My husband and I had the tasting menu this past visit. The meal started with two wonderfully bright and delicious courses. Although after the salad, each dish on its own was amazing, in sequence I was left feeling heavy and almost sick at the end. Following the salad course, each dish had a heavy creamy buttery richness that in my opinion needed to be separated or finished with a bright clean dish. We were served a mushroom dish that had a wonderful mushroom cream sauce, next a lobster dish with creamy lobster bisque, then a fish dish with a cream pepper sauce, The last savory dish was then the foie gras stuffed quail with robuchon potato's (half butter). Heavy and rich followed by more heavy and rich. The dessert was then a whiskey ice cream with chocolate components- Eek! My mouth was begging for something clean and bright and fresh by the end but they didn't deliver. Although this experience left me a little disappointed I couldn't deny that the flavors were there and that each dish on its own was wonderful. I would just suggest the chefs really consider the sequence and contents of the meal and not bombard the diner with so much heaviness. I honestly love cream as much as the next gal, but this was overboard. Give the cream and butter a little break.
.. but the service... HORRIFIC!!!!! We spent about $1000 for the meal. The "sommelier" spent no time going over wine pairings. The pacing of courses was very off with over 30 minutes between some. I spilled my water and it took over 30 minutes for someone to notice or get me a new napkin or more water. The waiter essentially never checked on us. When we asked to speak to a manager they said someone could come but it would be a while. They handed you a credit card machine to check yourself out. When you're spending 1k on a meal... this should not be the experience. I would never come here again and never recommend it to anyone expecting a fine dining experience. Truly a shame as the food was good. Do NOT come here!!!
😍
Excellent food and service.
I really enjoyed the dining experience here. For me it's way too expensive, but you get fantastic meals served by a fantastic staff.I'd go back for special occasions, but certainly for me I can't afford this level of luxury often.

In A Nutshell:-If you are looking for a really nice dinner
In A Nutshell:-If you are looking for a really nice dinner that leaves you happy & more importantly full, then book a reservation at L'Atelier de Joel Robuchon.-L'Atelier means "The Workshop" in French by the way.-If you are reading this review, it means that you do enjoy fine dining from time to time, but if you are like me you really enjoy fine dining that leaves you very full w/ good food.-You won't need to stop by a fast food restaurant an hour afterwards b/c the portions here are very generous.-The menu changes about once every 10 weeks per the staff who told me.-There are several options for you to choose from here, the first is the seasonal prix fixe menu, you can also order a la carte or you can choose from one of three menus you can create.-You'll be able to choose from appetizers (1 or 2), main course (1 or 2) & a dessert (just one).-My partner choose the $95 menu (2 appetizers, 1 main course & dessert), I choose the $119 menu (2 appetizers, 2 main courses & dessert).-Each menu comes w/ Amuse-Bouche.-The next time I come I'll go w/ the $95 menu b/c I left feeling pretty stuffed.-You'll get to choose from a variety of appetizers & main courses such as La Daurade (Royal snapper carpaccio), Les Gambas (Blue rock shrimp), Les Tagliatelles (Spicy lobster tagliatelles), La Caille (Carmelized quail filled w/ foie gras) & L'Entrecote (Ribeye steak).-We ordered each of the above dishes & they were so gooood!-Finally the desserts we ordered were the Le Souffle (Coffee souffle) & Les Tartes (A selection of traditional tartes).Overall, like I mentioned above, if you are looking for a great fine dining experience in an open-kitchen setting eating good food & leaving very full, this is the place for you!

Date night here tonight for my anniversary! So impressed!! We did the seasonal tasting menu and everything was amazing!!! The restaurant is very small. We sat at the bar overlooking the kitchen. It was pretty cool to watch them in action.
😍
Had a fantastic time for my wife's birthday dinner. You will enjoy it.
Pros:
1. Fantastic food! I had the $75 tasting menu.
2. Fun to sit at the bar for 2 people.
3. Friendly staff and knowledgeable sommelier.
4. They brought my wife a little surprise bday dessert. (I had forgotten I probably mentioned this to them in an earlier email.)
5. The bread and butter! Wow!
Cons:
1. Unfortunately, you get a bit of cigarette smoke from the casino.
2. Wine a bit pricey, so we brought our own bottle and paid the $50 corkage fee.
You will have a great time. Go!

A lot has changed, I guess
Been here a few times and we have been to the Paris location. Food is usually good and service is always top notch. Not this time. Maybe Covid hangover or just not much oversight by the head chef. All the food was over salted, waaayyy too much salt.
I had a steak and it arrived cold, I had it warmed up but it took another 15 minutes and by the time it arrived my guest was already done. No real apology. Had the tune carpaccio for an app and it was just salt.
Service was really off. Slow between courses and not much in the great service we have had in the past.
Compared to my recent visit to Daniel Boulud's Pavilion in NYC, L'Atelier was not even close.
Sorry to say I will not return again.
😍
We had the most AMAZING dinner here.
Patrick was our most magical server. Every item we had was exquisite! I will dream of the snapper carpaccio for years! The service was top notch. Every flavor was epic. Thank you for such a wonderful experience.

As always L'Atelier excels in every way.

Visited L'Atelier with my girlfriend for our anniversary
Visited L'Atelier with my girlfriend for our anniversary and we had marvelous dining experience. We enjoyed the Seasonal Discovery Menu and loved each and every one of the seven courses. Every dish was intensely flavorful and even more beautiful. Sitting at the bar, our experience was spectacular and turned into an immersive show as we watched the chef's expertise and precision in the preparation of our dishes. Attention to detail was a priority through each course and we were even presented with an array of four special tarts for the celebration of our anniversary. Although this meal is pricy, it is more than food and should be considered as an experience which made L'Atelier worth every penny.
🙂
Shout out to Patrick for making our dinning experience
Shout out to Patrick for making our dinning experience lovely. He recommended how many dishes we should order and he was on point. We got the 113 menu and added 2 more items and it was plenty of food for the husband and I. We enjoyed the foie gras, the bread basket was freshly baked; their sliders was a perfect choice for a tasting. For entree we enjoyed the lobster bisque pasta and the quail. The highlight was their mashed potatoes that came with the entree. The blue rock shrimp I felt for a salad was standard. The snapper was slightly salty for my taste. The coffee soufflé was a delight and my favorite dessert of the trip. Overall a good value for what you get for a menu set. All the dishes were solid. It's more of a trendy restaurant so expect it to be a little loud. It's a small restaurant so you most likely will be seated at the bar but you can watch the kitchen do their magic. Would come back for the soufflé and mashed potatoes. :)

We spent a week in Vegas as a couple and did our grande finale dinner here at the bar. We splurged on the tasting menu and wine pairing. Was outstanding! The service was phenomenal as well. Justin was especially a pleasure to talk with and we are so proud of the staff and all they do to make this an especially spectacular experience! This was a repeat already so we will be back for sure. It's on our must visit list when in Vegas.

Le Atelier was quite the experience! It's located near the casino area in the MGM Grand hotel. Self parking is available at the nearby lot.The restaurant has a cozy, dimly lit but upscale atmosphere to it. If you sit at the bar, you can see the open kitchen with all the chefs at work. There are multiple dinner options ranging from a seasonal tasting to a la carte to a build your own multi-course meal. We opted for the seasonal tasting, and it did not disappoint! Favorite dish was probably one of the seared fish with a spicy sambol sauce. Would highly recommend if in the area.

I miss this place! One of my top favorite food places in Vegas when we visited a girlfriend there ~ I didn't have Yelp back in the day and am posting belatedly but just looking at the pictures makes me want to go back I loved every single course plus all the shared desserts.

It was our first visit to a Joel Robuchon restaurant for my wife and me. But Justin made us feel like we were seasoned regulars. He was engaging, funny, informative, and provided spot-on service. Everyone in the kitchen worked so hard to deliver the culinary works of art that Joel Robuchon was renowned for. We had the tasting menu with wine pairing and everything was simply delicious. We will be back the next time we are in Vegas and we highly recommend this establishment to anyone interested in the next level of food.

Wonderful tasting menu!
My friend and I had the tasting menu + wine pairing. I don't know much about wine, so I can't really attest to the quality (my friend enjoyed it), but the food was amazing. Each dish was so well thought out in detail and presentation, and every component was delicious on its on and in combination. The service was also great - everyone was friendly and attentive.
I also really enjoyed the ambience. I assumed it would be fancy on the verge of stuffiness, but it was the total opposite - very laid-back and more on the casual side. My friend and I would both go back, and have recommended it to everyone we know traveling to Las Vegas.
