🤢 2/5 - Buffet-style reheated pasta is not worth $34, no matter how good martinis are

Went here for dinner the other day. Some food was great - some food was comically bad, even after sending it back. The pasta tasted like something you'd get from a lunch buffet in midtown that's been standing around for a few hours. We suspect they forgot our food standing around under a heat lamp - because the pasta along the edges of the plate had gone dry and hard, but the pasta in the middle had the right consistency. Having to wait a long time was also a give-away. We sent it back - and got new plates quickly. A little too quickly, I think. It had the same issue - likely they just heated our plates some more, and added some more sauce, and called it a day. We should have sent it back again as we realized, but at this point we were starving. So instead we paid $34 each for buffet-style reheated pasta and ragu. We got one dessert comped - but not worth it. Never coming back - which is a shame because it used to be a favorite place. The martinis were good though, hence 2 stars. Arguably one of the worst upscale dining experiences I've had in NYC
