Hot summer vacation in CABO because of the choice of all-inclusive hotel so you can eat all kinds of free restaurant in the hotel, although not directly by the sea, but it is worth eating It's a really good and healthy whole wheat toast with a lot of cheese and a little sweet sauce. It's just made and it's amazing. Banana crepe: this word has been difficult to pronounce sweet mouth breakfast is too good very thin butter very fragrant fruit is also very good for travel defecation hahahaha Acai bowl: Wherever I go, I want to have this bowl to eat because it's super healthy and comprehensive.
Be the first to ReplyExcellent food, service, atmosphere.
Best dinner we've had so far. Don't pass up the opportunity
Be the first to ReplyWe ordered the molcajete and the yellowtail.
Both of were very disappointing and so bland. They didn't even have hot sauce to give more flavor. The rice pudding was hard and very undercooked. The churro was lacking flavor and was hard. The chocolate milk that came with the churro was mostly milk. Service was good and ambiance was nice since it's near the beach. It was worth the try since it was included in my resort package but I wouldn't go back. I suspect I got sick for the next 3-4 days from this place but can't confirm.

Ummm....Noo! Just NO!! I'm at a firm disagreement with all these high ratings. Maybe it was just our experience? Or the chef had a VERY off night? No clue... This was the worst meal of my trip!! The ambiance was lovely... We came for dinner on a Saturday evening. It wasn't crowded, there were tables available and we were seated right away. The service was very good, our waiter was on top of everything. We were even greeted with a welcome drink! After that, it was all downhill... Welcome drink: ~ Tequila sunrise - 4/5 Food: ~ SURF AND TURF TACO - 3/5 This sounded good on paper. The taco was okay. Nothing special; bland, but edible. ~ BEEF BONE MARROWS - 2.5/5 The presentation was brilliant... This dish looked better than it tasted. The Octopus wrapped around the bone was undercooked; rubbery, tough to chew and swallow. The bone marrow was OK. ~ FLANK STEAK MOCVAJETE - 2/5 Ummm... Absolutely no flavor, bland, no spices. The cheese didn't even melt. The skimped on the flank steak;, thin pieces which were bland, tough overcooked and rubbery. The meat itself felt like a lower quality grade. Pass... I had far better Molcajetes in Cali & Vegas. ~ PESCADO EMPAPALADO - 2/5 Once again...no! No flavor. The fish was overcooked as well. It's hard to ruin Yellowtail, yet somehow the kitchen managed to mess it up. ~ GRANDMA'S CHURROS - 2/5 The Churros tasted stale, like they were made a while ago and were just sitting around. The chocolate milk was OK, nothing special about the dipping sauces ~ COCONUT FLAN - 1/5 This is NOT flan...!! Some kind of dense coconut paste is the best description I can provide...covered with stale dried old shredded coconut. ~ ROMPOPE RICE PUDDING - 0/5 THIS MIGHT JUST BE THE FIRST 0 RATING...!!! This is one of the worst things I ate on the entire trip... They actually put grains undercooked rice in here. I'm talking hard, chewy grains of rice and then sprinkled some cinnamon over at...I couldn't taste the Rompope. Just to cap off the evening... our stomachs were off after eating dinner. We took turns as King & Queen of the porcelain throne, if you know what I mean...SMH Terrible...

We LOVED our time at Las Palamas with Adan!! We came for a girls' trip and Adan was exceptionally accommodating, engaging, and kind! He laughed and joked with us, which made our meal not just a time to eat dinner, but an experience that contributed to our dinner being a memorable, lifelong experience. We love you, Adan!

We ate at Paloma's several times for breakfast and once for dinner. The breakfast menu was quite extensive and had traditional Mexican breakfast items as well as everything you would expect on an American breakfast menu. There were a variety of fresh juices including a really awesome green juice. Everything that we ordered, with the exception of the banana crepes, was delicious. (The crepes were overwhelmed with the amount of Nutella in the middle). The fruit plate and French toast were particularly good. Ask for the breakfast bread basket - you'll find a wide assortment of breakfast pastries. Dinner At Paloma's wasn't as much of a hit as was breakfast. The menu was less extensive. My husband had the fish wrapped in banana leaves and he really enjoyed it. I had the pork carnitas. Several large chunks of dried out pork came with a small cup of beans, guacamole and warm corn tortillas. I've definitely had better and wouldn't order it again. The highlight was dessert. It was worth suffering through the carnitas just for the flaming bananas. And it's just what it sounds like - it was quite the tableside show. The coconut flan was also good but just take my word for it - order the bananas. As for service, both meals had very personable and attentive wait staff. Breakfast was pretty quick but it took quite awhile to get our food at dinner. Soup, an entree and dessert took nearly two hours. There is plenty of patio seating though we had a couple of mid 50 degree mornings that were a little chilly. There are some tables indoors but the room is somewhat cavernous and it is very, very loud. Palmero's is definitely the place for breakfast. I'd also go back for dessert and coffee. You have better choices for dinner.

Las Paloma's is a backup choice for when Cilantros is booked up. I wouldn't choose to go here for itself, as it is really just a hotel restaurant by the pool, and the prices are above what the quality of the food is. But, when Cilantros is full, it lives up to the expectations of a backup restaurant. The waitstaff is fun and knowledgeable about Cabo and the menu, and they have exciting tortilla flavors. Additionally, if you are not wanting to splurge on bottled water, this place has purified water that they will fill your cups up for free with. We actually thought that the water tasted fresher than some of the bottles, but it's up to you. They have inside and outside tables, and all are about 6+ feet apart and can fit a variety of groups. I would say that if you have more than 4 people you should have a reservation ahead of time. The other Yelpers have reviewed and taken pictures of the breakfast, but we tried dinner. The tortilla soup was delicious and they pour the broth into the bowl in front of you, which is exciting. I'm sticking with the original opinion I had, it's a great backup place for Cilantros, at least for dinner.

Las Palomas was part of our all-inclusive stay at the Pueblo Bonito Blanco so my friends and I felt obligated to get breakfast here a couple times... and it was super convenient so there's that! Both times we were seated in the covered section, although do try to sit outside if you can! If it's not too hot, that is. The first time around I wanted a healthy, plant-based meal so I ordered a variety of menu items and kind of hodge-podged them together. I went with the Seasonal Fruit Platter which is served with yogurt and granola, or cottage cheese. I asked for soy milk instead of yogurt for the granola but I think this confused them so they brought out a glass of soy milk in addition to the yogurt. The granola was a surprisingly small serving, 3 tablespoons at most, and the yogurt was about the same. The fruit plate included cantaloupe, honeydew, pineapple, papaya and strawberries, I believe. The fruit wasn't as good as I was hoping. The pineapple and cantaloupe were probably the best and the papaya tasted a bit off. I do appreciate that they offer soy, almond and rice milk though! I also ordered a plain toasted bagel with avocado slices on the side to attempt to make my own avocado toast. The bagel wasn't the best quality, but toasted with avocado it was fine. They also brought out a jam of sorts which was delicious! I didn't use the butter. My friend ordered hash browns and bacon... avoid the hash browns because they didn't look crisp at all, but the bacon looked decent if you're an omnivore. Service the first time around was good, our waiters were very friendly, accommodating and full of jokes. We also stopped in on our last day, a Tuesday, and had to wait 15 minutes or so for a table, which wasn't too bad. I went with a glass of soy milk (for protein), a glass of green juice (decent but a little too celery-forward for me), another plain toasted bagel with avocado slices (needed more toasting... and avocado) plus a side of banana slices. This breakfast was exactly what I needed. Well-rounded and relatively healthy. If you need something for breakfast and don't want to spend more money, Las Palomas is decent enough (as long as you strategically order your food).
Be the first to ReplyA totally wonderful breakfast experience.
They are open for breakfast... with a view. Delicious food. I liked the the Scrambled Eggs with Bacon, and most often would order the French Toast. Never ending hot, delicious coffee with a cup that was always filled completed our visits (7). But the best thing were the attentive servers. One in particular, Demetrio Tayle, made our seven day dining experience one of the best parts of our vacation. Service with a smile and some playfulness. He never failed to meet our needs. In addition, every morning we were cheerfully greeted by our hostess, Areli Valle. She knew us by name and room number...and our seating preference. We have traveled well and eaten at some nice places, but hands down this place is our all time favorite breakfast venue . Good delicious food AND OUTSTANDING PEOPLE. The people here is why we will return to Cabo ( we weren't planning to return, they are drawing us back).

The food was delicious but the customer service was just horrible. We felt discriminated since we came in. We are Mexican and were discriminated by our own race. Like wowwww, we have money too. Respect should be giving to all regardless of our race. Common courtesy should be implemented in the workers. Don't come here. Go somewhere else please. They only take credit cards. No cash. Never coming back.
Be the first to ReplyOne of our first restaurants for our birthday trip in Cabo!
One of our first restaurants for our birthday trip in Cabo! The restaurant is by reservation only and Its tucked into the Pueblo bonito Pacifica just steps away from the ocean. They have a plethora of options for food you can pretty much order whatever you are in the mood for. Javier our server took Amazing care of us and even went out of his way to make sure we were accommodated. The wait for the food was a bit longer then normal but overall we were very happy with our first dinner date in Cabo! Highly recommend checking this spot out!
Be the first to ReplyThis is located in Pueblo Bonito resort.
This was one of the cleanest places ever! Every day you could see busy activity cleaning. The food was five star as well. Areli Valle and Alfredo Mayo do a wonderful job managing. I was there for five days and never came close to anything less than delicious! I highly recommend!

The food was very delicious!! I highly recommend the chilaquiles with egg whites and green salsa! The papaya smoothie is delicious as well! The view is immaculate (weather permitting) ..you have a GORGEOUS view of the water and Lovers Beach! The staff is very attentive and they go out of the way to make you comfortable! I truly recommend this place!
Be the first to ReplyNot too bad, but some things can be overcooked.
The crepes I got were kinda luke warm and mushy. They weren't really fresh and fluffy like some crepes made back home.. The tea was very bland like they used some very old tea bags they had stocked/stored away for a long time. The eggbenedict was average but hollandaise sauce was way too thick and looked kinda clumpy in some areas. It was a bit cold too. I got the Paloma's huevo rancheros and was not bad!! The bacon was also overcooked and some pieces were very hard and cold. I think the biggest issue is staff on hand. Our waiter was tending to at least four-five tables and despite his friendliness we waited almost 40 minutes for our food to come out.. And most of my dishes were cold, overcooked or plain hard. This place got so full for breakfast and very noisy outside since everyone want to sit at tables outside. Inside was quiet and relaxing but pretty plain inside and nothing to talk about in terms of decor etc. I would suggest to look at some other cafes outside the resort!
