If you're lucky enough to get an reservation here, please come hungry so you can order so many things. Lilia was so delicious with simple fresh ingredients. We ordered rhe mozzarella with lemon on toasted bread, agnolotti, mortadella tortelli, lamb sausage with fettuccine, and vanilla gelato.The pastas are super fresh and made daily in house. Every pasta was like a flavor bomb and our minds were blown from all the different flavors. Our favorite was the crunchy bread with fresh warm mozzarella. The agnolotti was finished with honey... and I was shocked on how the flavor just mesh so well with the creamy sheep's milk ricotta.. I think I'm still dreaming and drooling!!! The mortadella tortelli was sooooo good. The lamb sausage ragu was coated all over the fettuccine and I wanted to lick the bowl!!! Our gelato was smoothly and creamy, we get to choose which toppings we wanted. We were a little greedy and chose all toppings!! We love the simplicity of Lilia and how they approach their dishes with great ingredients! We loved the service, our waiters were super attentive, friendly, and amazing!! Next, we need to try Misi!!

My friend and I had been so excited to finally snag a reservation and get to go here for dinner. We were seated promptly and our server was wonderful. The sommelier was very helpful with his wine suggestions and we order a great bottle of wine. We ordered the artichoke, agnolotti, gnocchi and bass. I am a vegetarian so I personally ate some of everything but the fish. I really enjoyed the pastas, they were both flavorful and very fresh. They were also light and you definitely can eat more than one dish or share a few between people and not be over stuffed. The artichoke was unique and tasty as well. My friend did not enjoy her bass much unfortunately. Our biggest issue was that all of our food was served at room temperature at best. The pasta was not even the slightest bit warm. We also thought the food was a bit overpriced for what we got, maybe if the food was warmer we would've enjoyed it more.

I have been waiting so long to try Lilia ever since we went to Misi.service - 5/5, our waitress was very friendly and attentive.food - 4/5, we ordered cacio e pepe frittelle (5/5), roasted leek focaccia (10/5, the best focaccia I have ever had in my life), grilled clams (1/5, you can skip this, clams were extremely chewy and dry, not much flavors), grilled prawns (2/5, I can tell that these were frozen and texture was very mushy), sheeps milk cheese filled agnolotti (10/5, it's a must! so delicious, it actually reminded me of home made ravioli we had in Capri), and Rigatoni Diavola (1/5, not sure why this dish is famous, very blend and lacking flavors). drinks - 2/5, we ordered a bottle of Rarefratte Vespaiolo as our waitress recommended and it paired really well with all of our dishes. loved it! but we did not like their cocktails.. (you can skip ordering bianco bianco - tasted very watered down, vesper - really average)ambience - 4/5I would definitely come back for roasted leek focaccia and sheeps milk cheese filled agnolotti! enjoy!

I wouldn't spend weeks trying to get a reservation here, but one was given to me so I happily obliged. Skip the scallops, the mafaldine was probably the most unique (slightly too salty) but different, rigatoni was solid, but my favorite dish was surprisingly the little gem (crisp and flavorful). Overall the food was 8.5/10 but the reason I'm writing this is because the service. Our waitress (didn't get her name) was beyond sweet, which was unexpected at a slightly more pretentious spot. She was amazing, and the rest of the service genuinely blew me away. They didn't rush you through your meal and would come and clean up your plates but always check to see if there was a bite or two left and would only take what was totally finished. Service 11/10. Vibes 10/10, fun and bustling yet still felt quaint.

We couldn't get the reservation for a long time. I saw an available spot randomly. They do take walk ins. If you want to go as a walkin, i would recommend to go on a weekday at 4-5pm, before they open. They get packed really fast.Lilia is a very nice Italian restaurant. Interior isnt too much. Open kitchen and bar. Many wine and liquor selections. Food:Grilled clamps: various flavors with breadcrumps on top. I highly recommend this. No clam fishy smell. Very well grilled. One of my favorite seafood I had in NYC.Malfadini: very sharp, richy flavor with parmasean sauce. Noodle was pretty chewy but easy to consume. Absolutely fabulous taste.Grilled bass: very well cooked. No smell. Uniformly cooked. Very soft. All the flavors work together to create perfect taste. Give this one a try. I loved it!Overall, very recommended. I would like to come back to try more dishes.

I went to Lilia recently, to celebrate the life of someone very dear to me. The restaurant welcomed us like family and helped recreate a very special evening there. Everything was divine, from the sommelier's wine selection, to the delectable dishes, and surprise desserts. A huge thank you to the staff, for their compassion, attentiveness, and service. We went early in the evening without a reservation. Before we sat down the hostess told us they had a table for two but would need the table by 6:30 because they had reservations for the seats after us. We didn't mind, but as we sat down the server again reminded us that they needed the seat at around 6:30. Okay I get it. Although the service was good, at the end they had multiple tables open without any patrons. A little more than half filled restaurant around 630. I asked the server if she still needed the table because we just ordered our desserts and she said it was okay. It left me confused and a little turn off, like they didn't want my business from the beginning and are seeking whose next. On to the food:Very good pasta, very good desserts. We had the the cheese fritter appetizer which was interesting and good, the clams - while the flavors was there, the clams came out dry. The scallops was cooked perfectly but to me I didn't like the pairing of the crème, but my husband didn't mind it. The Sheep milk and the peppery pasta very good . Also the sea bass was good but too salty for my taste bud. If my husband said the dish is a little salty, it probably is because he loves His salt. All the dishes complimented the red wine the server recommended. I'm sorry I don't remember the exact names of the dishes and only the descriptions. We order the Italian job and the open face apple pie for dessert, which was divine and ended the night on a good note. Overall a delicious place to try if you're in the neighborhood. Would I go back? Probably not, there's just too many places in NYC for me to cover all it. Would I recommend it. Yes

After learning reservations are extremely hard to get, I knew I had to come! I had no luck with their online system, so I decided to call one day and luckily they picked up and I was able to make a reservation!Malfadini - their specialty! The pasta is long and noodle like, and texture of the pasta was perfectly al denté. We ate the Liang Pi noodles from Xi'an Famous Foods a few hours prior to this, so it felt like we were eating Italian Liang Pi lol. It's not too saucy, the flavor is light. Very unique!Roasted Leek Focaccia with green garlic butter - this will be the best focaccia with garlic butter experience you'll ever have! Trust. The bread is perfectly warm and so fresh, and the butter is so spreadable and every bite is delectable. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Literally every table in our row ordered this!

Buzzy and lively yet the diners weren't sitting on top of each other. Cozy, dim lighting with the tea candles illuminating the table.I was here for one thing and one thing only - the spaghetti with pine nuts, lemon, and parmigiano reggiano. I remember having it some time in 2019, and it was just as good as I remembered. So damn good. The spaghetti itself was cooked perfectly, and the silky sauce coated each strand. And because I shouldn't leave the place having eaten just the spaghetti, my friend and I tried the little gem salad and the scallops. Salad was a nice prelude. Scallops were delicious. It came with a nutty yogurt sauce. They were good separately - but together a bit much. But still enjoyable. Topped everything off with a clean Gruner Veltliner from Alto Adige. Will be camping on Resy at 9:59 am so I can score another res. So worth it!

An enjoyable meal from start to finish, but it's hard to understand why Lilia is as highly esteemed as it is. It's clear that the dishes are prepared with care using fresh, high quality ingredients, however, I have been here four times and have never walked away feeling mind-blown by any one item. Starters: The little gem salad is light and refreshing, would recommend ordering. The focaccia and garlic bread starters have the potential to be stellar, but the focaccia is on the dry side (rather than fluffy), and the cold mozzarella on the warm garlic bread just doesn't do it for me. Pastas: The chewy textures of the Mafaldini and Rigatoni make the pasta itself delightful, but their sauces are lacking flavor. The Mafaldini, which is one of Lilia's most popular dishes, is essentially just coated in butter and pepper. The Agnolotti, also a fan-favorite, is delicate and pleasant, but is nothing memorable. The one dish I explicitly disliked was the gnocchi, which has a dense and spongy, unappealing texture. Dessert: the soft serves are tasty, but nothing special. The Apple Crostata we had was divine- would highly recommend. Service: poor? weird? We were told upon checking in for our 5:15pm reservation that we'd need to give the table back by 7:15pm. Understandable. When we ordered, we told the server we would want dessert at the end, and asked him to do whatever he needed to do in terms of pacing the courses to allow for us to have dessert and be done with the table by 7:15pm. He told us he couldn't make any promises, but could get us our dessert in to-go boxes if there wasn't time. Not understandable? If there isn't time to guarantee a customer can order 3 courses in two hours, don't place a two hour time limit on a table. Not to mention, soft serve in a to-go box? Then, the server disappeared for 25 minutes towards the end of the meal, and left us feeling considerably rushed when finally returned (after we asked 3 different individuals to send our server over if they could).

The lamb steak was huge and delicious. The sheep's milk pasta was good but very milky. Our waitress was amazing. The restaurant as cold, recommend that you layer up. Great experience overall.

I've come here a couple times and each time it has been awesome. You can try calling in the day of to get a reservation for those that last-minute cancel or to get squeezed in for early dinner. Haven't been here for brunch yet. The food is fantastic, and I don't typically like Italian food. The wait time is a bit much. The waitstaff are pretty busy, but each dish is well-cooked and tastes good so the wait is worth it. The wine glasses are nice and the prices are reasonable. The atmosphere is low-key and dark. It's a great date place. They don't do anything special for birthdays.

Out to dinner with our son and his girlfriend. They’ve eaten here before but our first time. Service was outstanding- attentive, helpful, friendly. Food was even better! Every course got better and better. Apps- prosciutto, clams and artichoke were wonderful. We each had pasta. My agnolotti melted in my mouth. Split olive oil cake and crostata- both great. Really enjoyed the meal.
