Low quality food
Average low quality food! Service was ok While the ambiance was decent ( too loud) and the staff friendly, the overall dining experience fell short of expectations. The food lacked the authentic flavors I was hoping for; it felt somewhat bland and uninspired. Additionally, the portion sizes were on the smaller side considering the prices charged. Overall, it was an average to low dining experience. I don’t recommend it.

Best Thai food I’ve ever eaten….and I’ve been to Thailand! My partner also thoroughly enjoyed their meal. Service was brilliant too. I would high recommend.

The place is hopping busy, so make sure you make a reservation. When you get there, you will know why it's busy. OMG, the food is so good. Our server was excellent. Though busy, she was still on top of everything and was very friendly and helpful as it was our first time there. It will not be our last though!

Does Lotus of Siam need more 5 star reviews? Probably not. But, damn! It was a tasty experience. Big shout out to a place this large, this packed and with such a vast menu for delivering some of the best Thai outside of Bangkok. It's too bad we don't live in Vegas otherwise we'd be here weekly. However, next time we get the itch to head to Nevada, we'll be back. Yummy!
Be the first to ReplyWOW! I wish I lived closer to be able to go to Lotus of Siam more often!
The food and service was exceptional! Kelly, Kevin & Nick took great care of us -especially Kelly that made incredible suggestions and provided over the top service! It is not just the best Thai food -- it is top ten for best meal! We wanted to figure out how to take it home with us! It was beyond delish!!! You will not regret stepping slightly off the strip for this experience.

Top 3 Thai restaurant of all time . Try the fried Prawns (wild caught). Red curry is awesome. The garlic pepper chicken was very fragrant (all herbs ground fresh). Thai basil fried rice is one of the best. Try the cocktails.. highly recommend

Very beautiful place to take a date or friends. They are attentive to making sure you get a good experience. They let us in early since we arrived earlier than our reservation. I loved the other locations and the flavor of food cooked by the mom. I am Thai and this location of food being made had something missing. It didn’t make us want more. The food cooked by the mom at the other location we could not get enough of. Otherwise it was beautiful there and we were treated very good.

We have heard rave reviews of Lotus of Siam so finally made a reservation for a special occasion. We were seated promptly, but the service was a bit strange. The earliest reservation should not be seated in the least-desirable seating (crammed middle table in the side room). When asked if we could move to the nearby table since nobody else had arrived they said no. I guarantee the other couple seated after us were from out of town & hadn't requested a special table. Alas, we got over that...But felt like we were dining with the two tables that we were smashed between... Somtam (Thai style papaya salad) was mediocre. 7/10 spice requested and not spicy in the slightest. We did love the Northern Thai style dish options on the menu! Those are not available at many Thai places. The Thum Ka Noon was the best dish out of the bunch--a unique flavor, however the 8/10 spice level seemed more like a 2/10. The Kang Omm with catfish was also tasty...But again, we asked for 8/10 on both dishes and they were not spicy AT ALL. We had to ask two different servers for some heat & we used the entire plate of spices for flavoring. I'm sorry, but we've been to numerous other Thai places in Vegas area that far exceed Lotus of Siam and are less than 1/2 the cost and don't require reservations. Also, dang...fix your spice level! Don't make assumptions...I want my food to be actually spicy when asking for 8/10! I cannot imagine what a 2/10 would be...
Be the first to ReplyGood, But Not Spicy
Still good, but not as good as it once was. Service was outstanding, but the "heat" scale for spiciness has from a 1-10 to a low/medium/hot. Asked for, "Thai-spicy" hot as I have in the past and it wasn't even a medium. Other than that, the larb, garlic prawns and drunken noodles were quite good.

Great lunch buffet- delicious . One of the best restaurants in all of vegas- pad thai, thai tea, mango sticky rice, green curry chicken. prawn dish all must try
Be the first to ReplyDo not be 2 minutes late as the manager will refuse to sit you
Due to traffic, we arrived at the restaurant 2 minutes past their 15 minute grace period. The manager was extremely rude and refused to sit us as the kitchen was closing soon. The manager of the restaurant I guess doesn’t realize she is in a service oriented business. She could have sat us and said please order quickly rather with a smug attitude say sorry you are 2 minutes late. Really disappointing experience

My daughter and I were in Vegas and this restaurant was on both of our lists. We were worried that we didn't have a reservation, but walked in on a Friday about 5 pm and got seats at the bar very quickly. The feel of the restaurant was amazing and the food was very good. The bartenders were attentive and we both enjoyed our dinners very much.

A friend recommend this place to us. We liked it and would come back to visit. Appetizers, soups, entree, wine… you name it, it was good Duck fried Rice, hot and sour shrimp soup, sea bass and noodles Banana desserts

I was really excited to try this place but was quickly disappointed. We had the Crispy Duck Khoi Soi, it was good, but the other dishes we ordered were just so so. We had the Crispy Prawns, make sure to eat these when they are hot as they were NOT good at all when cooled down, a bit oily, greasy tasting and for $35 I expect better. The charge extra for white rice and a small portion, really....I couldn't believe this. We also had the Northern Larb with beef, it was extremely salty. We had an uber driver that told us next time we need to go to China Town in Vegas to get real authentic Thai Food.
Be the first to ReplyA Las Vegas Icon
Already the rare Las Vegas recipient of a James Beard Foundation Award, Chef Saipin Chutima named Best Chef: Southwest in 2011, Lotus of Siam needs no introduction – though its recreation on Flamingo and fanciful digs at Red Rock suggest the Chef’s children have bigger things in mind about the Restaurant’s legacy going forward. Having visited the unassuming icon of Thai Food twice prior, a lunch in 2012 and dinner five years later, Wednesday evening found the expansive new location predictably packed from Bar to back room where a party of four sat amidst locals as well as tourists. Known best for spicy Norther Thai traditions and Riesling, though Thai Tea or Coffee may be prudent for those looking to quell the flames of dishes such as Steak Tartare teaming with Chilis, Lotus’ “Thai Ceviche” titled Koong Char offers a complex medley balanced by Citrus while Som Thum can be ordered the usual way or lightly fried with Tempura. Requesting everything level five of ten, the stuffed Chicken Wings flawless but mild, Tom Kha Gai arrives spewing fire at the center of Coconut and boiled Chicken blended with Lemongrass while Sea Bass Som Thum presents steamed Sea Bass flaky beneath Vegetables, Sugar and Lime. More pricey than Thai anywhere else in town, though the ingredient quality is undeniably high, Garlic Prawns earn signature status with edible Shells still on as do Nam Prik Ong and Crispy Duck Khao Soi that tastes like more assertive Panang Curry thanks to the acidity of Vinegar and Lime. Lit up by Thum Ka Noon, or Shredded Young Jack Fruit with Pork, Issan Sausage delivers snappy Meat with deep yet pleasant funkiness while Grilled Ribeye Panang shows off Prime Beef resting in Chilis and Coconut Milk. Not exactly “known” for sweet stuff, Desserts instead recited tableside, guests can expect the usual Sticky Rice and Coconut Ice Cream or opt for deep fried Bananas with Honey and a surprisingly well-crafted Pineapple Upside Down Cake served warm a la mode.

Just had a fabulous meal here. The service, food and customer service was excellent. Special shout out to our waiter, Bon who was very helpful and attentive. Restaurant was really busy and I can see why. Superb tasty food and drinks was just the ideal birthday meal!

Great, maybe best Thai food in Vegas. 10 min off the strip away from Tourists 👍 Only negative is that it is a huge place and while I had a great waitress, you do feel like a speck in this place.
Be the first to ReplyFood is amazing
Lotus food is amazing and easily deserves a 5 star but I really dislike the sneaky upsell approach the servers use. If they offer or suggest anything different than what you order find out how much it will cost! Perhaps a renowned restaurant like this can change this practice and be that much better?
Be the first to ReplyGet the northern menu and be prepared for a wait even on a weekday night.
Chaos at the entrance, long wait for service, but oh WOW, the tasty, high quality food is worth the hassle! Get the Northern dishes and ask for spice level 5 (if you can normally manage hot/suicide sauce in other restaurants)

I always come here to eat the most amazing Thai food in Las Vegas, and possibly the US as far as I can tell. We ate here 3 times in 3 days and is truly amazing. You can't go wrong with the crispy prawns, chicken wings with sweet and sour sauce, and crispy rice. There was many other excellent dishes also.

What a wonderful place for Thai food. Their menu is extensive, the wait staff and service are exceptional. Our waiter advised us on his favorite dishes, and they were outstanding. Definitely worth dining here!
Be the first to ReplyNever disappoints
We heard about this restaurant and have been going here for 4 or 5 years now, whenever we were in Vegas, now we live her and get to go frequently, which suits us just fine!
The service is always amazing. Joe and his team took great care of us tonight. We started with the crunchy rice, which is always good and one of their known dishes and our companions enjoyed the chicken dumplings.
I had the garlic BBQ prawns, which bbq isn't quite the right word, grilled with a green sauce, but delicious. My husband had a sausage dish, which had a kick, but good.
Our friends had stir fried rice (shrimp and crab) and the garlic prawns, another one of their specialties and loved it all.
We have never had a average dish here. If you are a fan of Thai and in Vegas, this is a must do restaurant.
Flavorful and Delicious
Loved the short drive off the strip to Lotus of Siam. Reservations are a must. We didn't know what to expect. I did hear many good reviews from foodie friends who say this is their favorite Thai place in Vegas. We loved the atmosphere and the servers were kind a courteous. Garlic shrimp was amazing. Crab fried rice was delicious. Yumilicious!

I am very picky about my Thai food and Lotus of Siam never, never disappoints. The service is .very spot on. The drinks...the food are excellent. I started my meal with a Kumquat Martini...so bloody good. For an appetizer I had the Golden Tofu with a chili sauce...delish. For my entree I had the Seabass with Drunken Noodles....amazing. My dinner companion had as an appetizer shrimp wrapped in bacon...he said it was lovely. For an entree he had the Deep Fried Prawns in a salt and pepper sauce. Now, for this dish...you eat the entire prawn...shells and the tail. I tried two of them...okay...four of them and they were amazing. The shells and the tail...has the texture and tastes like a potato chip. Very cool. Excellent meal.
Be the first to ReplyGood Food, not Covid safe
Really lovely, but pricy Thai restaurant. The food was delicious, but no Covid distancing. This was the one place I thought if we are going to get it, it will be here. Might try again when there is less risk. Staff was excellent.
