I've been to a number of the locations.
Generally, the food is fantastic. I've visited the Bryant Park location a few times now and I can safely say the staff there may be some of the most unpleasant staff I've ever come across. It's rare that restaurant staff will treat you like your business is a complete inconvenience, but in the few times I've visited that location I can safely say that they've never displayed any form of a pleasant attitude towards their customers. I'd suggest going to the Meatpacking or Soho location for better service.

Food, Service and Ambiance amazing! Nice centrally located area as well. The host was so kind he offered to charge my phone while I was eating..:)
Be the first to ReplyHad a really wonderful time here.
We were early for our res and we're seated right away - on a very busy Saturday night. We were in a rush and our waitress took such great care of us and made sure our food was out in time - without feeling at all like we were rushing! Spicy limoncello margarita was perfection. So was the crispy calamari. The cacio e pepe was so delicious. The downstairs library area was so cool and nice, too. It really was a great night all around!

I'm not even gonna hold you, that rigatoni was GOOD when I got it. My partner got that branzino and it was cooked beautifully but lacked seasoning, or at least a sauce of some sort.
Be the first to ReplyThe decor was lovely.
The Hostess was...not nice. Like surprisingly so. This is not a "destination" who can afford for the welcome to be so smarmy. It's the theatre district, so you are going for a quantity over quality situation. That being said, our waiter was ok, as was the food. The calamari was good, but the aioli cup was empty (see photo) and it took forever to get it filled. The pastas were fine with the addition of burrata. We were not hovered upon, nor rushed which is a plus for us. I can't see us returning, as there are so, so many other options in the city.

Very beautiful ambiance in this location - white walls and accessories- cool light fixtures. Service was on point and food was amazing. We had the meatball appetizer and they were delicious- they just melted in your mouth! Pasta was delicious also! We will be back!

My friends and I LOVE going to the bar and having Frankie as our bartender to have drinks and food. He is welcoming, attentive and always has a smile on his face! Now, let's get to a few favorite things on the menu. The Burrata is delicious and served with so many great things. And, the Garganelli pasta is out of this world! It is a truly a unique bowl of pasta that makes me so happy. So, if you love mushrooms, pesto, garlic and pecorino, you're going to LOVE having this to eat. Stop by one day soon and see Frankie!

First time visiting this location and La Pecora Bianca continues to impress with their awesome food and service! Everybody in the restaurant was extremely friendly, helpful and attentive. The pasta dishes were expensive but truly worth it! I love ordering from their Union Square location but this place is exceptional too. 5/5 recommend!

I went here with some friends pretty last minute on a Friday. Didn't think we'd be able to get in, but we were so lucky to be accommodated!. Great service and excellent New York food for Italian.
Be the first to ReplyPretty disappointed by the food and service here.
We each ordered a dish of pasta that took nearly 40 mins to come out, and we did not receive any complimentary bread which seems odd for an Italian restaurant. As for the food, I got the gramigna which was not great, it had an odd flavor to it. My friends who ordered other dishes were also not huge fans. Some of the pastas are extremely simple and could be made at home by anyone. Being as there are many other Italian restaurants in the city, I would not return but the interior was nice.
Be the first to ReplyWent for gluten free pasta.
Nice to have options. But it was just O.K. Nothing to write home about. But I appreciate the fresh options. Really good gf is just hard to come by

This place is really chic inside and has great options for food. This is the second location that I have been to and both were really good. Staff was friendly and volume Wasn't too loud. Personally, I felt like this location was much cuter than the midtown east one but that may be due to pure size. We had the ricotta to start, the brussels sprouts side, and I had the cacio e Pepe with added burrata. To drink, we each had different types of Negroni's, both were great! My partner had the chicken Milanese, and I will admit that the other location had been much crispier, well, this one could've been fried a little bit longer
Be the first to ReplyThe food was non-negotiable.
The vodka pasta with burrata? Slay! The salads? Slay! The Brussel sprouts?! WERK! The food came out fast and speedy. Fierce! Low lighting, fancy ambiance. This location is full of a lot of rich people. Slay?? Not really. I love diverse restaurants to give me stories. Our waitress was fine. Sla- just kidding haha. The bathrooms were not fancy. Didn't fit the theme hunnyyy I like a PORCELAIN throne to piss on. What took the last star from this, though, was really, honestly, quite literally...the hostess at the front. Rude! Like girl...how hard is it to add one more to a three person rez? 4 person tables are mathematic. Thanks a lot lady

Loved their zuchini fries and Toscano salad! Their pastas were really good too! We had Bucatini, Rigatoni and Garganelli. And my fav was Garganelli, but everything was really good. Will def go back again.
Be the first to ReplyAll I can say is that the food was mediocre at best.
We were a table of 8, for a birthday dinner on a sunday night. We had a reservation so we were seated immediately but they stopped us on the way in because we had cake. I asked them if they could hold onto it for us while we were eating dinner and asked if we could celebrate with the cake after dinner. They said there was a cake cutting fee of $5 per person..... and even if "cut" it ourselves, there's a fee for even if we want to eat it in the restaurant. We ended up not having cake together because we had already ordered an overpriced meal per person and a bottle of wine. The food was okay but it definitely was NOT good enough to be priced that high. I got a brussel salad and their most popular rigatoni which there are plenty of pictures on here. The rigatoni was just normal and there wasn't anything special that made it stand out. The brussel salad was fine too, the sauce and taste overall was a bit strong and I didn't like that the raisins were pickled but that's just me. We had a pizza to share in the middle and it was not hot at all, it was a cooled down temperature with a super thin middle and thick crust. Not my preference but maybe others like their pizzas like that .... To each their own I guess. Overall, the servers weren't too attentive even though we had clearly been one of the larger tables and one of the only tables celebrating a birthday. In the past, I have been to so many more restaurants have made efforts to make a birthday dinner that much more special because we chose to have it at their restaurant. I just remember leaving the restaurant feeling unsatisfied and disappointed by everything-- especially the fact that they don't have bread as an appetizer!!! One of the best parts of an Italian restaurant is the yummy bread with olive oil and balsamic and LPB did not have it at all. Not even available to order as a side. So disappointing and mediocre.

What a great dining experience! My daughter and I shared a bottle of their own label dry rose; it was a perfect accompaniment to our very different shared entrees. The branzino with Swiss chard was a winner - lemony and salty/savory with the addition of capers. Our other choice was the tagliatelle - also delicious. The only complaint is that the serving dishes should have been hot. The food cooled down too quickly. We also ordered a side of the roasted Brussel sprouts. These were amazing! For dessert we shared the tiramisu for two - delicious but really can feed four or five people! (Not complaining - lol - enjoyed the leftovers the next day) Finally ended with an espresso martini - best one ever! This is a very convenient location close to GCT. We will definitely be back!

Great ambiance and lovely menu, nice hostess but angry server but maybe it's a bad day for fee but still I don't know why she's angry at us.The most delicious meatball I ever had. Went during brunch and would love to visit again.

Make a reservation in advance as this place was packed on a weekday evening. We got a bottle of Fontodi along with a pepperoni pizza & cauliflower to share and I got the pappardelle with burrata (extra $6).The waiter was extremely knowledgeable about wine and gave us glasses of two that we were torn between to try. Such amazing service throughout!Pepperoni Pizza (5/5): So good! Also came with onions on top and had a nice crisp thin crust. So fresh and absolutely delicious - did not skimp out on toppings at all!Cauliflower (5/5): Best dish we got. Came with a wonderful creamy purée along with some sweet raisins and other tidbits. I could have eaten an entire cauliflower app alone with how amazing this was!Pappardelle (4/5): Pasta was good but lamb was a bit dry. Sauce was nice and the pasta texture was quite fresh and stretchy while still having a good bite. Additional burrata was nice and cold - the juxtaposition against the hot pasta was great and really elevated the dish. Burrata was so soft and opened up easily.
Be the first to ReplyThought dinner was a 5.
Pasta was out of this world. We got two of the rigatoni with vodka and also got a branzino that was one of the best I've been had. Crispy. Not oily. Flavorful. Ambiance is really nice. Not casual at all but wouldn't say fancy. The zucchini chip appetizers were crispy and delicious and the whipped ricotta app was delectable. Sweet with warm toast. Perfect. This was a last minute spot and they crushed it. Would come back in a heartbeat.

My apartment favorite for a special occasion or a pick me up! Burgers, calamari, meatballs, branzini, basil spaghetti, and all options will give you a little touch of Italia in Bryant Park Midtown Manhattan. If you get a Negroni or Old Fashioned it makes for a special time!

Be the first to ReplySpectacular Italian restaurant that happens to have several
Spectacular Italian restaurant that happens to have several NYC locations. The interior is warm yet modern and sophisticated, reminding me of L'Avenue at Saks and other very high-end restaurants.I'm surprised this restaurant doesn't have the same "hype" that other Italian eateries like Carbone, Via Carota, and I Sodi have, because it's just as good, if not better. The rigatoni is tied for me with Carbone for the best in all of NYC. My sister disagrees and says it's the best in all of NYC period- and yes, she's been to Carbone. The ricotta adds a nice complement to the already thickened vodka sauce. We love it so much that everyone at the table ordered the same dish! My boyfriend asked for chili pepper flakes on the side, and they happily obliged. When he added those, then it really was just as comparable to the infamous Carbone spicy rig.For starters, we had the cauliflower and burrata. The cauliflower was delicious, and the marscapone cheese beneath it added a nice flavor and texture to the overall dish. The burrata was great but was just your classic burrata- nothing too memorable.I started with the Brussels salad, and that was excellent. In previous visits, I've had their famous "Gramigna" and it is not good. It's entirely oil-based, so if you don't like any sort of sauce, then maybe you'll like it. It just feels like you're eating pure oil to me.But the rig, you cannot go wrong in the slightest! I will say that I've had it with burrata on top (an extra $6), and it does absolutely nothing for the dish. Don't waste your money. Next time I'm there, I want to split the rigatoni and the chicken Milanese, which the table next to us got, and it looked delicious. Highly recommend this place!
Be the first to ReplyWouldn't let me get chicken on my salad for dinner.
Apparently that's only a "brunch option". Ridiculous. How hard is it to put chicken on a salad? Stupid at irs

The service at La Pecora was spot on and friendly without being overwhelming. My pasta with a meat sauce was seasoned well. The lemon ricotta cheese was richly flavored and worth every bite. You can also grab a drink and they serve the usuals and a few with a fun Italian twist. Overall, it is a pleasant dining experience.
