Very cute little place.
Good food, service was alright, but we were hoping to get our cocktails in teacups as advertised, instead coming in martini glasses.

The restaurant and bar boast an inviting atmosphere, pleasant ambiance, and elegant décor. I must commend Simone for her exceptional bar service. Her professionalism, attentiveness, and helpful demeanor truly exceeded expectations. Grey Goose

Lillie's has amazing food, ambience, music, vibe, service and DELICIOUS FOOD! If I could give them 100 stars, I would! I went to dinner with a group of five girlfriends and we had an absolute blast. It is the perfect place to get together with friends for drinks at the bar or a dinner. Such a wonderful comfortable, and fun environment. The flowers on the ceiling reflects the season. The service is sooo friendly and attentive. It's about a 6 minute walk from Times Square. I had the crispy red snapper with sweet potatoes, my friend had duck with mashed potatoes and Brussel sprouts, and we also had the Lillie's Fall Salad with arugula with fresh mozzarella salad which was divine. Don't stop there. We shared a bottle of champagne and had a cheesecake, crème brûlée, and chocolate cake. All mouthwatering and worth fighting over! Thank you to the team at lilies for such a wonderful experience and dinner.

Decided to come here during the winter & it was completely decked out in winter decor, made you feel like you were in a winter wonderland. The drinks were also on point as was the food, if you're looking for a yummy salad can't go wrong with the fig salad or if you want meat, the duck hits the spot. The waitress was very nice, just a little slow. Overall a good experience.

Writing this now cause I genuinely wanted to forget the whole experience. Let's start with the service it was relatively busy but not busy enough to miss multiple items from our order till the very end even while reminding whoever passed by since our original server was no where to be found. Ambiance was one of the first things to make me even go to this place I expected a nice Victorian setting instead I was greeted with Penguins and Polar Bears (which was very cute to be honest) & pop music didn't really fit the mood I originally went there for but it wasn't that bad. Now, lastly the food. The brunch items were pretty good but the nail in coffin had to be the "Afternoon tea" please just go to Prince's tea house or any other location that offers "tea party" experience. From stale desserts/bread , flavorless finger sandwiches, and cheap tea (which we received at the very end) legitimately ruined my whole mood.

Great servers. A bit pricey but good overall. Have been here a couple of times and will come back to bring friends/family visiting the city

I recently visited Lilillies Victorian in Times Square, New York, a couple of days after Valentine's Day, and it was an experience I am eager to share. This restaurant is not just a place to eat; it's a visual journey that captivates from the moment you step in. The aesthetics of this place are nothing short of breathtaking. The restaurant is adorned with unique displays and artwork that hangs from every conceivable space, including the ceilings. This artistic ambiance adds a layer of enchantment to the dining experience, making each moment inside memorable. The decor, which seamlessly blends the Victorian vibe with modern flair, sets a perfect backdrop for a romantic dinner or a special celebration. The culinary experience was equally impressive. We were treated to a series of mocktails that were both inventive and refreshing, a delightful start to our meal. The Caesar salad, which I can confidently say was one of the best I've ever had, was the perfectprecursor to the main course. It was followed by calamari that was tender and perfectly seasoned, creating a flavor profile that was both bold and satisfying. The steak, our chosen main course, was a masterpiece of flavor. It was cooked to perfection, offering a melt-in-your-mouth texture that was richly enhanced by its seasoning. The sauce was soooo good!!!!! This dish alone would have made the visit worthwhile, but the cheesecake dessert that concluded our meal elevated the entire dining experience. It was creamy, decadent, and the perfect end to an extraordinary meal. Amazing experience that engaged all the senses. The combination of its stunning aesthetics, remarkable artwork, and a culinary journey that delighted with every course makes it a must-visit destination in Times Square. Whether you're a local or a visitor to New York, a meal at Lilys is an unforgettable experience that leaves you wanting to return for more.

This place is so much fun! The decor is unique and creative! It is quite the escape inside. It is fun to sit at the bar in the middle because the seats have backs to them. You can eat at the bar but it is tight! I had a dirty martini that went down too quickly! I also ordered the chicken pit pie. It comes in a cast iron skillet. The pastry is cooked to perfection and has a beautiful presentation. The flavor is delightful, light and so delicious!! It was excellent comfort food and I ate it all!!!

Went here for their afternoon tea which had received positive reviews. Was rather disappointing with one stale scone, no cream and some not very fresh finger sandwiches. The coffee crème brûlée was the saving grace. Also was asked if I would like still or sparkling water which appeared on the bill for $9 which was an unpleasant surprise.
Be the first to ReplyTo be fair, we did not eat or drink anything at this
To be fair, we did not eat or drink anything at this restaurant. We had walked by it the previous day and thought it looked great, and it had great reviews. We walked in at approximately 1130 to have a nightcap, but the minute we walked into the door we were blasted with very loud music. Because we knew that we would not be able to hear each other talk, we decided to leave. What a shame. I find this happening at a lot of restaurants and bars lately. The music is so loud in some places that the waiter cannot hear us and we cannot hear each other. I don't know what this trend is, but I wish that restaurants and bars would realize that people are coming to talk and share a meal and/or drink (unless we are specifically there to hear the music). Why play loud music in this situation? It just degrades the experience.

Food was great, specialty drinks a little on the sweet side; decor is awesome and the staff are friendly, but music is both way too loud and genre feels out of place for the vibe. It's a struggle to have any conversation in there.
Be the first to ReplyGreat place and good service.
Visited 2 days in a row. 1st night was just for drinks and Miguel and Devin were fabulous. 2nd night was for dinner. Food was good and staff were friendly.

So we decided to try this place to celebrate a special occasion on a weekday. First impressions as we walked in - the décor looks awesome. The interior looks like a flower garden with pink blossoms hanging from the ceiling & covering the walls. Truly Instagram worthy. In my humble opinion the bar food seemed to be better than the entrées - loved the chicken wings for instance. The service was a little hit and miss. I think the staff got busier as the evening wore on as patrons streamed in.

Unfortunately we were having a dry night so we missed out on what appeared to be a long list of amazing libations that complimented their eclectic victorian decor. Upon entering you must take a moment to "stop and smell the flowers" and just absorb all of its grandness. You will immediately be taken to another place in time that crosses over from the past to the future all at the same time. The large hanging flowers give you a sense of a magical secret garden reminiscent of an upside down world from stranger things. We had the Caesar salad as an appetizer which had a mountain of gentle shavings of parmesan cheese over subtle bibb lettuce leaves and super crunchy crouton and a light lemon dressing .. so good! we had the shepard's pie which had a sweetish tomatoes flavor and less hearty than we would expect. we also had the fish and chips with yummy tartar sauce. the fish was fresh light and flaky in a crispy beer batter crust served piping hot. we were surprised with the fries that had a seasoned salt and a bit tangy but it went well with the tater. i would have preferred just a salted fry, but it was new and different. Service was fair, no one was rushing to our table to fill our waters and we had to wave them down twice. Nothing to complain about but it was a bit presumptuous during checkout when the mobile payment devise was preset to a 20% as the lowest tip option. I didn't like that. i gave a 4 and hoping my next visit will get them to a 5 after enjoying their libations!!
Be the first to ReplyThis is such a cool spot.
The ambiance alone is worth a visit! It's dark, mysterious and very "Broadway". The food is really, really good. Kind of elevated bar food?! Guilty pleasures all around. I liked everything I ever ate there. They also have a great bar.
Be the first to ReplyUsed a pulsd voucher for brunch here on a Saturday.
We got here around 1 pm and it was packed, definitely recommend reservations for anything before 2:30. It seemed like a lot of the patrons were tourists or on their way to see a show nearby. Service was a bit slow but our server was nice and gave good recommendations. The one thing that was a bit annoying was that while the restaurant does close their kitchen between brunch and dinner service, they still serve drinks. My friend and I must have waited thirty minutes or so in a relatively empty restaurant around 2:30/3 to order drinks while the wait staff was chatting by the bar and some were having their meals/breaks. I totally get that workers should get their breaks, I worked in the service industry as well, but there needs to be someone covering the paying customers who are still there. The decor was obviously beautiful as expected. My friend ordered the French toast and I ordered the Shakshuka, we both enjoyed our meals. Great flavors and texture in each dish. Portion sizes were pretty big as well. It's definitely a cute spot for a girls day or a date! Would love to come back to see their decor for other seasons!

...This review hurts my own heart to write. If you look at my reviews, I rarely give a bad one, because I ONLY go to places I know will be amazing. I thought this gem would surely be the same. Before I give you the very sad news -- I do want to say give Frank & Tommy's place a try & just b/c I had the worst restaurant experience of my 50 years of life, doesn't mean that an unenthusiastic Monday night staff should bring the whole establishment down. I feel bad for the owners. If this was my place I would be heartbroken. Back story. I brought my 16 year old daughter to NEW YORK CITY - to take a big beautiful bite out of the big apple. It was our big night OUT! Lillie's & Phantom. I booked the reservation 3 weeks in advance. I could have gone ANYWHERE in the city. I CHOSE LILLIE' S -- because it looked charmed. It looked magical. I knew my daughter would love it!Truth. It is charmed, in ambiance. It's wildly breathtaking. It made me want to learn all about Lillie. It made my daughter want to paint her & learn about her. The flowers were breathtaking & the fresh flower in my (real) champagne was glorious and smelled so good. Thank you.The poor waitress we had was clearly very shy. I think she's a little nervous so talk to people. She's young. I wanted to read her specials for her. Oh, if she was my daughter, I jwould give her a giant hug. I love that she is out there in Times Square trying & I want her to conquer it. Find your voice girl & own it! Power up! You got this. Gah! If it was just her I would have given her $50 bucks for the night, just to say, "YOU can do this!" But, sadly, this review isn't just about her...The over-the-top-passive-aggressive waiter clearly hating the 'tourist-Time-Square traffic was having NONE OF IT! What crime did I commit? Wait for it... wait... Ok, I asked, for salt, where there was none to be found. What really happened? Oh you wonder... let me spill the tea...The expediter dropped our food off. We took a bite of the Seabass (very good by the way! Get it) & the Pot Pie (teeny weeny morsels of chicken drowning in butter and serious straight cream; it was a cream pie) & quietly looked around for our waitress, to ask for salt. Hmm... I couldn't find her. So I politely looked for the hostess -- I needed a napkin too -- couldn't find her either. I then looked for another waiter. I couldn't find one. Looked for a work staff of any sort - none to be found. I looked again, and again and again. There was literally no one anywhere. My daughter suggested I get up and talk to the bartender. I thought, 'nah, that's too much!" I finally saw the hostess come out from the doors. I subtly waved. Darn, she didn't see me. I waved modestly across the long room again. Still... looking away. I tired waving again, and now I feel embarrassed, because the people around me can see me trying to find service. She still didn't see me. Then the waiter (a different waiter than my original server) saw me. VICTORY! I made contact. Our food is cold. Oh well. Trying to make a great time for my daughter! It's a big vacation. He gives me the "one second" finger up motion. I tell my daughter, "Victory! I got someone's attention - salt is on the way!" Oh wait, he stops to chat with his co-worker. They laugh. They are having fun. Oh my -- it's a great joke they are telling. Okay, now, he has to put an order in.... he does that. I understand. I am just happy someone is coming to talk to us. He walks over highly annoyed that he has to deal.I ask politely, and embarrassed that I have obviously inconvenienced this waiter walking all the way across this enormous restaurant to enquire with us....I say gently, "where is our waitress?" He answers in an aggressive tone, "SHE IS EATING HER DINNER!!!" I say confused, "Oh, eating her dinner? Okay?!" He snaps back unnecessarily "SHE IS A HUMAN!" Shocked, I think, wasn't she serving this whole section of people paying to eat their dinner; it seemed like a little bit of a busy time for her to go and take a meal. I mean her whole section was full. Do waiters in Time Square eat their meals just one hour before the theater starts? We were trying to catch the show. Or, if they do have their dinner break, don't they hand you off to another sever to check on you? Nah? The passive-aggressive-let's-put-these-people-in-thier-place-waiter, did just that. We were most certainly degraded & put in our place. For a very expensive meal, my daughter got to see & experience what it means to be "shamed" by a pretentious NYC waiter!I told my daughter, "you can't REALLY know NYC until you have almost been run over by a cab & abused by some waiter!" This was our worst experience in NYC... but in truth, it was the BEST lesson in life, on how to NOT BE! We will forever toast to "the horrible experience at Lillie's in Time's Square!" Cheers to the beautiful misery at Lillie's!
