Laser Wolf Philadelphia Reviews from The Last Year
Laser Wolf was an incredible experience last night.
Walking in to the place, the atmosphere immediately greets you: inviting, warm, bustling. Mind you this is a Monday. And then the service was incredible. The bartenders know what they are doing, and what the kitchen is doing too. The menu and food was confident but not cocky, knowing exactly what it is good at, and had the exact amount of intention behind it that made you feel like you were being taken care of, but not like you needed to be rich or pretentious in order to enjoy it. Great spot, would recommend to good people who appreciate good people.

The experience at Laser Wolf is 10 out of 10!!! I loved sampling all the different spreads, salads, and vegetables from the Salatim platter. The date-harissa wings and the ribeye steak both were very delicious with such vibrant flavors. Shoutout to our waitress, Raven, who was excellent!
Our recent dining experience at Laser Wolf was truly
Our recent dining experience at Laser Wolf was truly memorable. The koobideh was exceptionally juicy, cooked to perfection, and full of flavor. The salatim was a standout, with a delightful variety of fresh and vibrant dishes that offered a perfect start to the meal. The hummus was, without a doubt, the best I've ever had--unbelievably creamy and rich. The roasted cauliflower, despite being a bit too charred, was still worth every bite and added a nice touch to the meal. We found ourselves getting full from the generous portions of salatim alone, but the overall portion sizes were fantastic, especially considering the price. To top it off, the included soft serve was delightful, providing a sweet and satisfying end to the meal. Laser Wolf provided an excellent culinary experience, balancing quality and value impressively.

Absolutely worth a visit! They give you a ton of food; everyone starts out with an enormous appetizer sampler (with several vegetable mixes, hummus and salads) with pita. The main course is also incredibly tasty and fresh. Absolutely worth the cost. Good cocktails too! And vegan friendly!!

This place is the cool kid of the restaurant scene.
If you want a lively dining experience, like a night at the coolest club in town, but with delicious Middle Eastern flavors instead of loud music, go to Laser Wolf in Philly. This spot is fun and energetic. It's a mix of casual and trendy. It's not for a quiet night out, but perfect for a fun evening with friends. The service here is on point--pleasant and quick without feeling rushed. The staff knows their stuff and will guide you through the menu like a pro. They're more than happy to give you the lowdown on what to expect with each dish. Now, let's talk about the food. Every meal kicks off with Salatim: a spread of hummus and a variety of dips served with fresh pita. It's a fantastic deal and a must-try. Everyone raves about the hummus, as expected, it is legendary. But, I found myself unable to stop devouring the babaganoush. Those little smoky eggplant clouds were dangerous. Each little dish is unique and addictive, so pace yourself or you'll be full before the main event! Speaking of main courses: charcoal-grilled perfection. I tried the chicken Shishlik and the Koobideh (lamb and beef)--both were amazing. And don't ignore the charred cauliflower. It is a revelation. It's especially good with the sauce underneath. The sauce ties everything together perfectly. I hear a lot of hype about the dessert, but let's be honest, it's a fancy soft serve. It's cool, but not life-changing. Think delicious ice cream truck vibes, not a life-changing experience. But hey, it's included in the price, so go ahead and enjoy it. All in all, Laser Wolf offers great value for money, especially given the quality and quantity of food. Just a heads-up: snagging a reservation can be a bit of a challenge, so plan ahead. Trust me, it's worth it for a night of fantastic food and a buzzing atmosphere!
One of my new favorite restaurants, there's a reason it's
One of my new favorite restaurants, there's a reason it's so hard to get a reservation here. The spreads were insanely delicious and unlimited. The salmon was truly the best salmon I have ever eaten and the desert was out of this world. All of this for just 38 dollars is an absolute steal

Flavor explosion! We really enjoyed this restaurant on a recent trip to Philly. So far, none of the restaurants featured in "Somebody Feed Phil" have disappointed, and Laser Wolf was no exception. If you don't have a reservation, don't fear -- go anyway and see if you can sit at the bar. When we arrived on a Thursday evening around 8:30 pm, we didn't have any trouble getting seated, and the hostess said they recommend folks doing this. It was just two of us but I could see this being a great place to come with a small group of people, mostly because there's so much food. The bartender gave excellent recommendations, mostly warnings about how much food is served. The menu is expansive but limited at the same time. I could see being completely overwhelmed if we had to choose every little thing, so we really appreciated that the dinner was essentially curated for us -- all you need to do is choose your protein and pay one price to have all of the standard things included. I think you come for the experience as much as the food itself. Because I don't eat much and we didn't have a means to take any of the leftovers, we decided to get only one meal and share it. FYI, you still get charged I believe around $20 for the other person anyway, but that's still cheaper (and less wasteful) than having to pay for a second meal. For the protein, we had the beef kebab. It was unlike any other kebab I've ever had... more like a sausage than a skewered beef. Some of the dips in the salatim sounded insane, but they all made sense in concert with the others. I'm not big on spice, so some of it was a bit too much for me. However, I loved loved loved the dessert. The Turkish coffee soft serve was fine, but the star of the show was the Strawberry Sorbet which had rhubarb syrup and a Sicilian pistachio rice crunch. The cocktails were expertly crafted, service superb, and overall great experience.
It was a wonderful experience there.
Nice atmosphere. Service was great. The food was delicious. I especially enjoyed the salatim, which is hummus and variety of dips with fresh pita/bread. I was having trouble controlling myself from overeating before the entree was out. For entree, we choose Whole Dorade, which is grilling a whole fish. The fish was not bad, but my husband and I felt it was a bit burnt, too much charcoal. The restaurant was very nice to make some adjustment for our meal. At least they tried to fix their problem. My husband and I both agreed that we would return and try out their ribeye steak next time. As for their dessert, i love their turkish coffee soft serve!!
The service and atmosphere are not at the same caliber of
The service and atmosphere are not at the same caliber of food quality. Our waiter was extremely unhelpful. He said he had no recommendations for entrees. We also asked for a very dry rose and he recommended probably the sweetest option on the menu.
Justin K, our server gets 5 stars, but the food gets only 4.
Justin was absolutely amazing, he took such great care of us, and while I am sure he treats everyone this way, it made the whole experience so special. When we mentioned we were there for a birthday and our anniversary, he offered us bubbles on the house. We don't like bubbles, and instead of just moving on, he gave us a delicious shot to end our night. Thank you Justin!! I was ready to have at least one mind blowing dish, one where I take a bite and close my eyes to savor, just based on the hype. But I was disappointed. The salatim were good, but the cauliflower and mushroom dishes were just okay. I will say the cost to food ratio was great, you get a LOT of food, and when it says included on the menu, it feels like you are getting free food. The brown sugar dessert was in fact delicious.

We all know the reviews - just know our first time here was enhanced greatly by our server Riley. He made us feel like family. Thank you! Wonderful experience! Wish you were opening on the west coast!
Tasty food, excellent service, and parking nearby.
What else do you need in Fishtown?

It's quite the racket: Fill up on salatim then get Basically no meat* *everything was good, it was all just fine tasting. The meat portions are so small it's laughable. But you will get full from all the pita and hummus they serve you before the meat comes out. Don't need to return
Last night we dined at the chefs table.
Our experience was enhanced by our charming and knowledgeable server Sean. We took his lead and had a scrumptious dinner of Delectable mezes which Sean described in detail. We then followed up with melt in your mouth sirloin. He brought these French fries that were crisp, savory and memorable. Our water glasses were topped off continuously Without a blink of the eye. We had a wonderful time. Thanks Sean
Another human being saying that Laser Wolf is excellent?!
Another human being saying that Laser Wolf is excellent?! Ground breaking. I was lucky enough to dine at the Chef's Counter for the first time last week and thoroughly enjoyed the evening. Brass tacks FAQ: 1) You're paying for the entire experience built into your entree price. Expect to spend anywhere between $60-$120 per person all in, depending on appetite and money spent at the bar. 2) Use Resy notify to get in, but you need to be lightning fast once you get the notification - especially if you're hoping to dine during peak times. 3) Chef's counter is amazing for a group of two. I found there to be plenty of room for all dishes, drinks, boxes, salatim, etc. 4) Save room for soft serve. 5) Take note of the automatically added 20% service charge. Other than that, sit down and get ready for an amazing night. I enjoyed every single salatim dish and it's obvious the team here works hard to get flavor profiles JUST right. Surprise hit for me? Smokey, marinated beets. Standard favorites like the hummus and kale eggplant dish were also stunners. For our mains, my boyfriend and I opted to go meat heavy with the koobideh and sirloin. Truly, I can't recommend this course of action enough. The koobideh is unmissable and I was impressed by my boyfriend's ability to put together the most beautiful bites (meat + pita + a little hummus + tahini + onion = genius). We went brown sugar soft serve and I forced myself to get through more than half of it, but was SO full. The rice crunch makes it. My only regret is ordering a cocktail instead of a glass of wine. I like their wine list a lot and while I enjoyed my cocktail on it's own, a glass of red wine would have really made the meal more indulgent and coherent. Other than Goldie, this is my first interaction with a Solomonov restaurant and I can't wait to get to more of them for special occasions and top tier hospitality. And hummus. All the hummus. Thanks for an amazing night, team!
First time at this Israeli Restaurant.
Food, service and atmosphere was great. For cocktails I tried the 2 Israeli beers; Netanya, Israel, 4.9% and Tel Aviv, Israel, 6.5%. Both were very good. The Lamb Beef Koobideh was delicious and for dessert Brown Sugar Soft Serve Ice Cream. Food was plentiful and the serve staff was nice, friendly and helpful. I was not rushed and had a wonderful time and experience at this restaurant. Definitely return on my next trip to Philadelphia
Absolutely fantastic restaurant and a fantastic meal! I
Absolutely fantastic restaurant and a fantastic meal! I was traveling for work and so sat at the bar -- the bartender/waiter was awesome and service was superlative. You start out with the salatim which included 10 or 12 things . . . one better than the rest. The hummus was particularly great, especially with the freshly baked pita. I had big eyes, I guess, as I actually ordered the fish (I would've been fine with the salatim), and it was delicious as well. My only regret was that I was flying solo -- the atmosphere is a fun one and I only wish that I had brought a whole crew in. DO NOT MISS THIS PLACE!!
Look below.
..thought I didn't finish the review truly a great experience, nothing has changed
Salatim, Tuna Tartare, Koobideh, Salmon, Brown Sugar Soft
Salatim, Tuna Tartare, Koobideh, Salmon, Brown Sugar Soft Serve, and Lime Coconut Sorbet Okay this was unreal. Such a killer meal. The salatim was so fun, there's so many different things to try! My fav was the kale babaganoush. And they let you get refills of everything on the salatim and more Pita too! Which btw the Pita and Hummus are lifechanging. Tuna tartare was really yummy. Salmon and koobideh were out of this world good. Brown Sugar Soft Serve was a little meh, but the lime coconut sorbet was perfect. Cute interior with really pretty light decorations
A Must Visit in Philly!
Service was efficient, informative and caring. Atmosphere was upbeat and fun. Best of all though was the OUTSTANDING food. Everything was DELISH! Just wished I lived closer and could easily enjoy it more often!
Great healthy tasty food
Friends were in for vacation so my wife and I took them here. They usually ask the concierge at their hotel for the 'best restaurants' in town, which are often anything but. Two months later they still rave about our dinner. First time I was here, and I already have plans to go with another couple next December.

Great Service - amazing dinner!!
Read about the site in NYT and bought a reservation at Mother Wolf in LA 2 days later. Worked great and the food was amazing!!!
Worked perfectly!
Got the reservation (that I couldn't get anywhere else) and was able to entertain a group of friends at the infamous Bern's Steakhouse.
Got into Nobu Malibu
Wonderful! My parents are visiting and we have wanted to go to Nobu Malibu for years. I tried getting a reservation myself but it was next to impossible. So glad I was able to buy a reservation on appointment trader for a decent price!
Very easy
Was very hesitant going into this experience but am glad to say that it worked out very well ! will definitely use appointment trader in the future
Fabulous Lunch
I was veeeeeerry skeptical that this would work, particularly at a restaurant as hard to get into as Nobu Malibu, and it was perfect! We had lunch outside on the patio and it was fabulous!
Great reviewer team
Just wanted to take a second to shout out the reviewer team. Even though they probably review hundreds of listings and bids a day, they still take the time to leave great comments and respond relatively quickly. Thanks!
Incredible
I got a reservation to Don Angie, which I've been trying to book for weeks! I am very happy with this service.
Best platform out there!
Super simple, easy, and fast to secure reservations for hard-to-get restaurants and locations!
This app is life changing
This app has opened my world up to so many wonderful new experiences I would never have the chance to have without access to this awesome app! 10/10!
Worked perfectly
Was a little nervous at first but was pleased to see that the booking went through flawlessly.
Highly recommended.
Success on Short Notice
Was able to snag an indoor table at Don Angie through an absolutely seamless worry-free process.
Worked perfectly, thank you!
This is a crazy holiday season in NYC and I was very pleasantly surprised to see that AppointmentTrader works! Will be using again!

So glad I came across this app :)
Quick table in Miami
I didn’t have my hopes high as it was a party of 4. In 24 hours I had a carbone reservation available! I was very happy as my family really wanted to come here
Prime time, great meal
So easy and had a prime time which I can never seem to get on normal res apps. So worth it
Got impossible NYC res
instead of waiting weeks I got my 4 charles reservation instantly
Worked perfectly to get into Carbone. So delighted
perfect
Worked well, got me into a restaurant with no availability
I was skeptical, and I still don't really know how they managed to find this hard-to-find reservation, but it was a win-win from my point of view, and I'll use this service again.
Last minute reservation for Delilah Las Vegas
Got a last minute reservation, dinner for 2 at Delilah Las Vegas: super impressed! The process was simple, transaction seamless. We had an amazing time! Couldn’t be happier! 😍
It works!
Ok at this point I've attended a reservation purchased on AT by a friend and sold a reservation personally. Both worked pretty smoothly, nothing sketchy about it. A few areas for improvement including a way to more directly communicate between buyers and sellers, but the app always seems to be in development. AT customer support is really(!) responsive and helpful too if you have questions!
Money transfer
As a seller, I like the fact i have the ability now to transfer money out of my AT account and into a bank account. Makes getting the money much easier then the process before.
Love this app
Got to go to places otherwise unreachable
Easy Access
Very easy to get into one of the hardest restaurants to reserve in New York.
Whose name will my reservation be under when I arrive at the venue?
It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!
Payouts Blocked Because of Sell Through Rate
Does anyone know how AT plans to handle cases where a seller is quitting the platform but has a sell through rate <25%? The error message I got said to fill more bids or find other ways to increase the rate.
Is AT really going to block sellers from withdrawing their money? Especially revenue made before the sell through rate was introduced??
Tune into NBC News - Top Story Tonight 7:40p ET
Let’s go. Get more people placing bids!
I will give you 50% of ALL of my PROFITS if you teach me how to make profits?
LOL. Thank you The New Yorker.
Appointment
Transferring reservations is not supported in AT. Why not just use the name in the AT screenshot?
Buyers interested in Bern's Steakhouse: PLEASE READ
Same goes for 4 Charles and I Sodi
Prepaid Reservation Fee
Agreed. Ultimately not addressing this month after month is clearly resulting in a drop in certain venue’s rankings & sales.
Congrats on 3 mil
🍾🍾🍾🍾🍾🍾🧨🧨🧨 now on to 30 mill!
Need to cancel a bid, not getting a response… how do I do it?
Click on "Take off the Market Option" in your portfolio
Working on your bid?
Your bid has been “matched” with a reservation. From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.
Process after bid is accepted.
Hey @EvocativeFold67, welcome to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.
Where do the Reservations on AppointmentTrader come from?
Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.
What happens if my bid expires unanswered?
Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
