Very good cuisine at a proud price
You can still eat very well at the Affranchis. Nowadays, only a multi-course menu is offered at lunchtime for the same price as in the evening. The desserts are presented buffet-style and are a selection of pastries from which you can choose indefinitely. The food itself is very good, but the concept, especially for lunch, did not convince us.

I spent a weekend in Paris and on Saturday 5 August I decided, together with my husband, to go and eat in this restaurant. I had read about this Italian chef who cooks in the French style, revisiting dishes in a talented and creative way... and I wanted to try it. The place is welcoming, sober and tasteful. From the menu you can immediately notice a search for tastes and unconventional paths and also attention to vegans and vegetarians. We took advice and ordered the carousel of appetizers: excellent! I really liked the "tomate" a l'amande , the mastery of visual composition and taste is interesting. I then ordered rabbit with lavender and apricot, spectacular! What, in my opinion, distinguishes this place is that these dishes are an olfactory, gustatory and visual experience. Colorful and fragrant dishes. Very good Chef Enrico!!!! The wines accompanied us on this journey, enhancing the flavours. And last but not least....desserts, my great passion, in the center of the room there are beautiful desserts! I ate the peach cake: fragrant, soft and delicious, I tasted the ricotta cake...cake that tasted like home , simple but perfect. I consider this restaurant an excellence.....what can I say.....super recommended

I returned after a few months to this restaurant. The chef has changed the formula: a carousel of starters, a choice between fish and meat and, surprisingly, a table with a dozen desserts and each customer can taste what they want. Quality and imagination of dishes always at the highest level. One word: incredibly exceptional. Bravo to the chef

I have a notice stating that my bid has been accepted and is awaiting transfer. The reservation is for the 18th, but the “moderator” said he will confirm booking by the 28th. Is this an indicator that I may not have a reservation?

Hey @EvocativeFold67, welcome to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.
