We arrived at the hotel at 6pm after a very tiring journey, having been delayed for 3 hours due to a flat tyre. We were very disappointed at the customer service of their reception which was curt and dismissive in relation to our room and parking arrangements. We did not feel at all welcome. We had asked for a room with garden view but were given a room looking out onto a very unattractive wall with no view. When we explained that we had requested a room with a garden view we were told that there was no possibility of changing rooms as the hotel was full, which was not the case. It took the intervention of the owner for our room to be changed for a garden view, for which were happy to pay a small supplement. The hotel has so much potential and the wine selection and the food in the restaurant was good (although limited due to lack of availability of staff), however our experience was extremely disappointing due to very poor customer service which we have never experienced before over many years of staying at Logis hotels throughout France (4 visited on this holiday in France).
