Aren't DMV Appointments non-transferrable?

While it's true that appointments are technically not transferable, for DMV Appointments the transfer service is included for buyers at no cost. The transfer team has both - the sellers and the buyers dmv information, so it can cancel the sellers appointment and then rebook under the buyers name. Should something not work out the Appointment Trader Money Back guarantee will kick in. In any event you won't be turned away when you go to the DMV as the Appointment will be in your name.

Not worth the time and money

Takes ages to get to from all the usual London attractions, was empty when we got there but took ages to get food. We had voucher for set menu, not much choice. Starter was ok but nothing special. We both went for fish and chips with mushy peas for main course and had high expectations. Did not expect tinned mushy peas that were served cold and tasteless thickly battered fish with bog standard fries. Ordered ice cream for dessert and got one small scoop. Very underwhelmed with the whole experience. Toilets are upstairs and the whole floor smelled disgusting and ladies toilet floor had clearly not been cleaned that day. Was really looking forward to something special but didn’t get it.

Tonight while in London my sister and I chose to have reservations at this Gordon Ramsay location. I have to say I am quite pleased!! I also looked up some articles regarding gluten intolerance in the US verses in the UK and today decided to let myself go a bit. There are many people who find they do not have the same reactions. Stay tuned for follow up on this. We were blown away right from hitting the door! The decor is upscale, modern, and chic on the inside then you step straight into some kind of old world oasis in the secret gardens. The hostess and every server we passed as we made our way to the garden smiled genuinely and said hello. Even the chefs as we passed the kitchen! From there the service remained impeccable! Service clearly gains 5 stars! For the appetizer my sister and I shared the tamarind spiced chicken wings. These were cooked very well!! Crispy, yet moist and delicious. The tamarind spice was insanely perfect for any palate. The heat just ever so slightly present in the background. It took 4 wings for my mouth to notice it was getting warm. I only missed a hint of sweetness. For our entree my sister and I agreed we had to have the confit duck and I swear my eyes rolled in the back of my head with EVERY SINGLE BITE! It again was moist, tender, fall off the bone yet with a perfectly crispy skin that I do not understand!! The butter beans with just a hint of mustard and a bed of cooked spinach...I HATE cooked spinach! Well... I thought I did anyway. Every bite was absolutely divine!!For dessert we very much enjoyed the tiramisu. It is slightly different from the US but in every wonderful way. The flavors are more subtle, not over sweet. Obviously food freshness and quality gains 5 stars. Ambiance and cleanliness... well as I mentioned above the decor is spot on! My only critical observation is that there were multiple spider webs on the outside decor and dust! I was seated right next to a spider friend in the plant as well. This would have been very bad for me once upon a time. Others... may not be so okay with that. So ambiance and cleanliness gains 4 stars as every other place was immaculate! I believe that brings this location to 4.5 stars but alas... we don't do that here. 5 Stars! Great job team Ramsay!

A One off Experience

I had voucher for my 60th in 2020 but due to covid, have only just managed to book it. We were quite excited to visit. The set menu looked interesting, but nothing out of the ordinary so we opted for the a La Carte and had the voucher value deducted. The starter of olives and bread was ok, the monkfish osso bucco was delicious but needed to be at £32! Dessert was Tiramisu, again delicious, but I could have done as good a job. This was £9. It was an expensive meal, £140 with a bottle of wine and then the voucher deduction. The interior is modern and clean and the staff very friendly and polite. It might be an idea if the waiting staff familiarised themselves with the dishes. I asked a couple of simple questions, although they didn't know the answer, they found out for me. It's in a interesting location, we sat by the window watching the ferraris, Lamborghini and other expensive cars drive by. We had to book trains and a hotel to visit, so an expensive trip but worth the experience.

We really like the new look in the inside restaurant. The last time we came we felt it looked a little tired but now it looks much more elegant. We actually sat in the secret garden and had a delicious meal. The curried crab and apple was wonderful as was the rhubarb and burrata and we had fish pie and monkfish for main which were really tasty. Excellent and very friendly service. Looking forward to returning regularly.

Ok at this point I've attended a reservation purchased on AT by a friend and sold a reservation personally. Both worked pretty smoothly, nothing sketchy about it. A few areas for improvement including a way to more directly communicate between buyers and sellers, but the app always seems to be in development. AT customer support is really(!) responsive and helpful too if you have questions!

Best Answer It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!

Best Answer Your bid has been “matched” with a reservation. From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.

Best Answer Hey @EvocativeFold67, welcome to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.

Best Answer Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.

What happens if my bid expires unanswered?

Best Answer Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
