The absolute hi-lite of my stay in London was the Trader Vic's at the Hilton. A fun, historical, transportation space with incredible food and themed cocktails. This, alone, is a reason to stay at the Hilton!

Ummm , I think not! Your workers stole my son's passport and we had to call the police to find it. No Thanks to the manager who would not even speak to us!!! Funny how when your workers stole the airpods with the passport and we located them online miles and miles away you got involved and blamed my son! Ridiculous!!

We had a fabulous 2 night stay! This hotel is located in Mayfair near Hyde Park and Buckingham Palace. We were attending a concert at Wembley, and the transportation from Mayfair is very streamlined to Wembley ( JUBILEE LINE all the way to the Stadium). Our room was on the 19th Floor, complete with breathtakingly gorgeous views of London. Two things really stood out for me about this hotel:THE EXECUTIVE LOUNGE AND SERVICEThis is one of the best executive lounges we have been to in Europe. In addition to lotsbof comfortable seating and delicious food, the lounge staff function as a satellite Reception service as well. They brought us our room keys once our room was ready, and arranged for late check out for us. The service is 5 ! Everyone from the cool door man with the top hat to Reception to the lounge was exceptionally polite and service oriented. It's very apparent that there is a lot of customer service training taking place .This hotel is expensive, but was worth it to us due to the lounge benefits. A special thank you to three employees who truly stood out: EVONE, ALEJANDRA AND MARTIN.THANK YOU FOR A VERY SPECIAL STAY

I had high hopes for this hotel but ultimately it was a total letdown. The good: friendly staff, excellent location. The bad: the rooms are really dated and battered. They definitely aren't very clean. I'm glad I only had to stay there one night...I definitely won't return.
Be the first to ReplyLovely hotel and beautiful rooms.
The location is very inconvenient if you're coming from the underground though

I just want to say a big thank you to the staff at the Hilton park lane for making my stay so nice! The check in staff especially Danny were so helpful. The Podium restaurant manager is a fabulous guy. I had a couple of glasses of wine in the spectacular 28th floor bar with amazing views over London. Just a really great stay in a very nice hotel!
Be the first to ReplyBest tea service!! Great food and amazing service.
I was able to meet the floor Manager who gave me a nice tour of the property and walked me to the top restaurant to see the amazing view of London. Walking distance to all the nice boutiques in the area. Definitely booking here for at least 2 nights on my next London trip. Maria Marr was great at the Front Desk giving us information and history of the hotel.

This is a very mid level Hilton and should not be confused with higher end which their price per night implies. My husband is a lifetime diamond and we have stayed all over the world in Hilton properties. This hotel was priced the same as the Conrad and I should have known that was crazy out of gate but at times Hilton's can be a full service higher star so I tried. The service was so horrible for this level of hotel. At one point I was trying to return the rental car we had from Sixt which had closed and i asked if a concierge or hotel staff could assist with returning to the garage since they had closed. They absolutely refused but stated I could go next door and ask their doorman. That doesn't sound very big except they had a doorman and a concierge and I was their customer. The business next door felt so bad for me they helped and refused to take any tip. Again comparing this experience to a high end 350 euros per night hotel. I thought also this might be a higher price because of the location but it's actually not any better than the Conrad in fact arguable less desirable because it is ON a very busy round about of street and you have to walk underground to be able to walk to desirable areas. In hindsight Obviously we loved the Conrad but if we had this type of service I would have chosen a double tree or Hilton garden inn. All solid options for a price that matches the service and amenities. I saw a few other options for a much better price

London Hilton on Park Lane is a hotel which needs no introduction located on the well-known, high-end Park Lane in London. When it opened in 1963, it was the first Hilton Hotel in the UK and since then has made a lot of history, it was where The Beatles met Maharishi Mahesh, the target of a bombing in 1975, and in more recent history it was the sad site of the death of singer, Dolores O'Riordan. It also has two restaurants, Podium (chefs won Great British Bakeoff Professionals and serves Afternoon Tea), and Michelin starred Galvin at Windows on the 28th floor. As a "five-star" hotel so room rates can get pretty high, pretty often in excess of £400 and occasionally around half of that for a standard room but this is pretty common for the Mayfair location and hotel class.Special credit must go to Tabita B who made my stay much easier, helping reserve a room in advance; due to an issue with a roll-away bed, due to my HHonors status, I was upgraded to the Grosenvor Suite which included a good breakfast, usually £30 & Executive Lounge access, which for me truly symbolises five-star hospitality and customer service. That being said, however, the entire team here went above and beyond and tried to do everything they could to make my stay complete. Sending me an email before arrival which obviously wasn't a template again shows amazing staff who go above and beyond.Upon arriving at the hotel at around 3:30, I was told my room wasn't ready yet which was a shame however the wonderful staff escorted me to the executive lounge which also is fantastic with a range of snacks and beverages depending on the type of day, and they also are able to do gluten-free snacks on requests. The selection of tea was also fantastic. I didn't particularly enjoy the toppings I was given (2 x mushroom and 2 x prawn) however. The executive lounge was huge, albeit slightly old-fashioned the views of the city were unbelievable with comfortable seating.I was asked to pay a £100 deposit on check-in for accidentals which is equal to £50 a day, I understand this as most hotels offer this approach but £50 a day for me makes no sense, I can't help but feel it should be one flat fee, what if someone was saying for 1 week or 2, who has that amount of money to put on hold? Not everyone has a credit card! The lifts were pretty maverick, where you' click your floor from outside on a panel and be directed to the lift and then be at your floor in seconds - very quick, cool and modern! The Grosenvor Suite I was placed in was stunning, it was amazing and amongst the greatest hotel rooms I've been in, I'd even go as far to say it was better than my home, other than the size of the TV which was a little small. The suite included two separate areas by a door, a lounge area with a toilet, TV and desk, and the main sleeping area with the bathroom with a bath, walk-in shower and toilet as well as wardrobes etc.Comfort was key in the room, from the sofa to the large king sized bed and even including the chair they had in the sleeping area, again I'd even say it makes my brand new bedroom at home look like a dump.Even the room service menu was very broad, having a bigger selection on the night menu than many hotels do altogether. (Albeit it was expensive)One of my few issues was the TV is a little small and old and the fact BT Sport 2 wouldn't work. The range of channels was merely satisfactory: there was also no TV guide function. The whole room seemed well stocked as well as excellent in terms of facilities, including a huge shower, loads of soap and even an umbrella! The minibar was crammed full with overpriced items, after having it emptied they didn't mark it on the system so I was charged nearly £300, causing some confusion and distress but this was promtly addressed,Another thing which impressed me with the hotel is that the wi-fi seemed to be much faster than most Hilton hotels connected free as an HHonors member and there were a good amount of plug sockets considering it is an old hotel including bedside ones. Also at the side of the bed was a rather cool switch feature to open and close the roller blinds, as well as control "night-mode" in the room and lighting.Location minutes away from Marble Arch and a short journey via tube or bus to every major attraction is great. The 6 bus from Stand B is just five minutes and two stops from Green Park Underground Station. The room did have slight external noise from the busy road it's on, but this is expected for its' location and wasn't as bad as other hotels.I have spent years struggling to find a fantastic hotel in London, today I have finally found one which could give any hotel worldwide I've stayed in a run for its' money with spacious comfortable rooms with cool features and amazing features. This hotel for me deserves none other than a coveted five-star rating, which is the second hotel (third business) to receive the golden coveted rating.

I had the pleasure of staying here for 13 days at the end of October for a conference event my company hosted. It was wonderful! Coming from the United States and this being the first time staying in London for an extended period, I was not sure of what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised! The hotel and conference areas is a little outdated. My room was not ready as flew in quite early. They let me use a standard room to rest and shower. This room was outdated but still pretty clean. When I moved to my regular room (which was a suite) it was updated and very lovely! See pic for my view. The food was outstanding! Room service was on point and being used to overpriced drabby foods for room service in the States, I was expecting worse but omg... it was wonderful! Late night milkshakes were the best!I also have to say that conference food was top notch. Though the conference facilities were outdated and could use some sprucing up, service was great, food was outstanding and over all accommodating our requests were granted. I would love to come back here!Location close to Buckingham was great and all local pubs were great too! I believe we plan to return next year The restaurant Gavlvin at Windows was the most tantalizing service and tasting I have ever had! My taste buds will not forget the way the chef artfully creating such an amazing meal. Definitely deserves the Michelin star!
Be the first to ReplyMy husband and I had the worst experience ever.
We were in the hotel for 4 days and the AC didn't work any of the days (how could a hotel industry afford this and that too Hilton).I have proof of whatever I'm saying. The temperature outside was 9-11 degrees but inside the hotel and in our room was 26. We were literally dying. The worst part is that the hotel reception never informed us. Second night at 4am, we called the reception and asked them to send someone fix the AC, to which they told us that the AC isn't working at all. Then we asked for a fan, because we were dying of sweat. It's horrible that how come a hotel industry afford this. Hilton being such a big name and that too in a location like London, ahhhhh. It sucked. I'm never going back.

We were excited to check in to the Park Lane Hilton for our first stop on our anniversary trip - and the Hilton staff didn't disappoint us.They knew it was our anniversary and upgraded us to a higher floor room with a beautiful view of London - and the Thames and the London Eye. They also had champagne waiting for us in the room with a signed card. A lovely touch! We were starving when we arrived and decided to have dinner downstairs in their restaurant. I'm not kidding when I tell you that it was one of the best meals I had during my time in London. I recall ordering a steak - it was cooked perfectly. Our server was excellent and it really set the tone for our stay.We greatly enjoyed our time here and would gladly stay again one day.
Be the first to ReplyGreat hotel in the upscale Mayfair district of London.
Our stay was top notch! From the rooms to the gym to the spa to the execution lounge, everything exceeded our expectations! You can't beat the service and hospitality for the price. If you are looking for a great hotel to base your London adventure out of, you've found the right amount place.
