Lareira - Baixa Porto Reviews from The Last Year
This place is a perfect hole in the wall sandwich shop.
I stopped here after a long walk (uphill of course) around Porto. I ordered the Pernil com queijo da Serra and it was amazing. Perfectly roasted pulled pork with a bit of saltiness with the cheese. I finished the entire sandwich but definitely shareable. A must try if you're near the Lello Library!
This was a favorite casual restaurant while in Porto
This was a favorite casual restaurant while in Porto serving wonderful sandwiches with homemade chips and fantastic sangria. I really enjoyed their Alheira and fried egg on a crusty roll. We were also very pleased to discover that they have an outdoor dining area across the street from the restaurant.

Great little cafe in a nice area! It's cozy inside with only a handful of tables. You can dine in or take out. We started with the cheese plate, bread, and sangria. The bread was heavenly and came out warm! We had the steak sandwich with egg and the chicken sandwich with vinaigrette! Very reasonably priced. We only spent $31 total for everything. Highly recommend. Would go back!

When you sell a reservation that has a prepaid fee AT takes a commission on that fee. This doesn’t really make sense because it’s an expense the seller incurs not part of the profit that is shared.
For example:
Carbone NYC fee to book table for 2 is $108.88
If you sell it for $200 on AT you get $140 from them.
Your net profit is $31 and AT collects $60 in fees.
It would make more sense not to charge commission on the upfront fee as this creates a disincentive and results in higher costs for buyers.

Agreed. Ultimately not addressing this month after month is clearly resulting in a drop in certain venue’s rankings & sales.
