. Service a little too noticeable and sommelier did not readily assist would be my only critique but doesn’t impact the rating

This restaurant is inside the four seasons hotel near the Tower of London.
I had dinner there last evening and I would say this is one of the best restaurants in London without doubt.
The menu is well designed and several dishes surprised me with the rich flavors and luscious looking.
Very good but not amazing. It is eye wateringly expensive
We knew the prices before we arrived so cannot complain about that. We had the 8 course menu, there was not one dish one could fault but there was not one dish that was outstanding in our opinion. We thought it needed to be outstanding to justify those prices.

I dont throw that out haphazardly. This is the best restaurant I have been to in London. It is so amazing that when I return in a few months - I am bypassing a lot of other options to go back here. Let me explain.
Recently I needed to take a last minute trip to London to entertain important clients. My wife went with me. The restaurant needed to be amazing. We were able to get a reservation at Le Dame de Pic.
I worked with the staff on setting up everything for the dinner. We picked the menu. I reserved a private room. We worked on the drink service. Everything was excellent before we walked in the door working with them.
Walking in the door we "made the jump to hyperspace." The staff was ultra attentive, friendly and warm. I had guests that were late - not an issue. The room is too warm - we are on it. Please turn down the ambient music - done right away. This is before the food...
The food is divine. I would put it up there with The French Laundry (the best restaurant my wife and I have been to in North America) and Guy Savoy (the best restaurant we have been to in Europe). Everything was not only expertly prepared, gorgeous to view but was divine. We had Cornish Crab, Berlingots, Monkfish, Brittany Pigeon, Saint-Marcellin and the White Millefeuille. All of it was great. However, the standouts to us were the Monkfish (my wife rarely eats fish - she loved this dish), the Saint-Marcellin (this was amazing) and the White Millefeuille which is the best dessert I have ever tasted (and that is saying something - I love dessert). The perfection in the meal is a hallmark of our favorite set course meals - at the end we are perfectly full. It is rare but when it happens you realize you have had an incredible meal.
The drinks were amazing. Everything was paired very well. It was not just wine. We had a rhubarb cocktail and sake as part of the pairing. Beyond the pairing the bartenders did an amazing job.
Service was as good as anywhere I have been. We are fortunate. We have been to a collective (without counting repeats) 33 michelin stars. This ranks (as mentioned) right at the top of the list for service.
Décor is top notch. It is located in a the beautiful Four Seasons at Ten Trinity Square. It is steps away from the Underground.
Overall - this is amazing - food, drink, service and attention to detail. Will definitely be back.
Close to perfection
I can safely say that this was one of the best, if not the best, meal I have ever had. The range of different tastes and ingredients is mouth watering and although it might seem on paper the ingredients don't go together the reality is very, very different.
We had the Voyager menu which is 10 courses so be prepared to be there for a while, although the time between each course is generally quite short.
The sommelier was very knowledgeable and gave us some lovely advice as we thought the pairing would be too much to drink for us. The glasses were topped up regularly without being intrusive, which is where many places fall short.
The service was fantastic, incredibly friendly, which is rare, and makes you feel that they actually care. The three of the them even came to the exit to see us on our way!
The decor is a bit plain but at the end of the day the food and service are far more important.
It's a 2 Michelin star restaurant so expect prices to reflect this but believe me, if you love fine dining you will not be disappointed.
Sublime
I had a wonderful meal, La Dame de Pic is up there amongst the best. Every exquisite course was packed with flavour, stunningly presented & highly accomplished. The tasting menu is either 4, 6 or 8 courses, starting at £105 per head, with amuse bouches & incredible bread thrown in. Service was absolutely spot on, polished but very friendly & welcoming. The high ceilinged, contemporary room is glossy & upscale but comfortable.
Perfection.
