Les Trois Chevaux New York Reviews from The Last Year
Food was good but definitely not worth the price.
It was priced at the same cost of a two or three star restaurant and definitely not at that caliber. Service was okay. I usually don't write bad reviews but the price of the meal went from 200 per person at booking to double. So many better places to have a good meal in nyc.
NOT TO BE MISSED IN GREENWICH VILLAGE
The place is perfect, located in the heart of Greenwich Village and we ate very well there, the welcome is friendly, relaxed in a warm and calm setting with a very successful vintage atmosphere. I highly recommend.
Excellent New York restaurant
I highly recommend this restaurant with excellent quality of food and service. The parmigiana and lava steak are very good. I highly recommend this restaurant with very good quality of food and service. Parmigiana and lava steak are very good
while the food was very good on the whole, it didn't
while the food was very good on the whole, it didn't necessarily match the price. It was pouring rain and 3 minutes before the restaurant opened and when we tried to go inside, the Maitre d' locked the door on us. Recommend the crab for the entire. The $300 croissant and caviar was overkill.
This is haute cuisine & a fine dining experience & it's
This is haute cuisine & a fine dining experience & it's pricey & worth it! I came for restaurant week and met Chef Angie Mar which was thrilling in itself. It's a beautiful room with blue banquettes & flowers & exudes the kind of Manhattan elegance that has been lost since COVID. My name was on the table on an end& that touch was super personal & welcoming. I was impressed with the selection of the RW menu as I was worried about a meat focused menu. Ate: White Asparagus with malaise sauce & truffles Spring onion soup with pastry crust & more truffles($24 supplement) do not miss King Salmon with caviar in a sorrel sauce Desert was crème caramel with morell Juliane wine Aqua Panna bottle The restaurant week menu was $60 for three courses which an amazing value but the total with water, wine & the soup was $130 before tip and so worth it. The attention to detail & ingredients shines through every dish & the staff is an incredible group. This dinner was a performance. I loved my meal & would say the white asparagus, soup & dessert spoke the loudest., There is a cheese course that arrives on a cart. What a fabulous meal & show.I can't recall a more spectacular meal in NYC in recent memory since the Tak Room. There was also a tin of macadamia nut cookies as a parting gift. #Divine
Great Bistro
I ordered the well-seasoned Spicy Chicken with salad, guacamole and fries, which were excellent. My dinner partner began with the Beat and Mango Salad appetizer followed by the Veal Milanese with Baby Arugula, Sherry Vinaigrette & Parmesan entree. Unfortunately, the veal was breaded, and my dinner parter has a gluten allergy. When we brought this to the waitresses' attention, she offered to speak to the manager about exchanging the veal for Risotto aux Champignons. The Risotto dish came with Arborio Rice, Cremini & Oyster Mushrooms, Shaved Parmesan & White Truffle Oil. After such a great meal and impeccable service, we were sure to leave an equivalent gratuity.
After reading some of these review I knew I had to write
After reading some of these review I knew I had to write one. Anyone who didn't know it was going to be expensive.... well seriously did you look at the webite? Anyway ...it was an extraordinarily experience from the velvet comfy chairs to the beautifully appointed environment, amazing service, including Chef making sure we were enjoying all 9 courses of perfectly constructed plates with just the right balance of salt, acid and flavor, we enjoyed every minute of it. We love the adventure of a tasting menu and have tried many in NYC but this was by far the best. Every course was incredible including the cheese which was creamy, rich and delicate . Bravo!
We had a fantastic dinner last night at Les Trois Chevaux.
We had the four course tasting menu and the selections were so amazing. By the time we got to the 3 desserts the chef included for the table, we were so full, but each one was delicious. I heard the people at the next table also remark to the chef they weren't sure they could eat another bite but they would make an effort. Each dish looks like a work of art, the flavors are incredible, and the service is excellent. We recommend you give this restaurant a try. It's a wonderful experience. Amazing food, great service and a lovely atmosphere

When you sell a reservation that has a prepaid fee AT takes a commission on that fee. This doesn’t really make sense because it’s an expense the seller incurs not part of the profit that is shared.
For example:
Carbone NYC fee to book table for 2 is $108.88
If you sell it for $200 on AT you get $140 from them.
Your net profit is $31 and AT collects $60 in fees.
It would make more sense not to charge commission on the upfront fee as this creates a disincentive and results in higher costs for buyers.

Agreed. Ultimately not addressing this month after month is clearly resulting in a drop in certain venue’s rankings & sales.
