Solid food, good atmosphere.
Best hummus I’ve ever had, views were incredible, and staff was the best
Amazing place to order a bunch of items and share with everyone
Great view and staff. Food was amazing.

We came to this rooftop restaurant after my birthday
We came to this rooftop restaurant after my birthday dinner, and the views and interior decor at night are truly stunning. We were seated at the bar and were served without much of a wait. My girlfriend enjoyed the Get Shishlik'd because it had Guava in it. The Crime of Passion with Plantation and Spiced Rum wasn't as strong as it may seem, probably due to the passion sweet which gave it a semi-sweetness. Next time I will come and try their dinner options, which are unique and admittedly pricey.

My first time going to laser wolf in the fall it was a 10/10 for sure. My second time going recently was a little less enjoyable. While the food tasted the same, which was perfection, the staff was extremely rude. They acted like we were bothering them just giving the hostess our name and didn't even look up when we came over they were just on their phone. I don't think I've ever met someone so rude? The they told us we had to be out by 8pm (our reservation was at 6:30) so that gave 5 people 1hr and a half to finish our food. I felt like we were rushed the whole time. Our waiter was fine, nothing special. The ambiance was great and beautiful views. Definitely recommend still!!
😍
Pretty amazing restaurant.
..beautiful hotel walk up with another sister restaurant to walk in to (Kfar), and then check in at elevator to go up to Laser Wolf. Great atmostphere, location, view, service (with Brian). Girl folding towels a bit of a puss, with no smile and didn't seem to be happy....but I digress. Brian was just the right amount of smiles, service, interuption. The food of course was crazy unbelievable. 9-10 Israeli "sides" with the best pita bread EVER. We chose the steak (OMG spices are on par), and Brisket Kabob (delish typical kabob in my opinion)....the cocktails were very tasty and the Israeli Rose was delish. I think the soft serve was a perfect end to my birthday celebration (as much as others thought not), I loved the simplicity and instant gratification instead of perusing the menu for desserts. I can assure you this will be a great experience, and a place to remember forever. We enjoyed it tremendously, and it will not disappoint. Kudos Laser Wolf!!

Tip: When making reservations, if you're wanting a view of the city don't book at the counter/bar. I was seated at the counter and was surrounded by tree plants (every time I went to use the restroom it looked like I was stumbling out of plants into someone else's dinner table ). Also in colder seasons, there's a plastic thingy that covers off the views - you can still see the skyline but it's not the nicest view tbh. Let's get this out of the way- you're paying a premium for for the views here. If you didn't have the views, then yes the food is overpriced here. We had prix fixe which includes Salatim (unlimited refills- however upon attempting to each everything I found it impossible to even get to a point where we needed refills for my party of 2), soft serve, and your choice of protein. I got Lamb & beef koobideh- which is only one skewer by the way. For my party of two this was more than enough for us- definitely don't have to get a side on top of this.Loved the pita- eat it when it's hot and fresh. It was super fluffy and I think I ate way too many pitas and stuffed myself before even getting my protein. Out of the salatim, my favourites were babaganoush & pickles. Lamb + beef koobideh was tender and well seasoned to enhance the lamb+beef flavours. I normally am picky with lamb because it can taste gamey and that was not the case here at all. Finally for dessert- I'm a sucker for sesame in my dessert, and this was no exception. I was pretty stuffed at this point but had to make room for it in my tummy after trying a bite!Overall, I think Laser Wolf is a nice spot- you've got views and delicious food. If you're strictly focused on food and don't care about the views, then this probably isn't for you. If you want good food and are willing to pay a little extra for a nice view I think this is a nice spot to go.

I've bookmarked this spot for awhile and I'm so glad I finally went. I tried to make a reservation about two weeks or so in advance but unfortunately the only availability was 10:30pm. It was totally worth the less than ideal reservation time though! The menu is very simple where everyone is required to get the prix fixe option (their entire salatim + one grill item per person + dessert). I chose the chicken shishlik and my boyfriend decided on the lamb & beef koobideh. The salatim is absolutely incredible. It's basically a huge plate of 11 sides and I loved every single one of them. I honestly wouldn't even be able to tell you which ones were the standouts because they were all so good. The pita they give us was warm and fluffy. Both the chicken shishlik and the lamb & beef koobideh were cooked and seasoned to perfection. We also decided to add on a foie gras. Ever since my latest trip to Paris, I've been obsessed with seared foie gras and this place did not disappoint.Service was prompt and the staff were all extremely friendly. We were totally stuffed by the end but the brown sugar soft serve that they gave us for dessert was so good that I managed to finish the entire thing. 10/10 recommend that you go here!

First, service was great! The waiter made recommendations, explained everything, and gave recommendations on after dinner drink spots. Second, the views were spectacular! I just wished it wasn't so cold because the clear covering they use has a bit of a glare which definitely takes away from it. Last the food.....flavorful, tasty, sufficient portions!! Best food we had while in NY! Drinks were good too, I had the sour patch kidz and crime of passion (super sweet).

Food was okay and honestly easy to find similar quality at better price points. Service was very inattentive and may I say lazy... the waiter forgot what we ordered and food arrived terrible late after I asked to cancel it due to delay. The tables are very small for two people and the ambiance is lackluster. Save your coins unless you're a group of five that care less about food and more about company. Overhyped. $$$

Took my partner here for his bday and we were treated so extremely well by staff. It was such a pleasure from the views and ambience and of course the main event, the food! We had the lamb and the chicken, just amazing. Can't wait to bring some other friends and family back for more wonderful drinks and food!

If you're looking for a unique dining experience that will
If you're looking for a unique dining experience that will take your taste buds on a journey, then look no further than Laser Wolf rooftop restaurant in Williamsburg Brooklyn. This Israeli shipudiya, or skewer house, is a feast for the senses. The journey begins with their signature hummus and pita, which is simply divine. But it's the array of colorful vegetable salatim that really sets the stage for the meal to come. Each bite is bursting with flavor and freshness, making you feel like you've been transported to a Middle Eastern market. And then comes the main event: the meat and vegetable skewers cooked on the charcoal grill. Each skewer is perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection, with juicy meats and perfectly charred vegetables that are simply delicious. But what really sets Laser Wolf apart is the variety of skewers they offer, from lamb to chicken to beef to vegetarian options, there's something for everyone. But Laser Wolf is more than just great food, it's also a unique and inviting atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The rooftop setting provides stunning views of the Brooklyn skyline, and the laid-back vibe is perfect for a relaxed evening out with friends or a romantic date night.

I had been eyeing Laser Wolf for a while, and finally got the chance to experience it. Knowing I would be in Brooklyn for work, I secured a reservation at the restaurant, which is located on the rooftop of the Hoxton hotel. As someone who had never tried Israeli cuisine before, I was eagerly anticipating this meal.Although I ran a bit late due to my underestimation of the complexity of the New York City subway system, the restaurant was accommodating and I arrived only a couple of minutes past my reservation time. Upon arriving, I was struck by the stunning panoramic view of the East River and Manhattan from the rooftop location. After settling in and studying the menu, I opted for the steak shishlik from the grill menu, which is a pre-fixe meal that includes all the salatim and dessert. Salatim, or side dishes/salads, are a common accompaniment in Israeli cuisine, and I was excited to try them. I also ordered the Date-Harissa Wings with Tehina Ranch, as I have a weakness for wings.Shortly after ordering, the platter arrived with 11 delicious items, including babaganoush, hummus, mushroom, and lutenitsa. The soft and fluffy pita bread was perfect for enjoying the side dishes. The wings soon followed and they were cooked to perfection, with a perfectly sweet and tangy coating that paired perfectly with the tehina ranch. I had a great time trying all the different salatim and even experimented with mixing and matching them to create even more complex flavors. The fragrant rice and steak shishlik arrived shortly after, and I was overjoyed with the flavors and aromas of this meal. The dining experience ended with a brown sugar soft serve with sesame, cherry, and crunchies. Needless to say, I was absolutely thrilled by the wonderful meal and left the restaurant feeling completely satisfied!

This place is worth the hassle of getting the reservation!
This place is worth the hassle of getting the reservation! You start off with the Salatim, everything on this was delicious. The hummus was creamy and divine, the beans with harissa were my personal favorite. For mains, we picked the lamb kofta and steak shishlik. Both were tender and juicy and cooked perfectly, the lamb was my favorite of the two. You MUST get the fries. They were perfectly crispy on the outside, and the Tehina ketchup was outstanding. I couldn't stop eating them!I loved the array of flavors here, our server was also very kind and helpful. If I can get another reservation, I'll definitely come back!

Laser Wolf was one of the best meals I've had out in a while!! The menu is primarily prefix with the option of adding some a la carte items. The way the prefix menu works is that you get a set of /Salatim (all vegan), one item from the grill, and one dessert. The salatim platter was delicious - from the hummus to the babaganoush to the cabbage with fennel and zhug, there wasn't a single miss. I was already so full on pita and salatim, so opted not to get more of anything (though this was offered and included in the prefix). I ordered the chicken shishlik for my grill item and it was cooked and flavored perfectly. The ice cream topped with sesame was the perfect balance of savory and sweet. The restaurant was fairly crowded even late on a weekday but service was very kind and fast! There are beautiful views of the city as well. Can't wait to go back!
😍
Hands down my favorite meal in New York.
the view is amazing and the food is to die for. Everything so amazing and very much worth the price. Best dining experience!

This place lives up to the hype and then some! We got the lamb and then instead of another meat dish did the sides for an extra person for $28 which was great. I'm not a huge meat eater so didn't need another meat dish but the lamb was excellent, it tasted really lamb-y in a great way. It was also a very nice sized portion. Our server Josh was excellent, super nice and fun, also gave great recommendations on the food and on the wine we got which was loved. The view was also incredible, we came in the winter so there is a plastic type thing making it stay warm but still able to see the view and that was just perfect. Dessert I was worried would just be an after thought but it had amazing unique flavors and was excellent. Everything thing here was just 10/10
Great restaurant with amazing food! Highly recommended

Everything we had was amazing. The portions are huge, you will not leave hungry. From the starter platter to the meats, everything so was so good. Definitely recommend the Bulgarian beef kebab and spicy lamb. Great place for family and friends, especially if you’re particularly hungry! Only thing to keep in mind - this place is not cheap. Bill was $300 for 4 and us and we all only had 1 drink. But I’d have to say, it’s worth it.
Laser wolf's salatim is today's wonderful upgrade of the salad bar made popular in the 70s. And what a salad bar it is! 10 great Israeli salads highlighted by hummus and served with wonderful pita. You can have as much of it as you want along with soft serve ice cream at dinner's end which is highlighted with cherry sauce. You can order the salatim and soft serve à la Carte. We also ordered the trout which was the best trout, grilled wonderfully with herbs, that I've ever tasted. Additional sides for us were great tasting wings and the best french fries. We were filled but happy. Our only gripe was the front of the house who seated us in a weird place however we straightened it out. I think a bit of training is required for the seaters. They need to smile more and be more accommodative. But this is only a nit. We highly recommend laser wolf
😍
Great spot, food awesome, service impeccable.
Brian and Olivia who came to the table made our night.
😍
The view is unbeatable.
The food is plentiful and the price is more than fair for the amount of food you get. The salatim (a massive tray of perfect dips and delightful small dishes) is compulsory as is dessert (a beautiful soft serve), then you choose an entree and sides (if you want sides. In hind sight, you don't need them, but they are spectacular if you get them). The salatim was the standout. Each little dish was pure perfection. We could have eaten just that but we opted for the foie gras and the french fries as sides. They aren't just any french fries -- they take two days to make and have the perfect crunch. For entrees, the eggplant came highly regarded so we went with that and were not disappointed. It didn't even taste like eggplant. It was otherworldly. We also had the cauliflower but since we were so full we took that home for lunch the next day. Come very, very hungry because you will leave very, very full.

I don't usually expect a restaurant with great views to
I don't usually expect a restaurant with great views to also have fantastic food - but Laser Wolf has both in spades. An amazing rooftop view looking out at the city. They have a retractable ceiling so you don't have to worry about weather. But if you get a nice day, you get to view the sun setting as you dine on a delicious mix of small plates (salatim) that come with any grill item. All of the small dishes were tasty, but the babaganoush was outstanding. And the hummus was creamy perfection. My husband got the chicken (simply grilled and so juicy), and I got the lamb and beef skewer (ground meat kind of like a long meatball). Both were tasty but his chicken stole the show. We'd come back for it - it was so perfectly cooked. A lovely date night place and a great new restaurant from Michael Solomonov.Note - the meal price includes the Salatim platter and dessert so it's not as pricey as it seems. Dessert was soft serve, tho they have a sorbet for non dairy folks.
🙂
TLDR; Great food, great service, it's hot as heck until it
TLDR; Great food, great service, it's hot as heck until it gets really late on that rooftop, prices are decently high, great views. The low down:It's on the rooftop of a hotel so you have to know to enter the hotel and find the hostesses at the base of the elevator that takes you to the top.The views of Manhattan and the Williamsburg hotel water tower are amazing and this would be a fantastic sunset view if you're lucky enough to snag a res (I myself had to settle for a 9:45PM on a Sunday because it's the only time I could get). All of the people we interacted with from the hostesses to the waitstaff and runners were helpful, attentive, and friendly.Unfortunately, NYC is going thru a heat wave right now and since it's a rooftop, it's not the coolest place to be temperature-wise but since I came so late in the night, there was a decent breeze.I got a red tequila drink that had the word sunrise somewhere in the title + cauliflower dish (which comes with all the fixings and rice and ice cream). The cauliflower was great and so were all the sides, but we could barely finish them (even though they're "all you can eat") so we felt that the price point ($45 per person) was decently high given that the sides were split.Overall, this was a phenomenal experience but I wouldn't come again unless there's a celebratory occasion or an epic date I need to plan.
🙂
The food, the views, the atmosphere 5/5.
The staff is the reason this is a 4. And it's small things, so small. But checking in on your tables, filling water, asking if the table needs another drink. Those are so basic but we didn't get that. The table behind us either. We were given their bill, and them ours. Not huge but attention to detail!!Don't get here a minute before your reservation, the staff will not let you in or go to the bar ahead of time. There are many empty tables so maybe they are short staffed ?
😍
Rooftop bar with a view at the Hoxton.
I was here for an awesome wedding. The food and view were great. The drinks were all yummy. Food was flavorful and savory. Everything was delicious.
5 stars but the service, ambiance and value for the quality and quantity of food puts it at a 5. We came here for a birthday dinner and had a wonderful experience. Our server Tabatha was fantastic, extremely knowledgeable, friendly and excited for us to experience the meal. What is incredible is that you get the salatim (including hummus and pita, as long with refills on any you'd like), an entree and dessert, but only pay for the price of the entree (around $50). The entree portions are small, but delicious, and trust me you will gorge yourself on the salatim (again, free refills, a slippery slope) and be quite full by the time the entrees arrive. We ordered the short rib and chicken. Both were extremely flavorful and well cooked (the chicken was some of the juiciest we have had), but the short rib was divine. The meat fell apart (soft interior) with a wonderfully crunchy outside. The dessert was the brown sugar soft serve and mango sorbet. Both were really good and a nice way to end the meal.Overall a really fabulous meal in a really cool enclosed rooftop environment. This is arguably the best priced meal for both portions and quality in NYC. The ambiance is amazing and the service is incredible. Be sure to make a reservation 3 weeks in advance when they open in the morning on Resy.

Lots to unpack here! First of all, the view is amazing! As other reviewers have noted, it is tough in the heat because the whole space is open and there is no air conditioning. If you want to cool off and have them pull the shades, you lose the view. Now onto the food... if you order an entree, the salatim (a platter of various dips) and soft serve dessert are included. We did this and chose the lamb and beef koobideh as well as the chicken. Felt like $44+ dollars a pop was a little steep, but I guess if you factor in the refillable dips, it is more reasonable? The dips were delicious- all flavorful, some surprising! It was fun to try a lot of new and different things. Order the French fries- they live up to the hype. We also had cocktails which were good but not great. Maybe they just got really watered down because it was so hot.

Laser Wolf is hands down one of the hottest restaurants in
Laser Wolf is hands down one of the hottest restaurants in NYC right now and for good reason that it's great. The restaurant is inside the Hoxton hotel on the rooftop, which gives a really sleek environment. When you first arrive at the hotel you have to check in with the host and you can wait in the lobby until they call your name when the table is ready. They lead you up to the elevator where you go to the rooftop where the restaurant is. It's the best rooftop dining experience I've had.Make sure you reserve a dinning table to guarantee you a seat with a view and not the counter. The salatim, which includes the hummus, pita, and the the dips are unlimited and free if everyone in your party gets 1 entree per person. It's worth it and be sure you take advantage and have as much as you can. The salatim overall was amazing. The skewers are pretty steep and expensive however the BBQ short rib is a must and I thought the lamb and beef was just ok.Order the fries they were top notch and crispy You end everything with free dessert, which was a nice addition. The negatives that I waited about 20-30 mins past my reservation time before I was able to get on the elevator upstairs. Even though it's busy they should not have guests waiting past the reservation time and I showed up about an hour before. Also the service here is kind of slow. Had to look for my waiter multiple times to ask for refills of hummus and dips.If they could provided better service that was more attentive, and if I didn't have to wait past my reservation time I would give it 5 stars.Maybe I'll come back and revisit in the future to see if they improved Solid date spot Overall I would give it a 4.3 out of 5 stars
😍
LOVED IT - but may want to take a Lyft as parking is very tight - it's Philly
Excellent Service - Food - Ambience - Michael Solomonov - Thank You. Initially had outside reservations. The host was accommodating and we were able to sit inside. Eddie, our Server was terrific. Super outgoing and knowledgeable of all including wines and considerate of any dietary restrictions. In fact, when the Salatim was placed on the table, another Server patiently explained each item. We had the tuna, eggplant, and cauliflower as main entrees. And, dessert was special. BTW - if you can't have dairy. there is a sorbet option. Yes, it's pricey but was well worth it. And, the music playing added to the fun atmosphere.

Laser Wolf is a great interpretation of an Israeli "shipud' restaurant. In Israel, there are many of these restaurants that upon seating they bring you small plates with more than a dozen salads and pita. You then order grilled meat or fish. Laser Wolf is a venture from Michael Solomonov, an Israeli chef who made his claim to fame in Philadelphia with Zahav, an upscale restaurant with an Israeli influence. After opening a Laser Wolf in Philadelphia, he opened another one on the roof of the Hoxton Hotel in the Williamsburg section of Brooklyn. The restaurant offers great views of midtown and lower Manhattan. There are some creative cocktails in addition to beer and wine. The meal prices are all inclusive. The price for the entree includes a tray of assorted Middle Eastern salads. They include Hummus + Pita, a smoked eggplant salad, a dish of Israeli pickles and olives, matbucha (Turkish tomato salad), green beans with matbucha, a pineapple salad with spices and celery, a spicy cabbage salad, mushroom and kale salad, gigante beans with olives, and pickled tomatoes and cucumbers. The salads have some kick, but are not overly spicy. The entrees include several choices including tuna, chicken, steak, and ground beef & lamb. There also a few entrees for two. My wife had the steak shashlik (skewer). It was perfectly cooked and seasoned. I ordered the ground beef and lamb. It was delicious. The skewers were accompanied by some tahini, onions caramelized with dates, and a seasoned rice dish. Finally, the meal included a brown sugar flavored soft serve ice cream with sour cherries, pistachios, and crisped rice. The food was outstanding. It reminded me of similar meals in Israel, but the salads were taken to a higher level of flavor. The wait staff was friendly, knowledgable and helpful. Laser Wolf is definitely worth a visit.

All that I can say for this establishment is bravo! I came here for my birthday and it did not disappoint. Spectacular view of the NYC skyline at night and let's not even mention the food and drinks...amazing from the unlimited salateem, to all of the meat selections and the signature cocktails...out of sight...definitely going back. My fav restaurant.

Good food but cannot get passed the rude hosts "manning the downstairs elevator". Where are we that we need two sets of hosts. I miss the Philly vibes! Honestly, would not recommend until they rethink staffing.
